    Cigarettes Forced In Amritdhari’s Mouth

Ropar Oct 31: Mischievous students at Ropar’s famous IET Bhaddal College today attacked a Sikh student and violated his religious beliefs. 5-6 non-Sikh students entered the Amritdhari student’s room and stuffed cigarettes in his mouth and repeatedly exhaled smoke into his face causing him to vomit. When other students found out about this, they came to help the Amritdhari student, Yadavinder Singh Brar. Yadavinder Singh told reporters that the students also insulted the Sikh faith. When some Sikh students came to help him, and pused the attackers out o fthe room and shut the main gate, the attackers returned with 50-100 other armed students. They gathered outside the hostel and broke doors and windows. Yadavinder Singh said tha the and his companions, Satinderpal Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Harinder Singh and Jaskaran Singh escaped from the Hostel at 5am and arrived at Gurdwara Sri Bhathaa Sahib.

Yadavinder Singh’s friends said that when their other friends were leaving the Hostel in the morning, they were attacked rods and hockey sticks.

Sikh students have gathered at Gurdwara Bhattha Sahib to sympathize with Yadavinder Singh and asked for justice.

  2. Those who follow the teachings of Christ are known as Christians, those who do Hajj, namaz 5 times a day, do sunit are considered followers of Islam. So does it not in accordance to this mean that those who want to be known as Sikh, do as Sikhi prescribes, following the path of Gursikhi set down by our Gurus?

I agree who are we to judge but does not Sahib Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj tell us

    Rehat Bina Na Sikhi Kahavai

That alone answers all and every question as to who is a Sikh

  3. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

I was up in Leeds at weekend for the Smagam in Roundhay Park, and I was under impression that Gatka classes were being held at Chapeltown Gurdwara every Saturday from 7-9, but your poster has no time :)

  4. well done to pardeep his dedication is amazing and im sure he is absolutely great at his sport. Boxing has so much exposure in the world and the movement and hand striking skills are amazing. i heard about the problems he faced but didnt know he is still boxing and obviously doing so well. My chosen fighting path is muay thai but i always give respect where respects due, we need to quit hating on each other and learn to support each other.

I would love to meet and train with Pardeep one day.

    God bless....
