    ye, Mann and Bittu are the only hope for Khalistan we got today (out of the Seniors anyway). They should have finished that pappi Badal off right there on Sight...

    Mr Badal alleged that Mr Mann had repeated the acts of his ‘‘nana’’ (maternal grandfather Aroor Singh who had honoured General O’Dyer at Akal Takht after the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Mr Mann said he had already sought unconditional apology from the Sikh panth for the acts of his grandfather and maintained that, ‘‘Mr Badal had not tendered any apology on behalf of his grandfather, Fateh Singh, who had allegedly added poison in water during Jaiton Morcha’’.

    I Think Mann forgot to mention where Badal's "zidhi" land came from...Badal blames Simranjit Singh Mann's Nana (meternal Grandfather) for working for the British and giving Dyre a sarropa, which Mann and APPOLIGISED FOR, BUT WHAT ABOUT BADAL?

    Badal's FATHER was a traitor who was also an Agent of the British at that Time, all the Marabe's (100's of acres of land) Badal's got is only because Badals FATHER gave the where-about's of Babar Akali's (the real guy's doing Maharaj Ji's seva) to the British Army. And Badal follow's on from him...playing around with Maharaj Ji's Bakshia Akal Takht like its some kind of Joke...and helping that Nirankari Gurbaksh escape after killing so many Sikhs and disrespecting our living Guru's saroop.

    FORGET BADAL APPOLAGISING FOR HIS GRANDFARTHERS ACTS, HE HAS YET HIS FARTHERS AND HIS OWN ACTS TO APPOLIGISE FOR!

    NO JATHA OR SGPC HAS THE RIGHTS WHAT-SO-EVER TO STOP ANY OTHER KHALSA JI GIVING A SPEACH AND SHARING HIS VIEWS.

    How can you be so sure that YOUR a true singh, just because your display names Nihang doesn't make you a Nihang.

    A Nihang means erm...Nir Hang...Nir meaning No...and Hang meaning Honkar (pride), and ofcourse Nihang in Persian means crocodile, our Guru Ji gave us this name...dont mis-use it. Nihang = Prideless/Crocodile

    You are full of False Pride 'nihung', how can you say that those who have not took amrit are not Sikhs. How much bani do you understand? how much Gurumukhi can you read or write?...if you could do what you just mentioned, you would not be slandering anyone in such a dirty way...

    You make such a JOKE out of yourself, change your Username...

    In re: Distortion of Sikh History in Indian Books'

    Dear Capt Singh:

    Regarding 'Distortion of Sikh History in Indian Books', on Sunday 11th of June 2006, the Panthic Weekly (News Bureau) quoted Milan Kundera as saying, "The first step in liquidating a people is to erase its memory. Destroy its books, its culture, its history, Then have somebody write new books, manufacture a new culture, invent a new history. Before long the nation will begin to forget what it is and what it was. The world around it will forget even faster……The struggle of man against power is the struggle of memory against forgetting."

    Sikh organizations worldwide, the weekly has rightly felt, stand united and resolute in protest against the blatant and systematic distortion of Sikh history in elementary and high school history textbooks by the RSS and other Hindu extremist groups. Sikhs along with other minority communities including Christians, Muslims and Jains have become victims of a massive government organized campaign to spread false and distorted information about these minority communities in an attempt to homogenize them into the construct of one religion, one language, one land of Hindus: Hindu, Hindi, Hindustan. And despite the protests and peaceful pleas from the Sikh community and various other minority groups, the government continues to allow and in fact supports the publishing of this false information about these religious groups.

    Just recently, the National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT) published a history on 'Medieval India' to be used in the high school curriculum. In this, Professor Satish Chandra of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi wrote that Guru Tegh Bahadar Ji was a 'looter and a rapist' and that Guru Sahib became a martyr not in the name of the freedom to practice religion but because Chandra claims Guru Sahib 'was a criminal.' When the Sikh minority expressed their grievances with this gross historical fallacy, Chandra defended his work by saying that he used a 'credible Persian source' albeit that this source was written over a century after Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji's Shaheedi. When questioned about the erroneous points that he presented in the text he said that he wanted to provide a 'constructive interpretation of tradition.'

    Unfortunately, Congress Party leader Sonia Gandhi expressed support for Chandra's work despite protests from the Sikh minority. The book is full of numerous other historical fallacies about the Sikh Guru Sahibans with false information saying that Guru Nanak Sahib 'renounced the world', that Guru Gobind Singh Ji was a 'worshipper of Hindu Goddess Chandi' and that Sikhi is 'a part of the Hindu movement,' the Panthic weekly adds.

    Another history textbook titled 'History of Punjab Part II' which is full of historical fallacies and objectionable material about the Sikh Guru Sahibans is now in wide distribution and being implemented in Punjab school curricula. The book makes multiple flagrant distortions of Sikh history calling Baba Budha Ji 'a thief,' and portraying Guru Hargobind Sahib as a person of immoral character. Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji is termed as an 'oppressor' while Guru Gobind Singh Ji is presented as a weak hearted person and a worshipper of the Hindu Goddess Durga. Numerous other perversions of history are presented in this book which is being used in the syllabi throughout Punjab and in several other states, the weekly further adds.

    We, therefore, in IHRO call upon the concerned authorities, including you as CM of Punjab, to ensure that such historical distortions are not permitted in the future and to undo the mistakes and approve books with proper scholastic research in future. We also call upon you as Home Minister to prosecute the guilty authors and publishers for all these wrong doings.

    and now for the last 40 years sikhs have been fighting for chandigarh as the capital of pUnjab. most likely they will divide chandigarh amongst punjab and haryana.

    who's fighting for it??? Badal and Amrinder ain't...its only the Public that are protesting for it...

    Badal and Amrinder are just to busy grabing vote's for their hindu fellow's...they use events like Guru Ji's Matyrdom Samagam's for grabbing votes in the name of Guru Ji for some party that backs RSS facists or some Party that favours backs the Indian Army against Innocent Sikh's...

    People say that its good that the SAD and SKD have allied, but fail to relise that the party that there voting for use SAD and SKD as a joke' to gain Sikh vote and back Hindu propoganda when they win. by the way, when you go to India and your stuck in some kind of immigration/or visa problem, try paying a visit to Badal's house and ask his wife to tell Badal to help you out...she speaks for no little than 10 Lakhs!

    What people fail to understand in India is that a Sikh should be Party Less and not believe in these Proponganda's using the name of Akali or Khalsa in their parties just to get votes...

    a True Singhs party is Vaheguru ji's Khalsa and nothing else...

    because when it comes down to fighting sikhs are number one, when it comes time for politics, our leaders do a "number two" in their pajamas. Gandhi said partition would happen over his dead body, well as usual it was good rehetoric but no bite. The congress party gave punjab away like a cheap sale at your local Walmart to Jinnah. If they had their way they probably would have given amritsar also to pakistan but i guess then our leaders said, oh wait can we keep this?

    Sikhs didn't give it to Jannah, Master Tara Singh did (a Congressi Nehru dah Poodle). Jannah asked if Master Tara Singh could meet him, and told Master Tara Singh not to get lallachi (greedy) over what Nehru 'promise to offer you' if you for not claiming Sikh Land, but Master Tara Singh ignored him and decided to follow Nehru because he didn't want to loose his 'Mill's' he had been owning in other parts of India....even after so much warning from Muslim's and the British

    Jannah wanted a Khalsa State between India and Pakistan, to act as a strong armed barrier between Muslim and Hindu nation. This had benefits for both, Sikhs (as they could know claim their Khalsa Raj back) and Muslims (Pakistan did not have to worry about any Hindu's trying to attack them or 'claim' Pakistani Land back). Nehru was a kootha, he was worried that if this happened, India will starve and Sikh's will become a Superpower in Asia, and he always wanted Punjab to be ruled by Hindu's so he carried on Bribing Tara Singh...

  12. Khalsa Schools

    I think Khalsa Schools are not a bad idea as long as the reputation and the education of the School are kept at high standards.

    I mean everyone knows that some Commities nowaday's collect around about 1/2 million each year in the name of Gurdwara Sahib and Seva...and for that they get an extra 32% from the council! ...where does this money all go...the heads get some top range mercedes and bmw's and out of nowhere he has 5 house's he owns (mentioning no names)...

    Why dont they spend that money on making a Khalsa School outside town in about 5/6 acres, and hire high quality teachers and keep the school to a high quality and teach the students some good dissiplain, so people from other faiths want to join the school because it's the biggest and the best one around...

    plus, openning Khalsa Schools means that children can be taught Sikhi by the age of 5 and taught whats good and whats not.

    but as Golee Maro and Others mentioned, there are bad sides to it as well such as the lack of Socialising etc.

    It's part of the greater scheme to dimish Sikhi. Just recently the Supreme Court of India reaffirmed the old definition of Sikhism as being part of the Hindu Faith.

    another reason for Khalistan...

    How after 500 years of sikh history do textbooks in India still not know about sikh history?! Enough is enough, eventually people have to wake up and see that these things are not just accidents but rather intentional attacks on our religious heritage and pride.

    must admit, these Hindu's think well ahead of time...

    since India has been created, Hindu's have tried to distort Sikh History and Heritage and even suppported anti-Sikh organisations like Rashtrya Sikh Sangat and Nirankari's, even providing them with Massive weapon cache's and legalising these real terrorists..not only that but any information regarding Khalsa raj has been eliminated out of text books in India, at one time everyone used to know that over half of the land India has got now was once Maharaj Ranjit Singhs territory, even Southern Tibet and Kashmir, and you ask anyone know they have no idea at all...

    Seriously, we need IMMEDIATE ACTION!

    if Sikhs in India start to listen to some Sh*ty RSS explanation of our Mahapursh Guru's then Sikhi will soon become a part of Sanatnism...

    its all a Hindu thing to get people away from the truth of SIkhi and start listening to the Mustande Bahman Goverment of India...

    and another thing,

    without Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, all these Kuthe Mustande's that call themselves Brahmin's would have been some curcumsized Suni muslims living in Pakistan...

    Apparently, y'day on Alpha Sant Singh Maskeen mentioned in his katha that at Hazur Sahib, the Nagare were beating by themselves for some time. Sant Singh wanted to see this for himself, and he witnessed it too!! d_oh.gif He said it was devtai who were playing them as they wanted to be born in human form, and so Singh ji said that when they get their wish, the nagarai will stop. And so shortly after, they did stop!! wow! Does anybody have more info on this?

    Sant Singh ji led such an amazing life, witnessing many amazing things, can't wait to read his biography!

    He was talking about Spirits etc... i think he said that a very wise puratan baba had died and his soul remained at Hazur Sahib because it was seeking a mother, sant ji explained, a spirit when it dies seeks a mother with the same sanskar as itself when it dies. Sant ji also explained how a good spirit does not do bad things, instead it tries to make itself heard to others and thats why it continued doing seva and playing the nagarai...Sant ji mentioned he visited the place after 4 years and the Nagarai had stopped because the Spirit had found a mother with the same wise and gurmukh sanskar... pray.gif

    I dont know where JKD is taught in Kent but JKD itself is not a style or a system, it is a concept that Bruce Lee used to combine all his experience and style's he learned in Martial Arts (ie...Kickboxing, Jiujustsu, and various Kung Fu styles) through practise's and drills and sparring...so its wiser to learn a system of martial arts before studying JKD (a good combination I use is Kickboxing and Gatka)
