  1. I don't think anyone here is comparing sri krishan ji or sri ram chandar ji- hari avtars with our GURU AVTAR- SATGURU NANAK DEV NIRANKAR. Despite of shortcoming of sri krishan ji , he is in sachkhand. Sant Hari Singh Ji Randhawale (along with other sikh saints- sant jagjit singh ji harkhowale etc ) clearly said is on record saying krishan ji is in sachkhand, sunny veer for the sake of upholding the truth, please post the recording if you can when we met sant ji.

    Anyway, i can't be arsed with this topic anymore..hehe..i m gone on vacation today for three weeks-hurraayyyyyyyyyyyy, happy naam simran everyone..!!

    With all due respect to Sant Hari Singh Jee and Sant Jagjit Singh Harkowale and I do respect their opinions...but just becuase they say something, it doesn't automatically mean that it is Sat. Their opnions can't just be discarded...that i do admit though!

    And I admit, i could be wrong about Sri Krishan Bhagvaan but for me the only question that just doen't make sense is 'If Sri Krishan Bhagvaan is in Sachkhand, then surely the path (marg) he initiated must be Sat. Then why did Guru Sahib create a new marg? Why didn't Guru Sahib just not come to reinstill the maryada of Sri Krishan Bhagavan? Why does Guru Sahib denounce the 4 Castes that are propogagted by the Veda's. The same caste system Sri Ram Chandar lived by religiously...even to the extent where he killed a low-caste man because he was considered unworthy to recite the Hindu mantra's. Surely Guru Sahib should have promoted the very same caste system then as it was promoted by Sri Ram Chandar etc?

    All Brahamgianni's may have different maryada's but all have the same sidhants...but here Guru Sahib clearly has different sidant to the Hindu Gods...the caste system being just one of many'

    It just doesn't add upto me!

  2. I asked Sant Hari Singh Randawe Wale "Did Sri Krishan Bhagvan and Sri Raam Chandra have ghatta(n) (ie did they have shortcomings)?"

    Sant Hari Singh replied "Yes they did have ghatta(n) (shortcomings)"

    I then asked "Do our Sikh Guru Sahibs have ANY ghatta(n) (shortcomings)?"

    Sant Hari Singh replied "Our Sikh Guru Sahibs have NO ghatta(n) whatsoever"

    So it's clear just from the above that even Sant Hari Singh is saying they had shortcomings. From this it's simple to deduce that Sri Raam Chandar or Sri Krishan Bhagvan could have made some mistakes or bad judgement calls throughout their lives but our Guru Sahibs could never!

  3. When ever India wants to get away with attacking the sikhs they always put a SO CALLED SIKH on the front line . i.e. they claim the writer of the sketch was a Sikh .... My answer to this was KPS Gill claims to also be a sikh but he butchered an entire generation of our naujwan !!! Before i could get this in they cut me off..

    Another person that everyone the world over knows is, Saddam Hussein. Was Saddam Hussein not a Muslim yet he killed so many Muslims?

    Somewhere He hath created millions of the worms like Krishna. Somewhere He hath effaced and then created (many) like Rama.

    Sri Dasam Granth - Ang 98

    Now some have done arth of this pangtee by translating the world 'Keet' as servant instead of worm. But if you look at Mahan Kosh the word 'Keet' is translated as insect/worm. Also in Sri Japjee Sahib Jee the word 'Keet' is also used as insect/worm.

    keettaa a(n)dhar keett kar dhosee dhos dhharae ||

    Among worms, you would be considered a lowly worm, and even contemptible sinners would hold you in contempt.

    Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee - Ang 2

    sun galaa aakaas kee keettaa aaee rees ||

    Hearing of the etheric realms, even worms long to come back home.

    Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee - Ang 7

    If Sri Krishan Bhagvan is in Sachkhand then why would Guru Sahib rather than praise him, use such language for Sri Krishan Bhagvan who is a Pooran Brahmgianni? Can you ever see Guru Sahib using such language for Baba Budha Jee or Bhai Gurdaas Jee?

  5. While Sant Gurbachan Singh Jee was a vidiarthee of Sant Sunder Singh Bhindranwale, Sant Gurbachan Singh Jee in confidence went to Sant Sunder Singh and said that after doing immense kamai he (Sant Gurbachan Singh Jee) now see's millions of Sri Krishan Bhagwans everywhere he looks.

    Sant Sunder Singh Jee smiled and said, don't be distracted by this, this is a nishanee that your are progressing in your avastha but you have only reached Karam Khand avastha as that's where Sri Krishan Bhagvaan resides. Sant Sunder Singh told him to continue to focus only on doing his Bani and Simran as his destination should only be Sach Khand.

    On a side note, i asked Sant Hari Singh Randave wale a question while i drove Sant Jee to London about 1 yr ago. The question was "Are Sri Raam Chandar Jee & Sri Krishan Bhagvaan on the same level as Sri Guru Nanak Dev Jee Maharaaj"

    Sant Hari Singh said "They had great kamai but no-one can ever be on the level of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Jee Maharaaj"

  6. I spoke with a Gursikh and he advised me that there are 3 ways to move forward in Punjab

    1) Outright reject to have any links or association with any Poilitical Party and reject their legal system - Bhai Amrik Singh Ajnala (DDT)

    2) Join the currently existing parties and try to bring about change from within - Bhai Harnaam Singh Dhumma

    3) refuse to associate with either party but pursue justice through the legal system - Navkiran Singh (Human Right Lawyer)

    Above are 3 different approaches and i've listed only one example i feel fits that example.

    Now which of these 3 approaches is the best approach? Had i been asked a few years back i would have said 1) outright rejection but now that i've lived alittle and i'm a bit more of a realist, i beleive that we actually need all 3 approaches. That's just how politics works!

  7. i personally don't think the Jathedar of the Sri Akhal Takhat Sahib today is to blame for not having the authority/power to lead the panth. I personally think it's ALL of our fault as if we as a panth were strong, no Badal would have the guts to try to control the Jathedaar. It's becuase of us, we have Badal who controls the Jathedaar.

    The responsibility lies alot closer to home...but it's always earier to point fingers at others. If the panth is not in good times, we're to blame but the good news is that we the panth are also the solution too! For me, t's just a matter of how long we're going to keep pointing fingers and not actually do anything?

  8. Does anyone know where i can find out about facts and figures aboutthe punjab economy today. Things such as:

    - How much revenue in Tax does the centre get and what % of the total tax collected by the centre is distributed back into Punjab? How does this compares with other states?

    -Which other states in India have the centre controlling their rivers and hydrel power?

    - How much monetary investment is taking place in Punjab in comparison with other states?

    - Are the average Punjabi's being taxed at a higher rates when compared to other states?

    Please let me know if anyone knows where i can gest access to this information and more?

  9. I agree with TavPrasad Singh about this won't get resolved unless the local sangat step up.

    Also, education is key, educate the young by getting invlovled in punjabi schools ourselves and implementing Sikhi, they will take over the gurdwara's in the future. This is a long-term plan and won't yield results over night...but it's the only lsolution to rid our Gurwara's of this bakwaas. Look how many decades of education it took before the panth woke up and then went onto to morchae and prevented the maha-beadbi taking place under the control of the mahants in 1880's+.

    Like i say, education it's a long term solution which we need to start heavily investing in now...so while the morchae should still continue, it's through education we will actually be able to rid our Gurdwara's of these beadbi's once and for all.

  10. http://www.punjabnew...h-bahadur/49297

    in the above article there is a poem by Rabindranath Tagore about Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Jee's Shaheedi...it's been translated into english. The portion that is of interest is highlighted below in red. I always thougt Baba Banda Singh Bahadur refused to kill his own son...but the below says he did...anyone know if the below passage is correct according to Sikh Itihaas?

    The Mughals and Sikhs together kicked up

    the dust of Delhi thoroughfares;

    Who will offer his life first?

    There was a rush to settle this;

    In the morning hundreds of heroes

    offered heads to the executioner,

    calling "Glory be to Guruji";

    The Kazi put into Banda's lap one of his sons;

    Said... must kill him with own hands;

    Without hesitation, saying nothing,

    slowly Banda pulled the child on his breast;

    Then slowly drawing the knife from the belt, looking at the boy's face,whispered

    "Glory be to Guruji", in the boy's ears.

    The young face beamed;

    The court room shook as the boy sang,

    "Glory be to Guruji;"

    Banda then threw the left arm around his neck

    and with the right plunged the knife into the boy's breast;

    The boy dropped on the ground,

    smiling, saying "Glory be to Guruji".

    The court was dead silent.

    The executioner tore apart Banda's body

    with a pair of red-hot tongs;

    Standing still the hero died,

    not uttering a sound of agony;

    The audience closed their eyes;

    The court was dead silent.
