I love wearing a Daastar, i get people generally coming up to me and asking questions about Sikhism, they all know the Sikhs wear turbans but they can never be sure of who is a Sikh and who isnt. Only this morning i was talking to the Lolly pop lady near my college who wanted to know more about Sikhi. She even asked is she could go to the gurudwara and see what it is like inside. If someone is staring at me i just give them a smile and say good monring/afternoon etc.. that usually makes the person a little less anxious. But if you want scare the crap out of all teh Gora, get onto a train with a laptop bag, place it on teh floor and keep looking at your watch, and look really nervous. That would scare the <admin-profanity filter activated> out the gora lol.

im addicted to ketchup! i have it with everything (on toast, with roti, cheese sandwiches.... pretty much with everything) n that masala stuff u put in indian chai (mixture of lechins, souf etc...)..... i eat it ... i mean like spoonfuls of the stuff....im slightly abnormal..... im also addicted to my mp3 player.... cant get enough of it... has all my favourite shabads on it..... what else... my favourite addiction in the world.... seeing Maharaj each morning before work..... if i dont get darshan...... i wither away n the withdrawal gets so intense that i cant function..... cant sleep......cant even drink ketchup....

I agree with Heart and Pyara. Sikhi is for yourself, you do not preach sikhi people and expect them to convert to whatever you are saying. Many people have their own view and instead of critising them, respect them. I believe that if you think not speaking to the opposite sex helps you to get closer to God, do this, but I also have my own beliefs: if you think that speaking to the opposite sex is lustful, then you have some issues with your self control, stop worrying about these things and jap naam, its only this way you can get some self contol. And don't get me wrong I ain't judging you, its just my opnion, everyone has issues they have to face in life, you just an't avoid them all your life. Waheguruuuu.
