It is ok to paint gurbani but  gurbani written on anything (paper, clothes etc) should be kept with utmost respect and should not be thrown away. It should be aganbhet with proper maryaada or dropped at local gurudwara (gurughar).

Right move done by canadian sangat and gurudwara committees especially after these Indian Govt. agents and spies had problems with "Khalistan Zindabad" or "Sikh Homeland" writings in these gurudwaras.

Indira had very well planned the attack on Harmandar Sahib not because of Sant ji only but to teach sikh minority a lesson for asking Sikh rights and equality from Indian Govt.

I think you can do jal parwah (in the flowing water) in the  river, canal or creek.

And there are Hindu Govt. undercover agents in canada, usa and other western countries who are working tirelessly against sikhs to damage our image as a community in front of western world. Recent examples are the attempts being made to spoil the leadership campaign of Jagmeet Singh.

I agree with Akalifauj.

Translation to other languages leads to distortion of Guru's true message.
