i used to go gurdwara everyday as its like a 5min walk from my house, you can see the nishan sahib from my bedroom ,and tescoes is just near by so i used to buy milk, suger and tea for langar. i got sad .   i hope they open it again soon    

yh its really upsetting, lots of the London Smaagams cancelled too. At least Basics of Sikhi are doing daily live videos which is great.

Imagine a marriage where the Groom and Bride go on the streets with their family and everyone who attended the Anand Kaaraj to do seva on the streets by serving langar. 

I have no idea what is wrong with these people but something needs to be done about what they say and how they preach Sikhi. They've already been banned from Gurdware and use the excuse that we follow false Babe and that they are the enlighted rational thinkers who are here to save Sikhi from us. 

Here's them trying to be "rational" about the aftelife.

Here's them completely neglecting the whole Gurmat Karam philosophy and past lives using the caste system, destiny and oppression as a scapegoat to promote their thinking:

My question what should we do? they have 200k subs compared to Basics with 143k. How do we go about stopping their koor prachar? 

I'm not even sure if at this point they accept that Guru Nanak Dev ji is divine and sent from Vaheguru himself.

I watched the documentary and it barely presented the Anand Kaaraj properly. It had too many scenes with protests without actually showing our side too.

If you ever get un urge just think about Sri Guru Granth Sahib Maharaaj and that Guru Sahib knows what you're doing. Since Maharaaj is Haazar then you will be less likely to anything wrong

Hanji, these people don't even have faith in Gurbani fully. They don't believe in reincarnation, they believe in nature being in God whereas if you read Gurbaani that's not the case. What should we expect. Their views are not in line with Gurmat so it's good there's a ban. It's saves us from hearing their views and allows to actually hear what Guru Sahib wanted us to know.

Look at world history. There has not been 10 such figures like our Gurus coming one by one, with the same message, living the message and fighting for the truth. I think Vaheguru ji made 10 (11 if you count Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji Maharaj or 12 for Guru Khalsa Panth too) so that we don't we don't doubt Maharaj's authority. So that we know that this is a miracle in and of itself that 10 Great beings came all doing amazing things and wasn't just some random events.

the atheist may ask why couldn't Vaheguru ji just have made us know instantly from one Guru that they are messenger of the truth and teach only the truth. Well the answer here is that those who saw even one of our Gurus for seconds were transformed. By just hearing about Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib ji's Shaheedi we're amazed and that's just 1 of the Gurus.

And Also this is a game if love and not math or code with 0s and 1s. Sikhi is journey and getting the love for it needs you to actually go out of your way and find out how great the Gurus are yourself. The fact that 10 came, one by one enables us to have the prem for all the virtues displayed by the Guru even though they are unending.

Hanji, here is the book called Taajudin's diary about Taajudin who stayed with Guru Maharaj for 2 years and travelled from Baghdad to Mecca with Guru Ji. Syed Prithipaal Singh ji found the diary in a library.

In the year 1510 AD, Taajudin Naqshbandi, a Persian/Arabic writer met Guru Nanak Dev ji during his journey through the Middle East. After taking a leave from Guru ji, Taajudin deposited the manuscript in a library in Medina.

In the year 1927, Mushtaq Hussein a young man from Kashmir, while studying as a moulvi in Medina came across Taajudin's manuscript. The manuscript changed Mushtaq's life, and he converted to Sikhism and and went on to become famous as Sant Syed Prithipal Singh. While in the Middle East, Mushtaq visited several places built in the memory of the Guru and spoke to Arabs who were still Guru ji's Sikhs. The book ‘Taajudin’s Diary’ is based on the unpublished autobiography of Sant Ji. The book retraces the transformational journeys of Taajudin and Mushtaq Hussein following in the footsteps of the great Guru. This remarkable must-read book references historical documents and monuments little-known in Sikhism. The appendices in this book also contain information on lesser-known travels of Guru Ji in Nepal and Himalayas.

A disciple who walks one step towards Guru to take his refuge and goes to him with devotion and humility, Guru advances to receive him (devotee) by taking million steps.

I am a 34 year old male from Canada. I was brought up in household were my parents believe in radhasoami path. I married my wife who's parents are amrit dhari. I by my own accord do not not believe in the radhasoami path. I have been going to the gurdwara on and off through out my life. I have been going quite often the last month or two. My situation is I am married with two beautiful daughters. I have extreme paranoia and fear of being hurt. I always see the same cars following me or sitting outside my house. She dosent believe me and gets frustrated with me. I have been listening to path and trying to do the path I know in my head all day. She says guru ji is with you and everything is written, which you can't change. I have prayed and begged and pleaded for help with waheguru. There has not bee any change in my situation. I just want to know does waheguru have the power to save me and my family. Or do I have to take action myself? I have begged waheguru to show me a path I have cried, I have pleaded. I can't seem to shake the panic and fear of what is going to happen. It's effecting my marriage, my life and I don't know what to do anymore. The panic and fear of death everyday has broken me. No matter how hard I try to listen to path, recite path. It helps me only for a few minutes then the fear takes over. Please help with any in sight you can give me.

Daas will share this Saakhi about Guru Arjan Dev ji Maharaaj.

Prithi Chand teamed up with Sulhi Khan to attack Guru Maharaj and the Sikhs. The Sikhs found out and were asked Maharaj what they should do. Someone gave the idea to send letter to keep peace. Someone else was said that there's no time because the attack was incoming so they suggested to send 2 Gursikhs. Guru Sahib didn't say much.  The Sikhs kept begging Guru Sahib for a hukam and then Maharaj gave the hukam to start a Kirtan Darbaar.

ਮੈਸਭੁਕਿਛੁਛੋਡਿਪ੍ਰਭਤੁਹੀਧਿਆਇਆ॥੧॥

But I have renounced everything, and I meditate only on You, God. ||1||

When Sulhi Khan was coming with his army, he fell into this hot oven and was burnt alive.

Maharaj wrote these 2 shabads about what happened.

ਆਸਾਮਹਲਾ੫॥

Aasaa, Fifth Mehla:

ਪ੍ਰਥਮੇਮਤਾਜਿਪਤ੍ਰੀਚਲਾਵਉ॥

First, they advised me to send a letter.

ਦੁਤੀਏਮਤਾਦੁਇਮਾਨੁਖਪਹੁਚਾਵਉ॥

Second, they advised me to send two men.

ਤ੍ਰਿਤੀਏਮਤਾਕਿਛੁਕਰਉਉਪਾਇਆ॥

Third, they advised me to make the effort and do something.

ਮੈਸਭੁਕਿਛੁਛੋਡਿਪ੍ਰਭਤੁਹੀਧਿਆਇਆ॥੧॥

But I have renounced everything, and I meditate only on You, God. ||1||

ਮਹਾਅਨੰਦਅਚਿੰਤਸਹਜਾਇਆ॥

Now, I am totally blissful, carefree and at ease.

ਦੁਸਮਨਦੂਤਮੁਏਸੁਖੁਪਾਇਆ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ॥

The enemies and evil-doers have perished, and I have obtained peace. ||1||Pause||

ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿਮੋਕਉਦੀਆਉਪਦੇਸੁ॥

The True Guru has imparted the Teachings to me.

ਜੀਉਪਿੰਡੁਸਭੁਹਰਿਕਾਦੇਸੁ॥

My soul, body and everything belong to the Lord.

ਜੋਕਿਛੁਕਰੀਸੁਤੇਰਾਤਾਣੁ॥

Whatever I do, is by Your Almighty Power.

ਤੂੰਮੇਰੀਓਟਤੂੰਹੈਦੀਬਾਣੁ॥੨॥

You are my only Support, You are my only Court. ||2||

ਤੁਧਨੋਛੋਡਿਜਾਈਐਪ੍ਰਭਕੈਂਧਰਿ॥

If I were to renounce You, God, unto whom could I turn?

ਆਨਨਬੀਆਤੇਰੀਸਮਸਰਿ॥

There is no other, comparable to You.

ਤੇਰੇਸੇਵਕਕਉਕਿਸਕੀਕਾਣਿ॥

Who else is Your servant to serve?

ਸਾਕਤੁਭੂਲਾਫਿਰੈਬੇਬਾਣਿ॥੩॥

The faithless cynics are deluded; they wander around in the wilderness. ||3||

ਤੇਰੀਵਡਿਆਈਕਹੀਨਜਾਇ॥

Your Glorious Greatness cannot be described.

ਜਹਕਹਰਾਖਿਲੈਹਿਗਲਿਲਾਇ॥

Wherever I am, you save me, hugging me close in Your embrace.

ਨਾਨਕਦਾਸਤੇਰੀਸਰਣਾਈ॥

Nanak, Your slave, has entered Your Sanctuary.

ਪ੍ਰਭਿਰਾਖੀਪੈਜਵਜੀਵਾਧਾਈ॥੪॥੫॥

God has preserved his honor, and congratulations are pouring in. ||4||5||

ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁਮਹਲਾ੫॥
Bilaaval, Fifth Mehla:
ਸੁਲਹੀਤੇਨਾਰਾਇਣਰਾਖੁ॥
The Lord saved me from Sulhi Khan.
ਸੁਲਹੀਕਾਹਾਥੁਕਹੀਨਪਹੁਚੈਸੁਲਹੀਹੋਇਮੂਆਨਾਪਾਕੁ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ॥
The emperor did not succeed in his plot, and he died in disgrace. ||1||Pause||
ਕਾਢਿਕੁਠਾਰੁਖਸਮਿਸਿਰੁਕਾਟਿਆਖਿਨਮਹਿਹੋਇਗਇਆਹੈਖਾਕੁ॥
The Lord and Master raised His axe, and chopped off his head; in an instant, he was reduced to dust. ||1||
ਮੰਦਾਚਿਤਵਤਚਿਤਵਤਪਚਿਆਜਿਨਿਰਚਿਆਤਿਨਿਦੀਨਾਧਾਕੁ॥੧॥
Plotting and planning evil, he was destroyed. The One who created him, gave him a push.
ਪੁਤ੍ਰਮੀਤਧਨੁਕਿਛੂਨਰਹਿਓਸੁਛੋਡਿਗਇਆਸਭਭਾਈਸਾਕੁ॥
Of his sons, friends and wealth, nothing remains; he departed, leaving behind all his brothers and relatives.
ਕਹੁਨਾਨਕਤਿਸੁਪ੍ਰਭਬਲਿਹਾਰੀਜਿਨਿਜਨਕਾਕੀਨੋਪੂਰਨਵਾਕੁ॥੨॥੧੮॥੧੦੪॥
Says Nanak, I am a sacrifice to God, who fulfilled the word of His slave. ||2||18||104||

From this we can see that there is no need to worry because Maharaaj is protecting his Sikhs everywhere and I think whenever you feel fearful then you remember that Guru Sahib ji is with you.
