happiness is a term we made up to define an emotion humans, and other animals experience. Are you saying your definition of God is a made-up word for an emotion that we call "peace of mind", "nirvana". If so, thats a pretty valid answer. But i think the Original Poster is referring to a God that is up in the sky and controls things, not a state of mind/energy force/nirvana.

You can not prove God's existence. It's a leap of faith.

well, since your into science, have you studied the human body and it's intricate detail... all it's different systems... which mesh together into a network of cells which act upon each other in ways that none of us could have ever created... when i studied these things, it reaffirmed my faith in god because of these reasons... something greater than us, must have created something so intricate... so microscopic.... trust me, go into the medical profession and then your whole science reasoning can be technically negated...

Veerji, I agree with you completely... But shouldn't we at least try to set him straight once? Otherwise he will spread his wack views everywhere and people will start to get influenced by him, just like Ghugga.. Look at how many supporters he has.. u know what i mean? I would love to do nothing other than to ignore him, but then it would feel like I gave up... that's all... Sant Ji did so much for us, so I think we should stand up for him...

there is a guy named anant mangat. yesterday, he registered for an account on sikhness.com and posted a terrible message completely disrespecting sant ji. He said that sant ji was a terrorist and a coward who hid inside the golden temple. i found this very offensive and was going to delete the post, but then i realized that he would think that "he won". can somebody who knows their history well and who can counter somebody like this please come help. he said that he wants to discuss with anybody who can prove him wrong. thanks sangat ji... his post can be found here: http://www.sikhness.com/home/index.php?topic=114.0 i'm also going to try and discuss with him, but my history and debate skills are not as good as many of you...

you can't prove to anyone that there is a god by words... just look around... the best proof is right there in front of your eyes... and it's all about faith... and belief... you can't prove it, you just have to have faith...

then he complained to the tree, heyy man ur fruits are so sweet buh on the inside you are full of poison. the tree replied, listen o traveller, i dont know you at all buh when u came under me, i gave ur shade from the sun. you hit me with a rock, i gave you a sweet fruit so you wouldn't stay hungry. buh when you try to break my seed, i couldnt take it anymore and had to defend myself.

a sikh is like a mango tree, you can come to us, we will protect you. even when you hit us, make rude remarks, we wont get angry. BUT, WHEN YOU GOTO OUR SEED, BY DISRESPECTING DHAN SRI GURU GRANTH SAHIB JEE, AND 10 GURU'S OF HUMAN FORM THEN WE WILL FIGHT BACK WITH EVERYTHING WE GOT.

PS. i know people from other site are reading this thread. thats y i put this here. now, before you start feeling all weird thinking this example has no logic, i must add that its metaphorical. think about it before you get to your conclusions.
