this is the common view amongst those with limited knowledge, half of people in punjab think this, most of the west does too, and this guy is from india so what do you expect.

I will say it again, SS Mann is a spent force and he ignores the families of Shaheed Singh. I have posted an extract from the tapoban web site which is written by the son of a shaheed Singh. Mann, Rode etc visited the family when the Shaheed was alive but as soon as the police kill him they stop visiting and ignore the family. So on the one hand he is trying to get cheap publicity by putting up this Shaheed gallery placard (which has been taken off now) and on the other hand he ignores the family of Shaheed Singh. that was probably the only good point in the whole film, what about the rest were they show singhs singling out hindus and killing them, killin juhi chawals dad who is the 'good cop' and then the leader of the kharkus begging for his life in fornt of the police man.

the showing of police brutality etc is a big plus point n its a film worth watching for those who havnt seen it.

shaheed udham singh is prob the best ever bollywood film made on sikhs, music was great, acting too and no false agenda n propaganda.
