  1. Thank you friends! Guru Sahib is saving me from this situation by many ardaases. You are all gursikhs and it is rather you all that I love as my brothers and sisters, not some girl. Waheguru! Thank you friends! Guru Sahib is saving me from this situation by many ardaases. You are all gursikhs and it is rather you all that I love as my brothers and sisters, not some girl. Waheguru!
  2. There is a girl that i believe i truly love. I have tried not to love her, for the sake of not becoming attached, but i cannot stop my love for her. She is a christian girl and she is the perfect one for me. But i have taken a hukamnama and Guru sahib says: Sorat'h, Third Mehla: Serving the True Guru, the divine melody wells up within, and one is blessed with wisdom and salvation. The True Name of the Lord comes to abide in the mind, and through the Name, one merges in the Name. ||1|| Without the True Guru, the whole world is insane. The blind, self-willed manmukhs do not realize the Word of the Shabad; they are deluded by false doubts. ||Pause|| The three-faced Maya had led them astray in doubt, and they are snared by the noose of egotism. Birth and death hang over their heads, and being reborn from the womb, they suffer in pain. ||2|| The three qualities permeate the whole world; acting in ego, it loses its honor. But one who becomes Gurmukh comes to realize the fourth state of celestial bliss; he finds peace through the Name of the Lord. ||3|| The three qualities are all Yours, O Lord; You Yourself created them. Whatever You do, comes to pass. O Nanak, through the Lord's Name, one is emancipated; through the Shabad, he is rid of egotism. ||4||12|| I do not know what to do but please help me friends!!

  4. I created this YouTube video myself, and I think it expleone most of what happened: www.youtube.com/watch?v=BK5hknge8DI. Search: Sikh 1984, on YouTube and Google to find out more.
  5. On that note MisterrSingh, I'm sorry for my overreacting to you on behalf of my haumai. It is a deadly force indeed.
  6. Yes, true, but as Sikhs we ought not to be congradulating him for acting in this way. He is honestly a joke..
  7. USA Citizens Over 13: Bapu Surat Singh Khalsa Ji is onto his 207th day (as of 8/9/15) of his hunger strike. He doesn't eat and only drinks water. This petition to the White House will help to release Sikh political prisinors. The thing is, it'll take 100,000 signatures to get recognition, and we need that by late September. We only have about 2000 now. Sign this petition and share it with your friends (sikh and non-sikh) and family and make sure the world hears us! In the meantime, protest to the Indian government should still be done. Here is the link to the petition: https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/recognize-hunger-striking-us-resident-surat-singh-khalsa-his-peaceful-struggle-human-rights
  8. Who watched the First Republican Debate last night? My new favorites: Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, Ben Carson, Carly Fiorina. I thought about Bernie Sanders, but he is for gun restrictions, and for abortion. Hillary is an <banned word filter activated> and a proven liar about Benghazi, the Email Scandal, etc. Plus her husband was Bill Clinton who screwed up America, as well as committed adultery while in the White House. Donald Trump is a <banned word filter activated> and an egoist. He is unpresidential without integrity.
  9. Yes, yes, you're right...I mis-worded that.I should have said "Nikki Haley was born into a Sikh family".
  10. Bobby Jindal has good stances on the issues, but doesn't seem to have any intentions of following through. Nikki Haley isn't running yet. Yes she is a Methodist Christian but she also visits gurudwara sahib regularly because she was born a sikh.
  11. Yeah. Rand wants to declare war on ISIS, which I can agree with because otherwise they're just going to keep killing the innocent and we're going to do nothing about it. I'm not sure on Bernie's stance on it, but I think he doesn't want a war with ISIS. Mark my words: Bernie Sanders will win, though he isn't personally my first choice.
  12. If nobody turns up, who do you figure you'll vote for? The Constitution Party is always pretty good.
  13. Haha you have convinced me. I like the idea of Socialism, but until welfare fraud is destroyed, that will play a big role in a Socialist society. So which libertarian are youfor? Gary Johnson?
  14. Okay, well WHY does Bernie Sanders have the most Sikh ethics? And why the Libertarian Party? They are for marajuana legalization.
  15. Great to see you again, MisterrSingh! I'm a Sikh. Flat out and simple. Ok? You are the troll if you don't trust your brothers, as Guru Gobind Singh said. Yeah, I support Palestine from what I've read about the situation. But it is messy and confusing and I'm no expert. I just wanted to see what others had to say. I know that reasons are religious, and religiously speaking, I think that Israel should have the region for the sake of Jerusalem and all of the holy places there. The Muslims probably have some holy places in Palestine as well, but they get Arabia. But I think that we shouldn't look from a religious point of you, but of who owns the land. It was Palestine pre-1947, and after Israel was given power,it has lost many wars. Neither side is innocent, but they don't have to be. Since when does politics have ethics anyways? He doesn't support holy lands or chosen people, but he does have the right to recognize a country as being legitimate, whatever their motive. Guru Gobind Singh almost all that the Mughal Empire had been doing, and he didn't support them, but did acknowledge that they were a legitimate nation.
  16. I like the economical views of Bernie Sanders and many others, but he is for abortion and seems to like the Iran Nuclear Deal, which I find an awful awful idea!
  17. I've seen from time to time different threads pertaining to the Israel-Palestine conflict. Some have supported Israel. Others Palestine. Some say neither is. But Guru Gobind Singh told us already. Every question is answered by Guru Sahib Ji (I'm sorry I don't know the ang., but it is from Krishna Avtar): Kou kise ko rajnade hai Jo lai hai nij bal sit lai hai No people can have self-rule as a gift from another. It has to be seized through their own strength. After Zionist revolts began in Palestine for a Jewish state (Israel) and for a while created devastation, the United Nations (UN) jumped in and split Palestine into two countries: Palestine and Israel. In wars, not much later, Israel took over Palestinian land and kept it for their own. So...who is right? Well...Israel,,,right? Wrong. Yes, they took over land, but the United Nations (UN) gave Israel land for free, and the right to being its own country. Israel got 55% of land and Palestine got the other 45%. It was completly disproportional. Becoming an internationally recognized nation gave Israel the ability to having stability, which Palestine had to, but without the UN, Israel wouldn't have had much of it. And even though the UN's purpose of giving land to Israel was "to stop violence", it is more than likely that by now the conflict would have been cleared up without the UN, but since the original Palestinian land was split up, it has taken many more lives. For those who have given up on figuring out who is right and who is wrong, the Tenth King gives us the answer plain and simple. Dhan Dhan Sri Satguru Gobind Singh Sahib Ji Maharaja!
  18. American Sikhs: For those of you who have been watching the news recently, you will know of many of the 2016 Presidential candidates. I have a two questions: 1. Which political party do you feel is more according to Sikh belief and 2. Which candidates or candidates have you narrowed you choices to so far. I am interested to see who Sikhs seem to favor the most. My background is Republican, but I do not know who is a good candidate according to gurmat. Thanks!
  19. Thanks that makes sense. I should have thought about it more. Lol I was just being stupid 'ol me again. May Guru Sahib Ji's blessing enter your house, Bhagat
  20. What I truly find hilarious, is that you have the need to comment on this question, when deep within your heart you didn't understand the answer, and only know the answer off of the surface of your intelect. How can I tell? In amrit we give our head to Guru Sahib and take it seriously to walk in the way of his will. If you are such an embodiment of wisdom, you'd live in guru sahib's will. But criticizing me for having a stupid question and mocking me I'm that way is not gurmat. A true sikhv would answer the freaking question...not pride himself over more knowledge than a sikh brother. Stop trying to surpass me and surpass yourself. Bhagat Singh
  21. Finally! A good aswer that isn't hardcore anti-Islamic! Thanks.
  22. It has many scientific facts in it, but some scientofic fallacies (untrue things). So I'll agree it isn't written by Waheguru. Well of course it has Jewish rituals...it is an Abrahamic Faith born out of Christianity that was born out of Judaism. And as for Zoroastrian rituals, I don't know of any that were stolen. The Kaaba does not have an idol of Shiva inside. Get your facts right. Here is a look inside of the Kaaba: www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-MimunZijM. Islam is against idolatry anyway. Yes circulating around the Kaaba is a ritual but it represents the seven heavens (they do it seven times). Muhammad made false rituals, yes, but it was made by him, and its not an ancient pagan or vedic thing. According to legend, Satan appeared before Abraham and Jibril those walls so that is why they now pelt the walls, a ritual as if Satan is still there they stone him like Abraham supposedly did. Wearing the Ihram clothing and shaving head is symbolic of humility and purity and devotion to God like how ascetics where rags and stuff. White is symbolic of purity and devotion. No, the pre-Islamic Pagan moon god of Arabia was called "Hubal", not "Allah". The name "Yahweh", the Jewish god does have Pagan origins as the God of Israel. The word "Allah" come from "ilah", the word for "God" in arabic. At the Battle of Badr in 624 AD, Muhammad and his men fought against members of the moon god Hubal's cult. In 630 AD, he removed all of the Pagan idols from the Kaaba and probably had them destroyed. Also, are you going to tell me Christianity was based off of Egyptian Paganism, since the god of egypt called Atum's symbol was basically a cross? Moon and Star is a popular symbol, like how the Sikh Khanda symbol looks like the emblem of the Iran flag. Fateh. Bhagat singh
  23. He is not "my Prophet Muhammad", since I am a Sikh. I do not believe in the Hadiths because there would make him a terrorist and rapists who split the moon in two.
  24. Your are correct that he is nothing in comparison to our Satguru. Muhammad taught of God but also made his own ritualistic practices. Guru Gobind Singh said that there have been countless people like Muhammad and he isn't exclusively special by any means. And also, "La illallaha illallah muhammad rasullah" is the first Islamic kalma, and the basis of faith for a Muslim as the Mul Mantar is for Sikhs. You don't need "Muhammad rasullah" to go to Heaven, just "La illaha illallah" as the following Hadith verifies according to Islamic belief: The Prophet -- Allah bless and greet him -- said: "Whoever says: there is no god but Allah enters Paradise." He did cause his followers to recite his name in "La illaha illallah Muhammad rasullallah" and was egotistical like Krishna, and even if those untrustworthy Hadiths were right, his path brings many people righteousness. If you all are going to bash him as being a terrible person as the hadiths say, read the miracle in one of the hadiths of him splitting the moon in two. Believe the hadiths or do not but don't be a hypocrite and pick and choose as you wish. that was a main point our gurus spoke against.
  25. Sufis do accept Mohammad. Look up videos of them chanting "La illaha illallah, MUHAMMAD RASULLALLALH" (There is no God but God, and Muhammad is his prophet).
