Sadh Sangat Ji this happened a while ago but i thought id still bring it to the sangats attention GURUDAWARA GRANTHI-ASSAULT CASE!! On Wednesday 15th October 2003 the SHAMEFULL early 50 year old Gianni Baljinder Singh of Ramgharia Gurudawara on Foleshill Road Coventry had indecently assaulted the 26 year old wife of the head Granthi in her own home whilst the head Granthi is away in India. The so called Granthi had entered the womans home whilst she was home alone to ask if she was in need of anything from the shops as he was going there,he had then asked her if there was anything he could drink,the lady replied "Yes i wil just get you some" thinkin innocently and the thought of seva(selfless act). He then casualy took a sip of his drink and then walked over to her put his arm around her and sed "Here take a sip of my drink (JHOOT)" and then attempted to feed her the drink by force.The lady had then pushed him away and asked him to leave the house,he did not leave the house as he was told and he started to stroke her hair,the lady had then asked him what he thought he was doing and the granthi replied "why are you getin so upset and angry with me??" and then he grabbed her close to her and started to molest her body with great force putting his hands in places he had no right to touch, she had pushed him away again and told him to leave immediately othawise she would go to the Gurudawara Commitee &inform them of what he had done, this threat had scared the Granthi and he left afer begging her not to tell her husband what had happend. Later that day the lady had plucked the courage to approach the commitee to see if they would help her as she felt abus ed,vulnerable and disgusted that a Granthi of the Gurudawara could do such a shameful thing. The commitee showed no pity or remorse for the woman and told her to keep her mouth shut and not to make a big deal to save the reputation of the Gurudawara.She argued that the Granthi should be bought to justice as he is a danger to every woman that enters the Gurudawara. She had gone to a family that she could trust as nobody at the Gurudawra would help or listen to her. The family took the matters into there hands and tried once again to reason with the commitee and ask for help. The commitee told the family that it was nothing to do with them and they will carry on doing as they please and they will not remove the Granthi from the Gurudawara. The family warned the commitee that if he is not removed by the Sunday 19th October 2003 then it would be publicised infront of the sangat what happend and how the commitee had dealt with the situation. By Sunday no action had been taken and the commitee decided to keep the Granthi there and had taunted the women to keep her mouth shut. On Sunday morning the family that she had turned to and certain memebers of the sangat joined together and took her to the Sunday devan so she could present her case to the sangat and then they could decide on how the matter should have been dealt with. The woman had informed the police of this and they gave permission to carry this method out. When a member of the family supporting her asked for 10 min on the stage to present her case the commitee had kicked up a fuss,turned of all microphones and hid the Granthi and said that she does not have the right to speak here and to go into the office and talk the lady replied she had already approached the commitee numerous times and not once did anybody help her.The Women sangat had given permission for her to speak but the commitee still did not let her. The woman continued to speak no matter what and tried to be heard.She told the members to bring the Granthi infront of the sa ngat if they had nothing to hide but the commitee had refused,she stood infront of the womens sangat and told them exactly what had happend and then swore on the Guru Granth Sahib that she had told the whole truth and asked the commitee to do the same and they all refused to swear on the Guru Granth Sahib. The commitee denied all knowledge of the situation and still told the woman to shut up she had then asked if they would react the same if it happend to their family members and there responses were "THEN IT WOULD BE A DIFFERENT CASE". The above goes to show that a majority of people who go to the Ramgharia Gurudawara Coventry are spineless,heartless,cowards and are not worthy of wearing the turbans on there heads.The commitee is a disgrace to the community and to the sikh faith and are just as guilty as the Granthi is, othawise everybody would have let the truth be spoken. The woman is thankfull to those few women that supported her.The perverted Granthi is still at the Gurudawra and the police are supporting us 100% with this disgraceful indecent assault case. Fateh! I dont know if this is tru but ive heard from people that the some akj memebers mostly int he uk area and tapoban singh/singhny refer to bhai sahib bhai randir singh ji as "bhapu ji" but isnt sahib sri guru gobind singh our "bhapu ji"....just my 2 cents plz correct me if i am wrong

This is the reply of a person who is organizing this keertan "Due to all of the concerns, we are re-evaluating the decision on whether to do Parkash of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee" Sadh sangat ji what is there to evaluate this is not a type of place to have the parkash if guru ji these ppl claim this place is not a party hall but i have received information that in past there has been gathering or parties...it has also to my attention that maharajis parkash will be on the 2nd floor of the building on top there is a restaurant where meat is served. And in the basement in the same building there is a pub...however the people who are organizing this whole thing are now saying that they might not have a guru maharaj jis parkash there they might just have keertan there...they should think twice about that because there being its just as same so why even have a keertan in the 1st place its not going to prove you are bigger than anyone instead you guys will be doing more of something bad by going to such a place and doing keertan than you will be doing anything good.....forgive me for any mistakes this is information I have received through sources

Dear Sikh Sangat it has come to my attention there is a keertan program taking place Nov 5th (not too sure about the date) anyway it is taking place in the month of November at the University Of British Columbia (ubc) when we think of a keertan program in a major Uni such as ubc we think wow that’s really good gursikhs are organizing keertans in major uni that will be good to show others out there what Sikhi is about.... however gursikho there’s a major problem. The place where the keertan is taking place is not a good place this building is located in the ubc campus and where the keertan is taking place is on the 1st floor which is a party hall...and on the 2nd floor in the same building there is a pub...the organizers are amrit dari gursikhis...I personally think they should know better not to take guru sahib in such a place like that...even if they are cleaning the party hall the point is its still a party hall and onto of that there is a pub on the 2nd floor...we should ask ourselves is this a way to treat our guru ji....I think its a good thing they are doing a keertan but they should overlook the location if they cannot get a place then they should not hold the keertan there....in my opinion I think this keertan should be put to a stop...please forgive me for any mistakes

There has been a this question in my mind for a while now....i thought id share it with the Sikh Sangat..My Question is do you think Sikhs should tie their beards...personally i think a person should not try to hide his sikhi by tieing their beard...people will challenge by saying it looks nice and professinal..sadh sangat ji our great guru sahib sri guru gobind singh was the king of kings they didnt tie their beard to look nice....why is a need for todays sikhs....in todays young sikhs ive noticed most of them gel their beards to look nice whats the point of that...a sikh is not suppose to use anything on their beard....THIS IS THE DARA SAHIB OF GURU GOBIND SINGH JI MAHARAJ WE SHUD MANTAIN IT LIKE REAL GURSIKHS>>ASK YOURSELF DO U WANT TO IMPRESS THE WORLD AROUND U OR DO WANT TO IMPRESS THE GURU<

I am not here to cause any trouble or anything but I have found of something that I thought should be brought to the Sikh Sangats attention...I have come to learn some gursikhs whose names I know but I am not going to mention are signing a petition against a bibi who ties a keskhi but is not amritdari...the people who are behind this petition claim that the bibi ji who ties the keskhi is not planning to get attain amrit...however I have not seen or heard any evidence like this....my personal view is that if the bibi is tying a keshki she is obviously going to attain amrit soon and i dont we should stop her but encourage however I could be wrong....what are your views.... but i think the gursikhs who are behind this might have a good reason beacuse they would not be taking harsh action like this for no reason can they please explain on here..or if anyone has information about this please post it here...any mistakes i have made please forgive me

I went to a Gurdwara sahib in Surrey B.C called Gurdwara Sahib Canadian Singh Sabha the 1st thing i noticed was on one side a massive painting which had Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj and aswell as other gurus also ont he opposite wall they are working on another picture that will have painting of our Guru jis...by the way jarnail singh is painter....the question i have for the sikh sangat on this fourm is shud we have paints of guru jis in the gurdwara sahibs dont get me mistakened here by we are not suppose to even have paitning of the guru jis because that becomes into hinduism wut we refer to as "moortiay" well im ok to a certain point if they have become a "custom" to have them in houses but in gurdwara sahib they shudnt be allowed there...ive seen lots of ppl looking at the paintings and bowing their head to them in respect and thats just wrong also further more most of the youth that is uneducated about sikhism belives that our guru sahibs did look like this..some might challenge me by saying umm harimander sahib has pics of guru sahibs engraved int he gold but we shud remeber that those engarving are not eh orginals from guru sahibs time after all the gold was put on by maharaja ranjit singh and at that time during their raj many paints were made well anyway.... the question i put forth to the sikh sangat is shud we have them in gurdwara sahib is we shud why or why not please explain...i ask for forgiveness if i have offened anyone thank you

Dear Sikh Sangat Members I personally believe Simranjit Singh Mann is brainwashing people by saying he will do this and that for Khalistan he goes around the world saying this and that about Khalistan and also he says he will free the Sikh youth that has been in jails since 84…however hasn’t done anything besides gather money for his supposed “campaign” im not saying necessarily he is a bad person.
