  1. vaheguroo jee ka khasla vaheguroo jee kee fateh

im at uni and have masses of causework whch i do during the ngiht time, is it paap to do amritvela without waking up from sleep?

also, is it paap to wake up, do amritvela nitnem and then sleep after?....

also is it essential to have full ishnaan before amritvela? i knwo many gursikhs who have panj ishnaan.

    any responces welcome.

vaheguroo jee ka khasla vaheguroo jee kee fateh

    - No. Obviously there's times when u have to be up the whole night i.e. exams, but don't make it a habit. Ideally Amrit vela should be the start of your day, buh if ur circumstances require u to pull 'all-nighters' because of school/work or somethin.. then u shud'n worry too much..

    - No. However, u shudn't get into the habit of that either. Again, it depends on ur circumstances... but if i's jus that ur stayin late at nite because ur watchin t.v. or sumtin... then i's nah a good thing... buh if ur up late doin work... then wake up to do amrit vela n go back to sleep.. then i dun see a problem wit that... as mentioned above, ur body needs rest... i's a health issue too..

    - If it is possible, then do so. I's best to be fresh n clean wha nah.. obviously there's times where ur nah able to... buh if ur able to, then why not?

  2. It might be a virus.

During initial startup it usually says "Press F1 (or esc or somethin) to intterrupt normal startup process" or something along those lines... try messin around wit that... I had somethin like that happen to me recently, n it was a virus.. i jus messed around with some options..

after a few attempts of messin around i finally got windows to start.. then started runnin massive scans n stuff.. haha..

  3. No matter how 'moderated' this thing is, u can't stop 'flirting' or anything of the like. Personally i don't think its practical to have something like this... we have many sikh forums, n like sum1 else said, facebook/hi5 n all dem other sites already have a whole bunch'a 'sikh' groups...

I know some people all excited about havin some sort of sikhi social site... buh i don't think tha's the best way to do parchaar... there's pros n cons of it.. i think if we wanna use time n energy for parchaar, it shud be done in our communities first... perhaps gurdwaras... do seva... etc.. etc..

personally i think this'll jus turn into a regular 'social link up' site... rather then sumtin thats actually doing positive sikhi parchaar...

    jus my thoughts..

    Bless!

  4. how does it affect any of your gursikhi jeevans if sum1 is tying their daree??? is it a kurehit?? NO...

if u don't feel like doin it.. then don't... some people HAVE to tie it up because of their line of work (i.e. workin in machinery).. some people do it cus they feel like it... leave it be... worry about ur own jeevans..

personally.. i never have and never will.. i dun tink it looks good at all.. in fact i tink it looks a lil fruity.. buh tha's jus my opinion.. i dun hate on people who do...

there's probably one person i bug about it.. n tha's jus to irritate him <_<

bottom line.. it dun afffect any of us... so le's focus on our own sikhi rather then small petty things like this...

btw.. to answer original question... I'm not sure either...
