^^understands me!^^
P.s i think it's cos of the femenine-like/pink writing...first thoughts would be 'female' but I dont get why people think i'm a guy lol
yes very 'intellectual' arguments but it still does not explain the belief in the continuation of gurgaddi...there is no real explanation; their answers are inadequate in this respect
At the end of the day yeh, Guru Gobind Singh Ji himself bowed down to Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji after saying that it was to be the only Guru we should look to after he passed away... So get real...Satguru Saroop? per-lease!
^^^I second that^^^
P.S i dont think that red is for hindus and green is for Muslims..these colours are just more CLOSELY associated with these religions...dont blame me, blame my R.E teacher! lol
I agree with everything said here...I think- as i've said before people don't usually wear Red because it's more closely associated with Hinduism plus...it dont go with much does it? lol and green cos its more closely associated with Islam..see most Islamic Country flags etc. but i dont think its that big a deal...like 'Singh with Dunalli" said..Its all about the TURBAN and KESH what's the deal with colour?
I understand how you feel (i'm not just saying that - I REALY do) but if you say you are keeping yourself happy...is it because of how you are treated wearing Dastaar or because you just don't feel you look good? At hte end of the day its your own choice but think REAL hard before you make this decision jio...Good Luck
P.S it seems like you've already made your decision!
Bhul Chuk Maaf Ji
LOL! thats just ONE of my reasons for wearing dastaar; I wear it because of Guru Ji's Hukam! If identity was the only reason I probably wouldn't wear it and simply TELL people that i'm not Hindu/muslim etc. lol I dont hate people of other religions I just said...we need our Identity...a crown is what Guru Ji gave us and we should wear it with pride!...
How'd this get onto hatin hindu's and muslims? lol never mind
Bhul chuk maaf jio!
-is it some people who don't like green and red cos they represent the colours of Islam and Hinduism? - So by wearing colours more associated to Sikhism like -Pritam Singh Khalsa said- we can represent? I dont believe there to be any written rules over the colours but I suppose a few people who wear these colours (red and green) are frowned upon by some members of the Sangat cos of the association?
