Could some1 pls give more info on vinegars. I know all vinegars go thru the same process as makin sharab but it goes further so it no longer is alchohol. On that note, is it ok to have prducts with white wine vinegar in them?

there is 1 man kind, religion is indifferent, god is NOT EGOTESTICAL. he does not "smite" because of your religious beliefs.

Its happening more then you think, we are falling back into the fold of hinduisim. Things like exclusion (eating only from a fellow amritdhari), shaking weapons, or even believing that hindu gods existed are the tell tale signs of exactly that: dissolution.

Ritiulism is running rampant in our communities from our mothers doing/saying wierd stuff like don't sneeze before you leave the home to Sikh youth believing that Gurbani can only be read by an amrithdari Sikh, or only Sikhs can attain salvation. Sikhs today believe that they should only be friends with fellow Sikhs, and that no matter how much better a person that non-sikh maybe then the amritdharis it is still jhoot to keep his/her sangat.

We have taken way to many strides backwards, we believe seva is at the gurdwara: NO NOT ANYMORE. Seva of the guru is by helping the poor on our streets, not by doing meaningless langars/akhand paths. Unless ofcourse you are listeniing to the whole akhand path, becuase the walls are not going to benifit from it.

Guru Gobind Singh ji always said to be educated in all matter worldy, and bani wise.

Rejecting the Vedas does not mean we may not read them, we should they are a deep part of history, but to take the output of the veds as "gyaan" is wrong...Guru Granth Sahib is the true gyaan.

But to say that a hindu should reject them is also wrong, it is their gyaan.

Some people will feel i am mad posting such stuff and others will feel I have some clever agendaa etc. but whatever I am writing has been coming true and will continue to come true as well. Getting into debt to get a college degree is suicidal I feel. That rehitnama makes perfect sense. Those who've treaded on the path of bhagati in a serious manner will tell you why this is true.

There is no such thing as a friendly conversation, especially in this age when man ( and woman ) can fall from grace of mind in an instant.

Maybe he/she can stay in grace of body and word, but certanily mind is rarely possible to uphold.

You can fool yourself ( or more correctly, the panj chor and their minions convince your mind) that you see such and such as a brother or sister.

But there is a certain "rass" you extract even from conversation of Guruj Maharaj or Sikhi which is not "nam rass" but "vishay rass". This rass will be too sutble for most people to pick up on, so they think they are speaking to the opposite sex with good intentions, which they are not.

Gursikhs should lower the gaze of their mind and body when they see the opposite sex. With Guru Maharaj ji's kirpa we can uphold this virtous lifestyle.
