    First of all non of u have any idea what this singh has been through.. im not saying i know.. but YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO JUDGE. so instead of sitting here and talking rubbish why dont u go and do something productive with ur time?

    Simranjit singh does not care what u think or what u say on here so u are really wasting ur time. hes probably sitting there laughing at you right now - (i know i am)

    If u care so much about his well-being then u shud b doing ardas but no - we just love to put our noses where they reallllyyyy dont belong.

    I dont think we should put all keertanis in the same category. Keertanis have good karma which is why they can do kirtan in the first place.. so i think we should respect this. We have to also put ourselves in their shoes - imagine getting so much ustat from sangat when getting off stage.. people idolising you again and again.. i think we would all get haumai! big time! I knw for a fact that a lot of keertanis do ardaas tha they dont get this haumai but you can imagine - its HARD. But its not ther fault - its our fault because we carry on doing ustat of the keertani trying to get in their goodbooks when in reality we are not helping them one bit. So whether it is a youth keertani ( they can have haumai 2 ) or a international one - we just refrain from slander and praise.

    OH and jai tegang - Your kaam is not suddenly eradicated when you get married... it is still there. for some people it can get worse. dont think having kaam for ur wife is all good mate. Whatever takes u away from guru ji is MAYA. and MAYA comes from KAAM KRODH LOBH MOH AHNKAAR.

    Thought id clear that one up.

    personally, i am totally against long engagement!! This period is very sensitive for your mind as you start to think about marriage and about ur partner. ...If it is to long.. u can find urself drowning in the thoughts and bascially thinking to much about marriage - ... having doubts etc. our minds are not pure nor can they be controlled.

    i also agree that it is a trend to get engaged young...i dont know why all these people want to get married so badly! hmm am i missing out? seems boring to me hehe.

    while wer not married we should be making the most of being free and doing as much bhagtee as we can... Sangato guru naal joro.. janum saful karo. these marriage issues shouldnt be in our minds.. build a healthy uchaa soocha jeevan and only have one goal in life.. to fall in love with guru jis feet.

    WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOO!! Last year khalsa camp tapoban singhs couldn't make it but its the sangat that makes it AMAZING. Just the atmosphere of so many gursikhs big and small, fat and thin, black and white hehe

    Benti to girls to attend camp!!! Its great experience to meet new people and just learnn and get laahhaa! its great fun 2!!
