  1. Waheguru ji ka khalsa, Waheguru ji ki fateh

I was successful in learning Guru Granth Sahib ji.

but at the time of samaapti i was not happy i dont know why.... I was so happy that i was about to complete SGGS ji... but y i was not happy when i completed.

  2. If you look at Hinduism than you will come to know about the fact that there is no concrete evidence about the existence of their Gods and Goddesses but yes some sort of evidence are there of Mahabharat but not for everything that they believe in. And ya if we talk about Guru Angad dev ji he believed in Devi until he came of know about the facts about Guru Nanak Dev ji, but Guru Gobind Singh Ji maraharj was no out of order when it came to sikhi. He recited bani and he gave updesh to just believe in Gurbani.

  3. You read, you understood, now you yourself decide what is better for you. Many people i should say sikh people think that if they will keep hair than only they will be a true sikh but this is not the case. All the 5 Ks which we being amritdhari sikhs wear n have has some scientific approach. It is clearly mentioned in the translated version of Shri Guru Granth Sahib ji that we should live according to the will of God and the way he made us. Keeping kesh actually indicates that you agree to the design pattern of God and according to my R & D that i did for the importance of kesh, I came to know that long kesh helps human to connect with god it centralize the brain power to a point which makes the element of our brain to work in accordance with the instruction we pass which leads to a connection with God. Lastly i would like to say Sikh religion is made with practical approach, try to solve your queries scientifically. :) All the Best :)

  4. Debating debating will lead to nothing but useless tensions. It is clearly mentioned in Shri Guru Granth Sahib ji that only that person recite his Name whom the God inpires. Yes the elders are responsible for the existing condition of our generation but when i see some sikhs following khalsa panth in a better way compared to their elders than only one thought comes to my mind.

"Let the God or Lord inspire the one whom he wants to inspire to be with him".

  5. What a SIKH he would be, who will change himself for a girl :)

He who don't even care about the Guruji's will, for a sake of a girl can cut his hair, I don't think he himself is worthy of being KHALSA.

I have seen many punjabi families who are so busy in Show-offs that they don't even care to make their children learn about sikhi, They themselves are so busy with MAYA that they make their children like them and then they complain about things getting wrong with the Youth.

I am not sure but my heart says that sikhi will raise to heights in coming years :) coz this religion is based on truth and practical knowledge.

  6. This all keeps on happening in India. Where people with different beliefs live, all this kind of act is obvious.

i can easily recall 4 to 5 incident happened against Sikh last year under Manmohan singh's leadership.

Congress did so gud in 1984 with sikhs.

From last 10 years we had a silent minister. Thank God he's out and now we will have a minister who speaks. Number of votes proves his power and liking of people for him.

I dont want to offend anyone. but under BJP sikh are not in any kind of danger.

  7. In a katha at Gurdwara somebody said... When you cry while listening to shabad, kirtan and sakhis, that means Guruji is showering his kirpa on you, that means you are in love with Guru..coz u understood what he wants us to understand... :) Ha Bairaag comes when you do lot of simran and when you emerge yourself in God. Your state is a part od Bairaag but not Bairaag exactly..

  8. Only your karma can make you near to waheguru. Being amritdhari means you follow the norms of Guru Gobind Singh ji Maharaj, you want to be Khalsa of Gurujji, but that does not mean that you will be away from God if you are not amritdhari.

I have seen so many amritdharis talking themselves to be big but actually the real ones who are followers of guruji are hidden and they never force anyone to take amrit and be amritdhari. Do good with other the lord will love you :) my child :)

  9. Few days back.... I got one question in my mind

How does a person react if he is growing in spirituality...

that is for sure that with reciting the name you are enhancing your spiritual power, but how can you judge it.

I feel changes in myself a lot many times and I even feel relaxed and satisfied with my self.. a kind of peace is developing...

Is it this, the sign of Spiritual growth? and yes i feel more relaxed while doing simran as compared to doing path.. this happened few days back..

Can anyone help me out to understand this situation?

  10. There is a translation by Dr Jodh singh but that is not complete and is not available online.

Giani Narain singh Majungwale has also done translation in punjabi but it is not available on line.

There is translation by Gobind sadan. It can be seen at www.sridasam.org.

It does not contain translation of Charitropakhayan and hikayats.

Then from where can i get one which is properly and completely translated

  11. "Nothing has any meaning unless you give it meaning"

As soon as you declare you want an experience, GOD/universe/nature produces a contextual field (everything opposite will appear into the space) so that you can experience what you declare yourself to be. You my friends are creator of your own reality, using three tools of creation: Thought, word and Action. These are the tools given to us by GOD so we can experience physically what we all know conceptually (but don't seem to remember). Simran in Sikhism which is literally remembering your true self. The more you remember the truth about yourself and everyone else the more things makes sense. Hopefully this does not come across as some new age BS. If GOD is our target than we are in luck (we cant miss since it's everywhere) we can only slow our way to his realization by taking short cut (simran) or prolonging our realization (by keep the drama of life going).

Your words are 100% correct but i just want to know about the short cut you are talking about?

Coz..!! there is no short cut to achieve the realization and existence of God, If you talk about simran, it still takes a lot of time to achieve success, coz many looses their patience while doing so.

  12. HAhhahahahha Same situation.

    I did the same.

Coz i thought, its my life, my way, my soul, my religion, and so on :) and i dare not to ask anyone, coz i fear from people who are ready to oppose these thing for their own so called benefits :)

  13. I was just reading few of the threads where people were fighting for how a sikh should be and what should he do being a sikh and how should he maintain his identity.

To following sikhism is very easy task but to be a Khalsa makes a difference.

If you really luv to follow the commands of "Guru Gobind Singh" ji then only you can be strong enough to accept whatever comes your way but if 1% there is a doubt in your mind regarding the hukum of our 10th Guru, you cant actually justify yourself to the questions like:

    1. Why to keep hair.

    2. Why not to live a modern life.

3 Why mostly girls dont like me , me being keshdhari.

    4. Why to do path regularly when i cant see changes in my life.

    5. Why to follow what our elders say as we should not as the time is changed and there is no need to be a Khalsa rather be sikhs.

    ETC.

Thousands of times it is written in Guru Granth Sahib Ji that If the Lord want, he will make the man to recite his name, so why people waste time making those understand who God himself has destined to be away.

They were 5 who had blind faith in Guru Gobind Singh ji, and then with the passage of time realized that whatever was told to them to follow, paid them. It was not their need to follow him it was their luv for him.

Nahi te.. Eda hi koi kise lai nahi marda.... Else no one dies for anyone but 5 pyare were ready to do so...

This is what we call "LOVE" :yay: :lol2: :lol2:
