  1. First you posted, Nihangs don't allow women to take Amrit. Now you're saying women in Hazur Sahib are allowed to take kirpan da Amrit. And your source is a blog. Don't know who created it. I have seen with my own eyes Nihangs be married to a bibi who is Amritdhari. Giving kirpan da Amrit to women is wrong. What concerns me is your first general statement.
  2. Nihang Singhs do not say women cant take Amrit. There might be one or two of them who have been done wrong by women and now they hate women altogether. Nihang Singhs marry amritdhari bibis and give amrit to women. One or two trouble makers do not speak for all the Nihang Jathas.
  3. The short answer is No because of the level of commitment toward Guru Sahib is different. One has accepted the idea of giving the head (mind) to Guru Sahib and the other is still juggling their head and don't know where to place it. Once a person has taken amrit they have entertained the idea of giving up the self to the Guru. This brings a person closer to realizing how important amrit and Guru is. A person who has not even decided to take amrit cannot even fathom the idea.
  4. I am going to copy and paste the writing of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji. I will also give you the link to where you can find more about why all these prophets/messengers of God were sent and what they actually did. I hold no hate or fear toward any prophet/messenger of God. The lines I am going to copy and paste were written by Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji and not by someone else. All those whom God established for the revelation of His Supremacy, they themselves were called Supreme. They forgot the Lord in their race for supremacy. 12 ang 133 of Sri Dasam Granth Sahib ji. I recommend you start reading from the beginning to get the full picture of what is being said. Here is the link below. http://www.sridasam.org/dasam?Action=Page&p=94
  5. I think this poster believes I am Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji. Provide proof I have taken Guru Sahib Bani out of context and provide the exact lines of my opinion on this topic. I provided Sri Guru Gobind SIngh Sahib ji`s view on Jesus Christ. You still cannot swallow the truth. I don`t have time for your ambiguous and generalizing post only to devalue the one line I have been saying from the beginning of accepting Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji`s Bani as is. Can`t smack my head against a brick wall anymore. It`s actually starting to hurt.
  6. Those, who have read the history of the sgpc rehat maryada creation would be able to tell how the Pal Singh Purewal Calendar (so called Nanakshahi calendar) will be forced on the Sikhs in the same manner. They have been trying the same tactics and became successful. Give it a Gurmat name and watch how the naive Sikhs will start bowing down to it.
  7. SGPC is the one who made an incomplete Rehat Maryada and forced the title Sikh Rehat Maryada of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. I have read the history of how this Rehat Maryada was forced in and not accepted by many Gursikhs. While discussing to make a Rehat Maryada for the whole Panth Gursikhs walked away because the committee was not willing to accept Gurmat ideas. Instead they were taking Gurmat ideas out and making a secular Rehat. 1932 was the boiling point, where they decided to put discussion aside because even the people left in the committee could not agree on topics. Many years later, with very little discussion and selected people the incomplete Rehat Maryada was forced on the Khalsa Panth. The Gursikhs of that time were not going to let go of the Rehat Maryada Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji gave them and they suck to their Gurus Rehat. This so called Sri Akal Takht Sahib Maryada is man made and incomplete. Nirmale, Sevapanthis, Udhasis, Nihangs, and Taksal were all given a separate Rehat Maryada by Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji to focus on the duty they were given by the Guru himself. However in all 5 different jathas one core idea was the same. They all agreed on what is the Gurus Bani and what is our nitnem. 5 Banis were read by all of them as nitnem. Some read more, but never less. AKJ was created later and they too follow the Gurus word of reading 5 Banis in the morning as nitnem. What to we see from this so called Sri Akal Takhat Sahib Maryada? They don't even follow the core idea that all 5 jathas agreed on and were given the instructions by Guru Sahib to deliver on. One poster said the so called Sri Akal Takhat Rehat Maryada says 3 Banis in the morning is the minimum amount and you can do more. I have read this so called Sri Akal Takhat Sahib Maryada many times and no where does it say the 3 Banis it list is the minimum Banis. But it says this is the Nitnem Bani. Here is the link to it. http://sgpc.net/sikh-rehat-maryada-in-punjabi/ Now I want to ask. Is SGPC your Guru or Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji? By the looks of it, you are saying the former is your Guru as you regard the so called Sri Akal Takhat Sahib Rehat Maryada to be what you live by. My Guru, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji gave my 5 Banis in the morning to read as my nitnem. So who are these beymukh men to come and change my Gurus words?
  8. Was Sikhi created when sgpc was created or before? Do not pock a sleeping lion. It only seems to be sleeping. Dasam bani flows through the viens, the heart functions on Aad Guru Granth.
  9. The secondary reasons stem from one main point that I have shown to not be an authority on the topic of Jesus Christ being a Gurmukh, etc. Highest authority and only authority is Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji's Bani. End of story. If you feel there is another higher authority. Then say so and don't hid behind others. I will not be subjected to this back handed cunning tactics. Be a man and post in the correct thread and we can discuss. To give a little flavor. Rehat does not equal Gurbani. Rehat has changed over the course of the Gurus and Gurbani has stayed the same. So there is the simple logic you Baba and jatha culture people cannot accept. What gave you the impression I rely on english translations? Or is this one of your cunning ways to take away the validity of my post based on Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji's Bani? I really believe it is the latter. In the past I have translated the Guru's Bani myself from Gurmukhi to english on this very site. So your argument falls on deaf hears. Nice try though. Jesus Christ and every other so called messenger sent by God and actually sent by God is included in the Bani of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji. Plain and simple all lost to ego. Bhagat Bani was included in Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji and those who passed the test are included in Gurbani. If there was one honest messenger/avtaar/prophet, etc out of them. Their writing would have been included in Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji like Bhai Mardana Bani is. Dhan Dhan Dhan Bhai Mardana ji who did the seva of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji Maharaj. The Sikhs of today can learn something from him today. Leave Gurbani as is and don't add your manmat too it.
  10. When has the goal of Sikhs or the Gurus ever been to expand the Sikh Panth? The goal has always been to spread the truth; Gurbani. The expansion of the the Khalsa Panth is a result of speaking the Truth (Gurbani). What these two guys are doing is wrong. They are using not Gurbani (truth) to bring punjabi Christians into the fold of Sikhi, but opinions; which frankly come out to be lies. Through Truth and into Truth is the Gurus way. If it was about expanding the Khalsa Panth through manipulation. Our Guru could have used his shakti to raise the Khalsa flag over all of creation. Creation would have been born into the Khalsa from the beginning. Why did Jesus fail, among others? Because they took the route of expanding their own kingdom (ideas, own praise, etc) on earth. The Gurus came to teach the truth as they were absorbed into it themselves. There was no separation (ego) in our Gurus. The command came and they completed everything as told. Look at the state of the Khalsa Panth today. 99% of the Sikhs have forgotten Gurbani and attached themselves to a personality or perceived personality. Nihangs, Taksal, Nanaksar, AKJ, Neeldharis, Naamdharis Missionaries, Udasis, Nirmale, Sevapanthis, secular quasi-religious fanatics etc. all have attached themselves to personalities who excite their minds. This thread is a perfect example. This conversation was ended in the first 2 pages after Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji's Bani was posted. But a few were not satisfied with their Gurus final word. Ten pages later they are still attached to personalities and ready to use many methods to convey others to follow these personalities they hold in the highest regard. I have sat with many jathabandis and one thing they all hold in common is the lying. The lying is repeated throughout the jatha to keep members and grow their own mindset among the new and old members. Their Baba is put on a high platform or in many cases the Baba's picture or in Nanaksar cases, the Babas shoes and the sofa he sat on are bow down too. I won't label all Babas with the same brush because majority of them would have burnt all their belongings if they knew the followers would have started bowing down to them. Majority of the Babas have said join to Gurbani, but these groups have taken the Babas personality as the last truth. Time to rethink where am I headed and where am I suppose to be going. The youth from the outside look as if they are more in Sikhi today, but in reality we are falling victim to jatha culture.
  11. Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji has said the fate of Jesus Christ. If Guru Sahib wanted us to know what happened after to Jesus Christ he would have wrote it in for all to bow down and accept. Anything written or said by someone else is an opinion when Jesus Christ left this world. I don't have an opinion on the topic because I am satisfied with what Guru Sahib has told me through Gurbani. I have no desire to praise or belittle Jesus Christ. This is my stance as a Sikh of the Guru. Sri Chand followers and associates get a bad taste in their mouth when a Sikh speaks the about him in Gurbani. I see the same distaste coming from those who choose to cover up the truth about Jesus Christ in Gurbani.
  12. Why would anyone look at something man made? We have Akal Purakh telling us directly in Sri Dasam Granth Sahib ji the fate of Jesus Christ among others. The person doing nindya is you and others who aggressively are going against Gurbani. I stand firmly on by Guru's Bani. Any Sikh, when faced with this babbling of some book must do the same.
  13. He tries to be a clever individual but digs a deeper hole. I can give him another round of shape up or leave. But,lets see what his next move is. I will give him one chance.
  14. At the Gurus feet in what context? First you said a Sikh is a person who keeps hair, ties a turban, and keeps a kirpan. And now you are saying a Sikh is a person who is at the feet of Guru Sahib. Sant Jarnail Singh ji Khalsa said the devi and devta are falling at the feet of the Guru and Bhagats because they are begging for mukhti. This does not make them Sikhs or Saints. There are some demons and ghost begging at the feet of Satguru, but this does not make them Sikhs or Sants or Bhagats. Gurbani defines who is a Sikh of Guru Sahib. It is those who follow his path. Obviously these devi and devta, demon, and ghost did not follow Guru Sahib's path. Hence they are stuck between worlds and now want to be set free. Some have been set free as Gurbani tells us.
  15. I don't think. I call him, what Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji called him. Can't say the same for you.
  16. Where in Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji or Sri Dasam Granth Sahib ji did Jesus come to the feet of Akal Purakh? You have a lot to answer too. And you can't keep up with all these statements you keep making.
  17. MEGA LOL, You tell me to have some respect for Gurbani and then you write Goddamn respect......LOL. This is turning into a circus. Which lines did you think, I meant. Obviously the ones you put side by side and asked me, what is the difference?
  18. Are you going to provide the meanings for the lines in discussion or do you need to tag corrupted Randhawa Baba in?
  19. Is this another wild goose chase of yours? If so I am not playing along.
  20. Go back and read your post. It's clear what you were implying. Sant Baba Gurbachan Singh ji would have slapped Randhawa corrupted Baba himself for the filth that comes out of his mouth. Everyone who listens to Sant baba Gurbachan Singh ji's katha laughs and Randhawa corrupted Baba. What is the meaning of each line?
  21. Which Taksal? Dhumma, Badal da chumcha or Ram Sinh or Randhawa corrupted Baba? Actual Taksal sticks to Bani of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji. I read fine, it's you who can't answer questions. I answered your question in the form of a question.
  22. You can't tell the difference? Are you implying the quote of John is Satgur ki Bani?
  23. I read other religions scriptures as well. But your Sikhi came into question, when you started to imply the Bible is a higher truth than Sri Dasam Granth Sahib ji. Accepting the bible quote and not accepting what Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji said in Dasam Bani about Jesus Christ. No witch hunt needed, it was clear as day, what you were up too. Corrupted Baba Randhawa Sahib needs a good Taksali a** kicking. If Gursikhs from 1980s were here today, we would not even find this corrupted Baba on stages today. The Gursikhs would have put him on kacherain di duty and would have left him there till he found some humility.
  24. You can't hear or read Jesus Christ being put down. Neither can I hear or read, when others make out of thin air Jesus Christ was a Sant, Sikh, and Gurmukh. My Guru, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib ji already said Jesus Christ is not a Sant, Sikh, or Gurmukh, but a egotistical prophet. When in the name of Sikhi such lies are spread, my heart burns to stop this nonsense and set the record straight as the king of kings has said in the most purest words, all Gursikhs bowed down to and gave their lives for; Gurbani.
  25. Come back to the the Bani of the Guru. The Bani of the Guru is the only source of the True Father. The True Father says all previous prophets failed to deliver the true message and were lost in ego by getting others to praise them.
