wel.. i think its what ur own personal belief is, the guru said no intoxications, in that case we can have a sip of alcohol even though we arent really having it for any reason because we eat ketchup because of the actual ketchup and not the alcohol, but then in that case, there is no harm for u to have one sip of alcohol for no reason becasue you know you can have cuz u have it in ketchup, if u get where i'm coming from, it makes sense...prove it that ur not having the ketchup for the alcohol by having a sip of alcohol, cuz not even that sip of alcohol is going to get u high

some people try to limit their intakes, as in they might need bread cuz there is nothing else, so its a matter of either eating or not eating for them...

Thanks for the posts, but i just thought i should say that i dont tie my hair as in twist it, i just inda let it rest on my head, i dont twist it at all or tie it, just for future reference...

Ever since i started to wear a dastaar, i noticed that my hair line has gone higher, which obviously means i've lost a little amount of hair, and just above my ear too, but i dont know what to do!! i've seen this on other singh's but much worse, but i just dont know what to do, cuz if i do my dastaar any looser then it will honestly, seriously fall off my head the moment i start to run!!

funny that, cuz my frend thinks the same way about me, but i keep tellin him that i aint gonna drift off, cuz i dont want to, that friendship is too good to just 'drift away' from, impossible. I do not know if you have heard of Inderjit Kaur, she sings story's of sikhi in english like about how great Sri Guru Gobind Singh Jee Maharaaj was and short stories of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Jee when he had his feet towards the Makka and how he squeezed the roti's and from one of them milk came out and the other blood etc, she has a brilliant voice, in my opinion her album is brilliant, its called 'Keep on Walking', so for those who know who i am on about, what do you think of the stuff that she sings? and also... is there anymore tracks she has except for the 'Keep on Walking' album?

Dharam Raaj. He is the judge of where you go in the after-life, he might send you to hell; back in the churasi lakh joon or to sachkhand etc thats all i know, sorry if i have given the incorrect explanation.

ur thoughts on jamdhoot are abit wrong. theyre not something u need to learn to defend against with weapons, u will encounter them at the time of death. they don't haunt u and scare u like ghosts, demons etc these jamdhoots are beings in the afterlife. gurbani says naam is the only protection from these jamdhoots. they arent scary creatures on this planet where a sarbloh kirpaan will be needed, these jamdhoots are actually horrific messengers of DEATH and u will enounter them only at the time of death. however they are scared of gurmukhs, so let us jap naam and follow bani!

actually, ^^^ i know a singh who has seen a jamdhooth twice, so why didnt it kill him the first time round? even tho it didn't kill him the second time round cuz he got to sachkhand prbbly, he ws one of the 3 gursikhs in the lake incident... so they i think they do come to torture you as well or make u scared, maybe it's a way of making somebody realise that the true path of Sikhi is the right path to be on or something like that...maybe....

In my previous post, one of our brothers called 'sukhchain' on this forum asked about what a Jamdhooth is. I am not sure how to give the correct description, so if anybody can give the correct description, please do so... all i know is that a 'Jamdhooth is The Messenger of Death'

It is a black fugre, and apparently according to a singh who has seen one, they have a black face with red eyes and it is the most disgusting mot ugliest thing they have ever seen, and apparently it has really long legs

They can be stopped by japping naam (meditating on the name - vaaheguroo) and they can be stopped by using shashtar such as a kirpaan and apparently for some reason it has to be made from Sarbloh - I do not know why though.

P.s. Does anybody know the reason why only srabloh shashtar (weapons) work against Jamdhooth's and not normal metal?

Please sangat jee, if anybody has anymore information about what a Jamdhooth is, then please with all means post it, thank you jee.

Ever since i have found out what a Jamdhooth is, i have been scared most of the time when i am on my own, its stop some of my sikhi, i know that I should fear nothing or no-one except for vaaheguroo, but my fear is still there, it has affected my sikhi because every time i want to get up for Amrit velaa (it may sound rediculous but) i feel like there is a Jamdhooth is around, or some kind of presence anyway, and its not a happy presence, its horrible, every time i go to have a bath, because there is a window just on the sied, i feel like i'm going to see red eyes and a scary face, i don't know if it's something to worry about, its just that i dont know how to beat the fear, well...i do know what i have to do - JAP NAAM!!! but because i am no true singh, i dont think it seems to help me so maybe...i dont know, what can i do? because i cant think of nothing but to guroo guroo jap. ?????

I also wanted to know, WHAT DO YOU DO IF YOU EVER COME IN CONTACT WITH A JAMDHOOTH?!!? What if you dont have any talvaar's??? Does your kirpaan have to be Sarbloh in order to scare off a Jamdhooth, because i know this really chardhikalaa singh, he is quite old, he does so much Naam Jaap, but he doenst wear Sarbloh kirpaan from what i have seen, unless he wears a sarbloh one underneath his baanaa....

So please tell me all your views on this discussion please, i really need to know and really need some singh-ness put inside me, HELP MEE!!!
