    Rehras Sahib

If your really prefer not listening to your iPod i would say try to memorize it. Im not quite sure how i did it but i think either playing it over and over again and also learning the first few bit of each part. Good Luck!
  3. So much has happened One minute i was smiling The next i had tears fall from my eyes I dont know where to turn Who to talk to Everyone has left me They're all busy I need someone to listen to me God! Why did you leave me You cause all this trouble and then you just dissapear I went outside and hung from that tree branch Hesitant to come down Scared to face life There he stood At the bottom of the tree I didnt want to look at him "Let go" "No" "Do you think i would let you fall?" "You have only caused me pain" I yell, "SOMEONE HELP ME!! IM IN TROUBLE!" Nobody came "Funny nobody came to your help but me, hmm?" "Its a coinicidence thats all" "I dare you to let go" "Fine, im not a coward" I knew i was scared I knew it would all end He wouldn't catch me "And you thought I wouldnt't catch you!" Next think i knew, i was looking at his shining face filled with joy "Im sorry" "Who else would catch me over and over again after all this ive said to you?" "Me" He smiled.
  4. Im sorry if this sounds rude but im so sick and tired of your guys's b.s can you be any more immature? What is wrong with someone who is Gay or Lesbian wanting to take amrit? You think your more superior than them for what reason exactly?? Grow up for god's sake... THEY'RE HUMAN JUST LIKE YOU.. your immaturity is a great repersentation for Sikhs showing that we're so loving and acceting... hence the sarcasim.. rghh!!!!
  5. I dont know if im wrong so forgive me if i say anything wrong Firstly ask yourself this: Do Gursikhs ever judge anyone by colour, creed, race? Never. So why would they judge based on the sexual orientation of a human being? A Gursikh is one who has become the dust of the Saint's feet, who have given up their needs and desires and devoted themselves 100% towards Guru Saahib. Needless to say they have become one with God. I myself have never felt accepted totally by anyone except Guru Saahib proven to be said that i dont think Guru Saahib would ever turn away someone who is considered Gay or a Lesbian. Gursikhi is about your love and about your acceptance to all that Guru Saahib does. He created all Gay's and Lesbians, no? Of course he knew what he was doing in the process. What kind of Sikhs would we be if we said, " He cant' partake in taking Amrit because HE'S DIFFERENT or he will marry a man rather than a women" ? A sikh of Guru Gobind singh would openly accept him and become the dust of his feet for wanting to give his head to Guru ji. I would say despite everything about a person, taking amrit is about Love and utter belief in God. Bull chaauk maaf if i have said anything wrong. Waheguru ji ka khalsa, Waheguru ji ki fateh
  6. I know this is a super hard instrument but i feel like taus is such a beautiful instrument to learn. Not many people know how to play it so that would make it even more cool to learn how to play! But as you said so many people know how to play vaja so that would be a great choice for learning options. Usually people are drawn towards certain instruments. What have you always wanted to learn and how much time can you devote to learning something new. Hope you enjoy the choice you make! Waheguru ji ka khalsa Waheguru ji ki fateh

  12. I do know where to turn, My heart loves none, my heart knowns none Minutes pass, then hours, then days. "Where had my thirst dissapeared too?" "Where has my life gone?" "Why did everybody leave me?" There was a knock at my door. "Who could it be?" I whispered to myself They knocked again. I lifted my head from the drenched pillow of anguish Walked towards the door and opened it My eyes filled with sorrow, suddenly looked down The light to much to bear... "You asked, why everyone left you; I thought i would come and show you my dear child, I never left you" He said softly Something deep within me angered me and my blood began to boil "No! You've taken everybody i care about away from me! You just want me to stay with you all the time! But you never show me your face, I've never even seen you until now! Your being selfish!!" He smiled. "Everyday, I wake you up, I take you to the shower, I read gurbani with you, I am teaching you constantly! I'm always here! My face does not dissapear from my body, my child. Rather, you choose to forget me. You had thought I left you! Dear listen carefully, My life is you, you are my life. Everything i do is for your benefit. You sat on your bed and asked me where you life has dissapeared too. It hasn't gone anywhere but only to appear before you and I. Who is the silent listener to your yells, your screams, your tears of sorrow? Who wipes away your tears? Who holds you in his arms during times of anguish? "You do" I said emberassed, with tears in my eyes He held me for what seemed to be forever. I didnt want him to let go. "You know i'll always love you, you are my life. "I know.. " I smiled "I know you do" --------------------- Bull chaauk maaf karnee. Vahegurujikakhalsa Vahegurujikifateh
  13. t'is okay :D i forgive you!
  14. Vahegurujikakhalsa Vahegurujikifateh My definition of a Sikh: Most people would say, "Your not a Sikh until you have taken Amrit". In some ways i agree but at the same time there are so many Amritdharri's out there but they dont have that love, that devotion, that faith like Gursikhs do. I agree that giving your head to Satguru Ji's is a huge step but then if you dont maintain that love within your self; who are you trying to kid? A true Sikh loves his Guru. A true Sikh sees' all Ten Masters within Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. A true Sikh never abandones Satguru Ji at Amritveylaa. A true Sikh never forget's the Creator of all Creations. A true Sikh continues to say Vaheguru's Name with every breath and morsel of Food. A true Sikh will rise in the early portion of the morning, take bath and recite his Name. A true Sikh will give his head to Guru Saahib such as did the five punj piyaarey. A true Sikh will always remain in his home of Saach Kaand. A true Sikh will learn Gurbani Kirtan. A true Sikh will love Guru Saahib more than anyone in the whole world. gurisKW min hir pRIiq hY guru pUjx Awvih ] gurasikhaa man har preeth hai gur poojun aavehi The minds of the Gursikhs are filled with the love of the Lord; they come and worship the Guru. hir nwmu vxMjih rMg isau lwhw hir nwmu lY jwvih ] har naam vununjehi rung sio laahaa har naam lai jaavehi They trade lovingly in the Lord's Name, and depart after earning the profit of the Lord's Name. gurisKw ky muK aujly hir drgh Bwvih ] gurasikhaa kae mukh oujulae har dhurugeh bhaavehi The faces of the Gursikhs are radiant; in the Court of the Lord, they are approved. guru siqguru bohlu hir nwm kw vfBwgI isK gux sWJ krwvih ] gur sathigur bohul har naam kaa vuddubhaagee sikh gun saajh kuraavehi The Guru, the True Guru, is the treasure of the Lord's Name; how very fortunate are the Sikhs who share in this treasure of virtue. iqnw gurisKw kMau hau vwirAw jo bhidAw auTidAw hir nwmu iDAwvih ]11] thinaa gurasikhaa kuno ho vaariaa jo behadhiaa outhadhiaa har naam dhiaavehi I am a sacrifice to those Gursikhs who, sitting and standing, meditate on the Lord's Name. ||11|| Bull chaak maauf karnee Vaheugrujikakhalsa Vahegurujikifateh p.s- Gursikhi is a lifestyle not a religion.
  15. Gursikhs can do simran with 100% concentration while carrying on with a Grishti Lifestyle! Jio, i dont know if your trying to argue with me but the fact of the matter is we dont live in caves and i dont think guru ji will get angry with us if we have a litle harmless fun! Guruji has said: anudh binodh choj thumaasae thudh bhaavai so honaa jeeo Bliss, joyful celebrations, wondrous plays and entertainment-whatever pleases You, comes to pass. ||2|| jis dhaa dhithaa subh kish lainaa Everything we receive is a gift from Him Smile, enjoy, have fun but dont forget your Father, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Jee !
