So Waheguru is judgmental,  it just depends on what your actions are.

So saying Waheguru is non-judgmental,  is a false statement.

Sorry if i have said anything wrong.

I wouldn't say judgemental as in oh this person looks like this so I don't like him or whatever.

Waheguru judges to the truth, it's because of our falsehood why we get judged. If we have Paaps in us would we be able to get Sachkhand because their your getting Darshan of Waheguru ji? And Waheguru is pure and pavitar, he has no sins. When have and do no sins then we don't need to get judged, our Lekha has been removed and Dharam Raj can't judge us.

This is where i confused , you say God is non-judgmental,  however if I do wrong things in this life or if I think about women on my death bed,  I will be reincarnated as a pig. So there has to be some form of judgement.

Waheguru is without fear and without hate, he loves his children. But if we're going to go against his wishes then we're creating bad karma which is going to be judged and bring us back to this world. But if we remember Waheguru and follow the Guru's way then we won't need to be judged.

The second meditation, is where u dont try to quiet ur mind. The job of mind is to think like hearts is to pump. So instead u make the mind think of something. And use a primordial sound like mantar. And this is faster than mindfulness to get bliss and easier. This is the simran in sikhi. With the mantar waheguru.

U should check her out. She explains how mefitation is better than mindfulness.

Its sad tho that we others r learning from our heritage though we r not.

No meditation or mindfulness is anything compared to Waheguru Simran and Bani. Guru Sahib gives proper Anand whereas these mediation techniques may just clear your mind for a while and that's it.

I love Gurbani Calligraphy it looks so beautiful. I want to learn to write some Gurbani (a Pothi Sahib/Gutka  Sahib) one day too.

The longer version of Rehras Sahib have these 2 Shabads about writing Gurbani

    Shalok, First Mehla:

Blessed is the paper, blessed is the pen, blessed is the inkwell, and blessed is the ink.

Blessed is the writer, O Nanak, who writes the True Name. ||1||

    First Mehla:

You Yourself are the writing tablet, and You Yourself are the pen. You are also what is written on it.

Speak of the One Lord, O Nanak; how could there be any other? ||2||

  8. This Shabad by Bhagat Trilochan ji tells us what we think of before we pass away means a lot. As Gursikhs we should remember Akaal Purakh as much as we can:

    Goojaree:

At the very last moment, one who thinks of wealth, and dies in such thoughts,

shall be reincarnated over and over again, in the form of serpents. ||1||

O sister, do not forget the Name of the Lord of the Universe. ||Pause||

At the very last moment, he who thinks of women, and dies in such thoughts,

shall be reincarnated over and over again as a prostitute. ||2||

At the very last moment, one who thinks of his children, and dies in such thoughts,

shall be reincarnated over and over again as a pig. ||3||

At the very last moment, one who thinks of mansions, and dies in such thoughts,

shall be reincarnated over and over again as a goblin. ||4||

At the very last moment, one who thinks of the Lord, and dies in such thoughts,

If you take refuge in the True Guru and do Simran it will alter your karams Guru Sooli the Sool bana ke karam badle da hai.

You have free will to all karams but these are the seeds you sow and reap later. As Gurbani says “Ape beej ape he khaau”

We should all learn how Karams work and what Gurbani says about them. I never knew about the 3 types of karam.

Sikhs are not allowed to dye their hair. It's disrespectful and counts as a Bajjar Kurhet (on the Sikh Rehat Maryada).

    Gurbani is naam,

    Vaho Vaho Bani Nirankar Hai

Bani Guru Guru Hai Bani Vich Bani Amrit Sare

Bani is still Naam and will help you to swim across but we should also do Simran as well.

I'm sure I've heard that term as a child but I don't think it has Sikh provenance. The concept of Waheguru being all pervasive or omnipresent seems to exclude this. Then this makes me think about Sachkhand as mentioned in Japji Sahib. Sachkhand can't be an actual physical place where Waheguru resides (because of the omnipresence thing) - it must mean something else.

Actually Waheguru is in Sach Khand and it is a physical place (not material) but physical in the sense that we are able to reside there if we follow Guru Sahib and imbue ourselves with Naam and Bani.

Watch this video and also read Bhai Sahib Bhai Randhir Singh ji's book called Sach Khand Darshan, he explains in detail that the Khands are physical realms.

Just like how the sun's rays hit Earth even though it is 93 million miles away, Waheguru ji's light pervades and permeates all creation. That's how he is every present (there's more in the video near the end but watch all of it).

Humility is the protection fence that guards your spiritual wealth.

None of the 5 special virtues should be limited.

Look at Sri Chand he is the son of Dhan Dhan Guru Nanak Dev Ji himself.

Now 5th Guru of Sri Chands fathers religious institutions meets Sri Chand, but gets his long beard and cleans Sri Chands feet.

If someone tries to exploit your humbleness then you should be aware and have caution.

THE FAULT ISNT IN HUMILITY IF YOU CHOOSE TO BE PUSHED AROUND

Wasn't it Sri Guru Raam Daas ji Maharaaj Who did said I have long beard to clean the feet of saints like you?

Sri Chand replied, after hearing Guru Sahib's humility, this is why you are where you are - the Takhat of Guru Nanak Dev ji Maharaaj.

Another beautiful Sakhi is when Guru Amar Das ji Maharaaj became the Guru, Guru Angad Dev Ji Maharaaj's son went up to Guru Sahib and said something like you don't deserve to have this throne. And then he kicked Guru Sahib. Guru Sahib in his utmost humility, said how blessed I am to be touching the feet of my Guru's son. Then he starting rubbing the feet of the son and said I must have hurt you, my bones are old.

I think the story of Guru Hargobind building a mosque for Muslims is pretty dubious. I doubt there is any evidence for this. Before Guru Hargobind founded Sri Hargobindpur, the previous Guru had founded other cities and yet in none of these did they built mosques. Kartarpur Sahib, Tarn Taran, Amritsar, Kiratpur Sahib and then Anandpur Sahib by the Gurus after Guru Hargobind. If there is any truth to the story then it relates to some particular context because if it was something that Sikhs needed to do then the other Gurus would have done the same thing. There is no doubt there are mosques in all the cities founded by the Gurus but these are there because Muslims settled in these cities and built these mosques. Its probably the same with the mosque at Sri Hargobindpur.

I think there is evidence and it is called Guru Ki Maseet. Maharaaj is Daya De Ghar and I wouldn't doubt that he did. He didn't care what religion you were. Just follow Waheguru ji with all your heart.
