I disagree with Jonny 101.Our great Guru mentioned Hindu gods in his compulation only because we need a reference material for discussionwith people of other faiths, for the same purpose were the singhs sent to Kashi for studying Hindu philosophy and scriptures( this cannot mean he was fan of hinduism) Siri Guru Gibibd Singh Ji message is clear in Chaupai we recite daily - when he says Mai na ganeshai pritham manaoo, Kishan Bishan kabhoo nah dhiyaoon. Kaan sunai pehchaan na tin so - meaning, I do not wish to pray Ganesh first, neither would I recite name of Kishan or Bishan( Vishnu and his Incarnations) I hear from Them only but there is no sign if their existense, Alas we recite gurbani but never try to undestand the message lying therein.

Yesterday free canteen was started by Almighty Blessings , an organisation run by a singh Sarabjit Singh Bobby . This singh is performing varoius kinds of social services which mainly include a free 24X7 hearse service, organising blood donation camps almost every sunday in Shimla, encouraging people to celebrate festivals with destitudes ( housed at various orphanages, mahila ashrams etc.). He can be contacted at his facebook page with similar name( sarabjit singh bobby). I am sharing the happening with sangat not because he requires contributions ( he never asks or appeals for financial contributions) .Just because such Singhs are true torchbearers and ambassadors os Sikhism ,need encouraging and may other singhs take inspiration , that is the only purpose.Will be sharing pics of occasion also

In todays time every thing can be preserved in e format hence the fear has no base and the person holding the pithi should make it public so that after establishing the authenticity the real maryada can be restored otherwise the claim holds little value. Reallyvery strange happening in sad badal . /1- the party has submitted constitution to Election Commission- and a different version to Shiromni gurdwara Judicial commission , which holds gurdwara elections. another retired Sikh DGP has quit the party ( joined BJP) while non sikh ppl are joining & given such prominent positions ..This is not the dDAL which fought for Rights of /sikhs . Actually it can be defined as Shiromani Badal Party only .As they do not any agenda for the welfare of sikh Community

My Grand Father was Hindu and my father became sikh being influenced by the Akali movement (pre independence movement to free gurudhams from the clutches of Mahants) i heard from the elders that one of my ancestors(great Grand Father of My grand father ) was married to grand daughter of Baba Ala Singh , so presumably he was singh, and of Course almost all menbers of our clan- Basra -mostly living in and around Phagwara , barring a Few are all Sikhs .So down the Family line i couldnot find where ancestors reverted back to hinduism , but yes at our present Village , my father was first in the clan to embrace Sikhi

Yes he was amritdhari , else no sikh Misle or generals would have supported him , even he presented himself before Jathedar Baba Foola singh Ji for tankhah . But again he was amritdhari like our leaders of present day ,who remainn devour sikh in appearance only for political prudence , not by heart. i cannot say more on this

Which means that ( during the all four so called yugas ) the same Moon 7 Stars are rising (in the sky) , the same Sun has been giving us the heat during these times and further , the same is the earth and the same wind was and has been blowing all these times , so where is the difference between those times ( first three yugas ) & this time, the Kalyuga , it is not the place or time , Kalyuga ( the bad time ) resides as evil within ourselves

Ignoring such clear instructions from our own Spiritual Father , why we are listening to others . if we do good deeds , there is & was no kalyug as our Guru Sahib has taught us . When our GURU SAHIB ji has very kindly explained us the fallacy of classification of Yugas the question itself becomes meaningless and we should not embrace the brahminical definitions

As someone says, the Masands began committing many crimes like stealing money and raping women. Beating and killing anyone who tried to prevent their sisters daughters from being raped. When Guru Jee heard this He ordered that all Masands be brought at Anandpur Sahib by grabbing them from their beard. Not all Masands were killed. Only those who committed these crimes were killed. There was a saakhi of one Masand who was a saintly Gursikh. I forgot his name. But it is said when Guru Jee ordered that the Masands be brought to Anandpur Sahib, but no one dared to touch the beard of this Gursikh Masand since everyone knew he was sinless. When this Gursikh Masand found out, he himself grabbed his own beard and presented himself in front of Guru Gobind Singh Jee because he wanted to keep the maan of Guru Gobind Singh Jee's bachans. Guru Jee seeing him with is beard in his hand said: This hukam was not for Gursikhs like you, but for sinful Masands".

He was given title SACHA DAHRA - his name is mentioned as Bhai Feru ji in history .When Guru Sahibji was told by the Cashiers thst he is never sending Kaar bheta in Khazana , guru sahib told that he has been sending it directly and Guru ji himself recieved itt ,the fact was that Bhai Feru Ji was doing Kirat for his livelihood and the offering recieved from sangat was being utilised for welfare works and sewa of l;ocal Sangat .It was here that Guru Sahib declared that Gareeb da mooh Guru di Golak Hai

and this dictum which came direct from Guru Sahib ji mukharbind -we have forgotten today

mr. jasvendra singh, Is it right to say that the sunya contains even the akash(space) element, since the akash emerged from the sunya? In other words, can we say that the sunya is actually the universal container of all the 5 elements?

As we all know , and the saying of gurbani - JO KICHU PAIYA SO EKA WAAR , KAR KAR WAIKHE SIRJAN HAAR , the great creator has put the matter once and for ever , thereafter he is the spectator . About the Shunya ( ot the SuNN in gurbani ) it is the state of being where our perceptions I(not feelings ) become useless ( jab dhari apan sunn samaadh tab bair virodh kis sang kamaat , jab iska baran chihan na jaapat , tab haraakh soog kaho kisahe biyapaat

Sunn is the state of mind for us living where our senses of perception are in a state of rest ,and for soul it is a state where they live in formless state , even the matter as per the scientists exist in opposite balamced state of - matter and exact amount of antimatter balancing in nothingness and when some matter or antimatter drift into another dimension , the existance of various universes with galaxies , stars , planets etc emerges from nothingness( a balanced state of matter & antimatter which can be said equivalent to SHOONYA or nothingness .
