  1. Do the Singhs from Tarna Dal believe in Snatanism too?

what do you mean snatanism? can you please clarify?

I think you meant snatanism being - lineage of samparda(orders- taksal, nirmale, sevapanthis, udasi, nihangs), oral & spiritual traditions, sant/scholars/warriors being knight of the panth, Bikrami Calendar, Ithasik granths(soraj parkash, panth parkash, rehitnamas) jathedar in the dal/dera, acknowledging the devi's and devta's did exist(nothing less and nothing more), more than one interpertation of gurbani, beleive in Guru Nanak dev ji being Sargun roop of Vahiguroo (Guru Avtar), beleive and accept sri dasam patsah autiobiography- bachitar natak, beleive in sri guru granth sahib(including ragmalla, sri dasam and sri sarbloh granth sahib (pay full reverence to it), vidya like- raag vidya, bachan vidya, shastar vidiya, accepting rituals like- dhoof, cocunut, shastar poja, arti-arta.

If above things listed by me qualifies as snatan by you then i would yes- Tarna Dal pretty much beleive in snatan/puratan (whatever label you wish to give ) maryada because tarna is also puratan samparda dal interlinked with budda dal coming from guru's time.

    Namstang bhaji

i know Snatan can also be interpreted as meaning puratan and that is how u have interpreted it but when i meant Snatan i meant that Sikhi is apart of the 'ocean' of Hinduism, they acknowldege there is a difference between Hinud's at large and Sikhs, yet beilieve that Idols of Devi/Devte should be brought back into our Gurdwara's etc

Snatan means puratan, but some have taken puratan to be a direct reference to Hinduism since it is a very old belief system. i was refering to this meaning of Snatanism

  2. i know very little about Tarna Dal, i hope some1 can shed some light about them

i'v seen a pic of Baba Jarnail Singh Bhinderanwale & Baba Nihal Singh, but wanted to know does the Tarna Dal Jatha at large consider the Shaheeds of 78 - 90's as terrorists? cause the video about Little Joga Singh Nihung (on google video) had the Singh referring to the Shaheeds in a not so positive light.

See, im a bit confused about Nihungs, from my knowledge the Nihungs of Budha Dal are Snatanists..i cud be wrong, as it may be only a few but thats the impression i get...

Do the Singhs from Tarna Dal believe in Snatanism too?
