On November 9th to 12th, we will be having a Sikh Conference in beautiful Miami, Florida based on the Sikh Identity. We have many exciting speakers lined up for the conference such as Sukha Singh (UK), Valerie Kaur, T.Sher Singh, Amar Bhalla of the Sikh Coalition, Sharat Raju and Nam Simran Kaur. This conference's main focus is to explore and discuss the beautiful Sikh Identity that has been bestowed upon us, from many different aspects.
The Spinning Wheel Film Festival will also be showcased as part of the Jago Conference. This year’s theme “Sikh Identity: Celebrating Our Heritage” will be showcasing a series of 12 short films with various themes: entertaining, educating, heart wrenching, historical, thought provoking and inspirational films on Sikh Identity. Thereby providing a forum for the Sikh and non-Sikh community to preview Sikh films, meet filmmakers, and pave the way for discussion.
