i kinda agree with hps. i think if a girl converts then obviously the muslim thats done it needs to be sorted out but we never hear of anything being done like that. this would teach other people not to do these kind of things.

im not saying uk sikhs are softies.

theres not alot we can do if a girl decides she wants to convert though. except if she is forcibly being converted. then maybe we should have a 'forcibly being converted helpline number'

its not just sikhs but hindus and even white girls who are converting. the uk july bomber was married to a white girl who was a convert.

at the end of the day how many girls who have converted are actually happy? the truth always come out in the end.

i think its not about teaching them about their religion. some people just arnt religious.

most of these girls convert just to get married anyway. what i dont get is when i read stuff like they dont want to be with a out going sikh who goes to clubs etc. they would rather be with a inncoent muslim and be safe.

how are they being safe with a muslim?? they are going from the frying pan into the fire. is being safe. being disowened by your family. then being forced to convert.

i really dont understand sikh girls. ive never come acroos anyone converting myself touch wood. but by the stories ive heard on the net there must have been around 1000 conversions from the 80's the present day.

alot of the girls arent 17 20 yr olds theres a a lot of divorcess's who are in their mid twenties who are converting.

i think girls need to change who they asscociate with at uni. they most probably hang around with muslims. and would trust muslims more then sikhs.

going off topic. it might sound silly. but when they are giving you the langar. can you refuse something for instance aloo gob ect. becuase i can only eat a little. and end up forcing myself to eat what the put in my thali.

at the end of the day. this world aint for the weak. if your stupid enough to get converted then its your own fault. i know people do crazy things when they are i love. but giving up your religion for another is on another level.

i think most of the girls that get converted are from single parent families. the girl probably can do what she's likes. and their mother is probably to depressed to do anything about it.

ive noticed that alot of sikh girls are tom boys who like to hang around with males.

i knew this one sikh girl and she hanged around with muslims. i was like why are you hanging around muslims. why not hang around with sikhs. the problem was the college was 99% muslim so there were no sikhs to make friends with. but that doesnt mean she had to have muslim friends.

also who says its just one way traffic. a muslim girl was infactuated with me

but i told her that it wouldnt work out and she was willing to convert to sikhsm. ect.

^^i had the same problem with Nero burner. it kept comming up with an error saying you have to format the file in a different way. in the end i just gave up. lol

any tips for printing colour pics? ive got some special picture paper. i wanted to print a Sikh Gurdwara picture also.

i followed the instructions but i got a message saying unexpected file format. i tried saving it in the format that they say. but im having a problem doing it.

its says i have to save in at as follows

The video files must be saved on your hard drive *.VOB, *.IFO and *.BUP format.

Nero Burning ROM will not accept other file formats.

You will need at least three files to add:

anyone know how copy a saved video file that i have on my computer like mpeg or wmv onto a dvd disk?

i wouldn't use that anytime, in fact any of microsoft's products such as those... 1) its really resource consuming, lags the computer taking into consideration of your computer.

2) who knows what information it collects from your pc...

3) you can get much better programs that that for free with guaranteed support from authors, microsoft usually says, the problem is in your system, solve it then come back, the problem being, microsofts products...

i am writing this from past experience and is why i have switched over to Linux for a very long time now :D
