http://qz.com/464365/punjab-has-lost-nearly-12000-civilians-to-terrorist-attacks-since-1981/ this article cracked me up quite a bit. someone needs to do a similar article talking about how many civilian lives were lost under the various government-sponsored operations. overall, i think this incident will recirculate pre-exisiting misconceptions in the media about the sikh freedom movement and punjab's past. quite a shame.
