Please refrain from opening such topics when it is clear from the title that it refers to bibian and an 'intimate' subject. Sometimes it's not easy asking bibian in your family when they are not Amritdhari, or when you don't live near or know any bibian. Rest assured that posting on Sikhsangat about this stuff isn't the first choice option, it's usually the last resort. Secondly we're not strangers, we're your sisters. Silly.

Moreover please bear in mind that these issues do occur to every woman on the planet and the primary objective of this forum is to discuss what the members want to discuss and if that means asking a question about bibis Rehat then so be it. It's up to the ADMIN to decide if we need a bibi's section or not but having one wouldn't stop boys entering and complaining about it.

I am disgusted to see that you think this thread is about sex, and it just shows where people like you are headed! God forbid our little sisters grow up to be woman who deal with such nonsensical biological issues that were created by Guru Ji himself.

okay guys.

firstly im male. and i dont have a huge circle of friends like a lot of people. infact i think i have only two close friends.

the thing is. that me and my friend wre quite socialable. we went out together on the weekends and i thought everything was okay.

untill suddenly my friend has become very withdrawn. he hasnt called me in 3 months. and when i have got through to him. he just says he's depressed and that he doesnt feel like doing anything.

everytime i call him to intiate a link up. he always refuses and uses excuses such as the weather beung to bad.

its gotton to the point. were i dodnt think he is a friend anymore. he just seems to want to be on his own.

which has made me quite mad. to be honest. mainyly because i dont have many other friends to socialise with. i think to be frank. i dont particulary think he's a good friend or anything like. its just that i dodnt have many firends. hence why i kinda rely on him as a link.

but the ways he's acted this 3 months. i feel like never talking to this guy again. he's seems quite arrogant. or maybe he just doesnt like going out with me.

in a nutshell. should i just ignore this <banned word filter activated>. or what? i dont partatularly like him anyway. he was just someone to go out with. he seems content just to stay at home all the time.

have u read and done santhiya of Sri Guroo Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj....can u hand on heart say that u fully understand mool mantar or japji sahib???

none of us can unless ur a Brahmgiani....so does that mean we should do shanka on Guroo Sahib and question whether its His baanee or not?

You have to give credit where its due, theres not many other singers/writers in the mainstream punjabi scene who would sing about these issues.

In the first link he even mentions singhs being given sentances without any evidence of wrong doings! ie prof bhullar, onkar singh and jagtar singh.

Second one mentions the problems faced by farmers and the mothers who lost their families in the massacres.

Third video about kurbania of sikhs through history - people dancing but thats punjabis for you never mind! those that worship death have no fear of death.

he also did the hawayein stuff a few years ago.

i think this stuff is fantastic....its good for older generations and those in punjab who listen to music--educates ppl

not sure abt the dates bt u have to be 16 or over to go there....erm they do FANTASTIC DIVAANS AND KATHA AND TALKS

and they do activities such as abseiling, water rafting etc

Since when has this literature been called "Sri Guru Dasam Granth Sahib Ji"? It used to be termed Bachitar Natak? Whats all that about?

This question was put to Taksali Kathakar Balbir Singh, he said that If you bow onli before Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj then Maharaj will not strike you down for going home and touching your parents feet. The idea of bowing means that you are a owned by a master, however by touching an elders feet you are simply recognising that after all they are in some way superior to you being your father, mother, grandparent etc. You should respect all the relationships given to you by Maharaj.

Personally it is completely up to you, some people to matha tek in front of Guru Sahibs paintings others in the door ways to Gurudwara's or Sachkand. It comes down to the level of respect you have at the end of the day none can equate to Maharaj. I agree with the last post you shouldnt in anyway do beadbi to Maharaj by showing respect for someone else in this case you can say Fateh.

but i havent said that sikhs shouldnt keep sarabloh bibek or do santhiya in larreevaar...in fact in slough the naujawan who have had santhiya are writting gurbaanee in lareevaar themselves...u should come see instead of attacking people on forums cos u dont like their views

and im pretty sure those youth having santhiya from baldeep singh are doing the same in midlands and a few of them are writing lareevaar

i just phoned a singh who lives near me and he said that UK AKJS do belive in Dasam Granth! Dasam Granth is an integral part of the PANTH!!!

ive got into this discussion (which i didnt start!) with some singhs who are central in the jatha and they have said they dont believe in all parts of Sri Guroo Dasam Granth Sahib Ji

and like khalistan_zindabad said they were handing out leaflets at khalsa primary school about dasam granth sahib jis parkash and at their camps they have said that not all of Sree Guroo Dasam Granth Sahib Ji is Guroo Gobind Singh Jee's Baani

if Akaal Takht excommunicate people like kala afghana and darsan ragi then anyone else who does niniya of Dasam Patsaahs baani should be excommunicated from the panth....akjs(sorry dont mean to generalise) are always talking about panthic maryada and following Akaal Takht....yet they pick and mix....only those who support all of Dasam Bani are part of the panth-it seems thats Akaal Takhts view anyway cos they have been excommunicating Dasam Granth Sahib Ji's nindaks

We should leave the past behind, and accept the present and dont worry about future because then we will be accepting the hukam. everything is under the hukam, gurbani teaches us to accept the hukam.

Let god do justice, all of them that harm others will get their fruits of their deeds back. no one escapes the law of karma.

why should we take the matter in our hands. i know its hard to forget whats happened, but if you dont, you will still have the hate inside you. hate wont get you nowhere, if we start to hate hindus for what they did, we are not gona get anywhere, gurbani teaches us to love all creation, and accept gods hukam.

that way we will be at peace and will focus on GOD and our bhagti rather than what happened in past.

those that had their daughters raped infront of them...their sons,husbands,brother,fathers have tyres put on their necks,kerosene poured over them and burnt alive....those ppl cant move on in their lives till justice is done....Guroo Gobind Singh Jee took the matter in to their hands...Bandha Singh Bahadhur took the matter in to His hands...he could have said yeah what happended to the Sahibzade is in the past....but he didnt....Baba Deep Singh Jee took the matter into their hands....

for those that say we should forget abt 84....its easy for u...ur families havent been affected by 84....my whole family has been and i knw that my grandparents can never move on till justice is done

im always feeling sleepy even though i get more than 7 hours sleep and its ruining my amritvela.....any tips or advice?
