  1. BUT THE THING veerji is that i have tried many times to keep kesh no worky.

and i feel that without kesh i have no right to wear any kakkar.

i think we use to many teminologiys like if u wna wear 1 kakkar u hve to wear them all etc.. but dont matter if your a mona if u wanna wear kara just dnt disrespect it always think before you do somthing

just do ardas and get in to gud sangat if possible

  2. IF ONE CAN KEEP SARBLOH BIBEK ONE SHOULD.. ONE SHOULD AIM TO ONE DAY FOLLOW AS MUCH REHAT AS POSSIBLE

    REHAT IS BENIFIT 2 US

BUT ARGUING ABOUT SOME REHATS I THINK IS POINTLESS SOME PEOPLE WILL BE FOR THE REHAT AND SOME AGAINST

I THINK THIS POST IS POINTLESS ITS JUST GONNA TURN INTO A ARGUMENT JUST LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE ON THE FORUM

  3. FOUND THIS ON ANOTHER MSG BOARD THOGUT I MTIE SHARE IT

    Let's play an interesting game.

Close your eyes. (after reading this post)

Do Mool Mantr or Naam for a few moments.

Clear your mind of all thoughts.

Now think of Siri Guru Gobind Singh jee.

What is the first thought you get about Guru Sahib? What image do you get in mind?

Everytime we think of anything, we get a certain image of it in our mind. When thinking about Guru Sahib, you may get a special spiritual feeling or you may remember a saakhi of Guru Sahib, or a you may think of a painting of Guru Sahib, you may think of Khalsa, you may think of baana, you may think of kakaars, you may think of baani.

I want to hear what other pyaras of Siri Guru Dasmesh jee think of him and how they think of him and how their mind expresses love for Guru Sahib.

    Kindly share this with us.

  4. were in kalyug so people are lost the world is on its head in satyug people were vegetarians and lived by truth now where in kalyug so obviously people gonna do the opposite

like above post said if u gna eat it, eat it but dont say because sikhi says its ok

does any 1 no any chardikala gursikhs who are meat eaters?

i've personaly never heard of one?

has their been a great sikh of the past that have been meat eaters?

  5. for a sikh eating from amritdharis only and becoming bibeki is the ideal thing.. but some people are born in manmuk familes and they have to eat from their parents unless they want to strave of course/

a sikh should learn to carry their own weight around learn to be independant and able to cook 4 his or her self

as for eating at restaurants etc.. it should be avoided as you do not no what goes on behind the scenes

    anyway eeverything come from naam

keeping rehats live bibek or sabloh bibek is pointless if you do not jaap naam 24/7

  6. VJKK VJKF!

ONE MORE GURDWARA , HIGH STREET GURDWARA WEST BROM, CONFRENCE SUITE IS NEXT DOOR!

U GOT DANCING AND PARTYING AND U GOT GURDWARA NEXT DOOR 2 IT! STUPIDITY!

    VJKK VJKF!

Ummm....I think you will find that, that hall has nothing to do with the Gurdwara. It used to be a factory that someone (independant from the Gurdwara) has bought and done up as a hall.

So please don't make assumptions simply because it is right next to the Gurdwara.

yes i think that is independant even so still should not be there gurdwara should have brought the building

  7. Thank you both for your advice, and thanks for being so sensitive.

I guess what really made me start questioning so much was looking at other faiths. I never could understand how people could believe what they did because they were things that I never could believe in as a Sikh. I started to realise that basically all it was was just that - nothing more than faith. We can't know what is truly right or wrong, and that's what started to make me question Sikhi. Obviously it goes alot deeper than that, but ultimately that's what lead me to where I am now.

I'll follow your guys' advice though - I'll try to trust in Guru ji to bring me through this. I need Waheguru. It makes me want to cry because if there is no Waheguru then - there's no purpose to living, is there? And that's a very unsettling thought.

    thanks again

do ardas penji its just a test from mahraj to test your faith do ardas and jaap naaam :|

  8. for someone who has never done bhagti or any naam kami for they only remember god when death comes they are broguht infront of dharam rajs caught and held account for their deeds this is were they repent and wish they had done some kind of naam kamai

people that give shaheedi people will argue that u have to be amritdhari or a naam kami vala gursikh to have te stratus shaheed and some my argue no u dont.

the label shaheed means nothing to them only akal purak can judge praising or not being praised means nuthing to them now.

shaheedi means sacrfice if i am correct

the only true sacrifice is wen we sacrifice our mind and give it to mahraj
