Unless our community is willing to openly accept the normlity of homo/heterosexual impulses then these things will go on, the jathedar made a mistake when he denounced homosexuality he has driven the practice underground and then it surfaces and manifests in those that can be silenced, and even they cannot be silenced. Yes thisguy has annoyed alot of people even once I saw him arguing with the Hizbut-Tahrir on islamchannel he was told off by them but then when he wrote his article about his experience he didnt apologise just took the piss even more, No offence but dont get carried away journalists write much worse stuff than this and we have free speech i dont think he has a bad heart he just misunderstands sikhism you have to sit and educate people like this and make up for the parental deficit.

Also so what if he is a homosexual what does that have to do with anything you need to address the issue concerned instead of being discriminatory. Well folks after being banned 4 times, the debate continues to rage on in total ignorance of the last 20 or so pages where all their questions were answered, so what went wrong? well more sikhs came on the forum and we all contradicted one another and so the muslims exploited this and were back to square one, confusion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Radhasomai is the same as sant mat it is what existed before sikhism, guru gobind singh ji put an end to the mystical confusion of radical bhakti and sufi movements by organising the the guru into shabad or bani and by instituting khalsa as the temporal aspect of the guru. The guru was never flesh because the flesh dies and then how can that help you, only the word can ever be the guru, yet the radhasoami master cant uchaar any bani they keep referring back to direct revelation from gurbani to back up their claims, why is it that they cannot produce direct revelation if they are joined with god.

I have read the sarbachan also it is good and worth reading but i dont understand how it leads to a totalitarian faith cos it does not elect any representative as guru. i have also been to beas and the people were rude to us so we came back dont think i would ever go there again it felt like a military cantonement, their sachkhand ghar is actually quite beautiful if i am honest.

It is also said that the radhasoamis do not believe in the gurus after the 5th one but they also say that Guru Gobind Singh Ji initiated tulsi das who then intitiated shiv dayal singh, so how can you not believe in the gurus after the 5th one because without the 10th you would never have been intiated. Anyhow i was really into radhasomais when i was 15 years old but i have learned by experience that it is not for me. We shouldnt criticise anyone otherwise we become the same as them we need to transcend and live in the gap of non-thought.

Now, back to the point made about sexuality. I do not believe it is a very pressing issue, but because you have raised the issue I would like to make my opinion clear. I believe sexuality should be accepted into the cultural norm of Khalistan. Human nature should not be suppressed, but at the same time there should be some self control. We should not have “red light” districts, but at the same time, male and female interaction should be encouraged.

but i think people should have the right to same-sex marriages also, in the west same-sex relationships are a welcomed thing but in dire societies which are stagnant same-sex relationships are not very much appreciated i think we need an overhaul in what is really important in life. i think that punjabis are more interested in keeping taboos hidden and it shouldn't be, thats why theirs soooo much drug addiction cos people dont understand how to cope with natural feelings.

Now I ask you, is it better to have one person in power or a council, what would be the most effect way to get people into power (besides elections from the general population), how long should their term in power be for?

i would prefer that their be no "government", i believe the country should have a "collaborant", where people work together, because when you have an opposition then slowly we progress into dirty politics for power, wheras when people are working together the wheel of dharma will continue to spin. Its the way of thinking that we have been brainwashed that a country needs to be governed, yet our guru made us sovereign people ie, self-governing, so why do we need to bestow any authority on an elite group of individuals, why not have a platform where joe bloggs can walk of the street and discuss ideas for the welfare of sarbat, do you get me just trying to think outside the box of modern nation state.

What is a paki country? Presumably you are talking about muslim countries. To my knowledge "paki" is a racial slur. Is that what is intended in your post?

I agree with thrird round ji, but i am gonna go further and say that if a society is not sexually liberated its creativity will be stunted, this is the problem with culture because on one side we have the lure and love of our heritage and wnat to add to this heritage but on the other side we have this need for more freedom in our lives, in sikhi detachment is prized but in punjabi culture detachment does not exist only suffocation of individuality, the problem with free countries is that they have in the past taken away from our own societies so therefore you feel like your selling out if you contribute or align yourself with those societies, sarbat da bhalla is a great task to acheive.

Why should it not be Khalistan? It's the land of the Khalsa. All people who want to reside there well be allowed to. It's not like Islamic countries where your not allowed to preach other religions.

Sikhs are tolerant of all faiths! I pray Independece is declared anytime soon.
