  1. NeoSingh Bhaji, the version I read has many little facts differing to the pages you've scanned. The ones you've attached seem quite similar to Baba Waryaam Singh Ji's language and his use of english words here and there. It seems much more legitimate as well. Is there a link to the entire upload?

Or could you let me know which book it's from?

  2. Raj Karega khalsa veer, that website has lot of indepth indic vedic knowledge(vigyan/science) which is *NOT* necessarily incompatible with Gurmat by default as gurmat does not build human/soul framework from scratch because there is no need to as its naturally compatible with existing knowledge of human/soul. For eg- Gurmat does not re-define how sun or moon looks like or science behind it, there is no need to..its already there so it does not re-define or re-invent the wheels of things specifically in the topic surrounding science of atma/human/body/paratma but rather acknowledges and reiterates- the universal knowledge which is already there. Off course its not a general rule across the board as its topic by topic basis but specifically in this topic of science of atma-paratama/human body is universal one and same..!! just like how life/death/human body functions, sun/moon/stars are universal things shared by all..!!

We should do full research before indicating it's contrary to Gurmat. Lot of stuff- vigyan/science behind soul/body which you mentioned above its already mentioned in gyani thakur singh ji (student of sant kartar singh ji bhindranwale) katha of japji sahib. I will leave that up to individual's own research.

But i do want to share 6 page insight discussion of sant waryam singh ji with suleman(ghost) which was blessed(to provide a human life) by sant maharaj isher singh ji rara sahib. In the short 6 page summary on page 18th. It does mention only lucky ones or chosen ones soul can connect from outside to baby inside the womb with some sort of divine silver chord. That they don't necessarily have to go inside the womb and feel the pain..!!

    Please see-attached

will contribute more to this thread tom if time allows..!!

LOL! Bhaji I don't know where to start.

    Okay, firstly, I'm your bhen...not veer :p

Secondly, I absolutely adore the site! There's probably not a single article left that I haven't read yet :rolleyes2:

The only reason why I wrote about it being non-sikhi based is because I believe that not everybody looks at SO much gyan in a positive way...Many want every single thing based upon a 'Gurbani-tuk' and might even judge it simply because it's more aligned towards the Hindu religion.

Not many realise that 'Adhyaatamikta' has no religion.

(and before the bashing up started...I had to write that. I don't like it when strangers are rude to me. :unsure2: )

Third....Me and my Singh have read a Punjabi translation PDF of the entire Pir Suleman story just a few days ago. :smile2:

  3. The Hunt within...

When will I hear thy footsteps?

When will I hear thee coming?

When will my ears want no more to hear?

When will these eyes see you?

When will they visualise the purest?

    If never!

    I pray and I wish O' Lord,

    I go deaf and blind,

    hear and see none else.

    Poignant melancholy

    descending upon...

eyes in search of something lost...

    ears tracing thy voice...

    failing to realise,

    every time...

    It's thou that's all,

    everywhere...

    O' my beloved!

    I'm exhausted by the hunt,

    (but never will I stop)

    give me thy slightest clue

    I'll stand up again,

    look hither and thither

    Oh!

though I know the hunt is within...

    Please help me O' Lord,

Bless this seedling with thy fruit,

    Make me so

    Bless me so

    I be capable,

    to beg at thy doorstep,

    O' beloved...

  4. In Nov1984 the Indian papers published false stories that Sikhs were poisoning water supplies in Delhi, killing hindus on mass in the Punjab to stir up the Indians to kill Sikhs. So it does not surprise me re the bias against Sikhs. Whats worse all these Indian intellectuals/ politicians etc never asked why the media had published these false stories.

Bhaji, have you got a reference for the newspaper that had published such news? Or anybody else?

  5. The above link is a youtube video of Baba Hari Singh Ji Randhawe wale's katha of 10 stages of Naam.

He says the first step is 'Baikhari' which means to say out loud with your mouth.

So, basically, whatever you choose to practise or recite, say it out loud.

Along with reciting Bani verbally, one should also practise and train themselves to be able to listen carefully to Gurbani.

I'm not exactly sure whether it's correct to say that they're 'equally' important...but there's definitely nothing wrong with saying that they're BOTH important.

  6. Dear _me_,

Everyone has a purpose on the earth realm. You do too! :smile2:

Don't be saddened by outer appearance, false love and attachment or what the society's norms are.

Try to start searching for the purpose of your life.

Appreciating every little moment of happiness might help you get temporary relief from sadness.

  7. I can understand now why non-amritdharis like myself see some amritdharis as full of hunkaar, and think they are above the rest of the world.. How on earth can u ask a question like this after asking other questions u have to lucky99? That sounds like u are saying they have only accepted u. For your information and ur narrowmindedness Maharaj accepts all, if they didnt they I would not be bowing down to them. With that kind of attitude, what do u expect to be seen as?

Also how do u know they have accepted u? Because uparo jo amritdhari hona chaida ohi kardi, dikava? te andaro ida di soch? this is the reason i said some think they know it all, maybe its some like u that need to learn few things yourself instead of throwing comments like that. Who the hell are u to judge who they accept to be their Guru? We do not know that, only they know that, they can do mehr on anybody and they love all. We are all god's creations and to say something like that is very belittling to humanity, insaniyat.

Bhaji/Bhenji, It might sound like I was being harsh or rude, but it wasn't my intention to come across as such. Please forgive me if you've been hurt by what I said.

I do not say that Guru Saheb have accepted me alone, but taking Amrit is indeed the only way for "Guru Dhaaran Karna".

I did not mean to simply 'throw comments' towards luckysingh99, but really wish to know what his views about Amrit are! Is it merely a ritual? (In that sense I've mentioned matha tekna).

Guru Saheb know what was in my heart whilst typing anything that I did. If have ever intended to hurt anyone (knowingly or unknowingly), I will surely have to pay for it.

    Guru Saheb Kirpa Karan.

  8. In Mool Mantar, Akaal Purakh is described as 'Nirvair', as in he hates none or has no enemies.

But that could also imply him as being someone totally Neutral.

    ਰੰਗਿ ਰਤਾ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਭਰਪੂਰਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

My Lord and Master is imbued with love; He is totally permeating and pervading all. ||1||Pause||

This tuk above states that He is filled with Love.

So, theoretically speaking, He loves all.

But, to be very honest, I could not find a Quote directly saying that all are loved by Him. I think I'll simply have to ask elders rather than relying upon the internet search engines. :huh2:

  9. Luckysingh99, Bhaji, I was wondering about asking you something.

When I had Amrit, for me it was a process of accepting Guru Ji as my spiritual guide and that he's accepted me as his disciple.

How do the non-amritdhari know that one they've accepted as their 'Guru',... has also accepted to 'be their Guru'?

Also, if taking Amrit is Bahmanism, or in other words a mere ritual, then one could call 'matha tekna' to be a ritual as well.

    Guru Saheb Kirpa Karan.

  10. You are implying that to ''accept your Guru to be Guru Granth Sahib ji, you must first take amrit!!'

I'm sorry but I have to disagree here.

There are far to many sikhs on here with these biased views. The amritdharis feel that they have an advantage, in this sense they are NO better than the hindu brahmin caste.

    Waheguru!

Bhaji, you mean to say that to one doesn't need to take Amrit to accept Guru Granth Saheb Ji as our Guru...and to get connected to Naam.

Could you please explain the reason for why Guru Saheb asked Their sikhs to take Charn-amrit or Khande baate di Pahul?

You guys should stop and just listen to what you are saying here.

These attitudes are just like the brahmins.

There is NOTHING GURMATT about these attitudes and expressions.

Some of you amrithdharis sound exactly like the sadhus that questioned Guru Nanak Ji in 'Sidh Ghisht'.

With regards to ''NAAM'' - most of you think that this is the special gurmantar only given by by your babas or deras.

You think it is like a password to gain spirituality and gyaan!!!

    Waheguru! Waheguru!

I wish you could have a bit more kindness towards a stranger like me.

Let me tell a little about ''Naam''

    - Naam is something deep within all of us, even kauda raksh had it!

To be able to connect with this naam is to be the closest you can be to God and creation.

You do NOT, I repeat do NOT have to be amritdhari to ''connect' with this naam that is within.

There are many non-amritdharies that are connected with this naam much more than some of their fellow amritdharis.

These monai or trimmed bearded folks are in consonance with naam and contemplate the lord in all their work and actions.

Bhaji, I believe that through meditation (without amrit or Gurmantar) one can only reach upto the Dasam Dwaar or Anahad Shabad. But, the journey doesn't end there. There's more to it.

Anyways, this is what I believe in. I'd be grateful if you could elaborate more about some non-amritdhari who has attained the highest spiritual awastha and what it is.

If a an amritdhari claims that ony he has the 'key to unlock' and access the naam connection, then I am afraid, that very amritdhari is much further away from the very naam himself and living in cuckoo land!!

His actions and attitude are completely not in any state of naam.

Waheguru! I do not claim that I have the key to unlock and get access to Naam. Only my Guru has.

Also, you're absolutely right about me living in the cuckoo land. I don't know when Guru Saheb will bless me with Their kirpadrishti and help me get out of it.

    any state of naam

Bhaji, I don't think naam is a 'state'. If you mean about the Swaas Swaas Simran awastha, Waheguru! you're right, I'm not there yet.

Please don't insult and deface the very word ''naam'' with this brahminised garbage talk of ''I am, I am,...amritdhari only, amrithdhari only,...me,me,me,me......''

I wish I could then understand why Guru Saheb decided to bless us with Amrit, if it is simply Brahmanism.

  11. OK, this means we must all have different concepts of naam.

In your best and shortest description, how would you define naam ?

Naam is basically a Name of Akaal Purakh. There is not one but countless names that devotees have named Him according to what they think He does...also known as 'kirtam naam'.

When a person accepts a spiritual Guru to be his guide....he is given a Gurmantar.

Our Guru has given us the gurmantar - Waheguru.

Now, to get the Gurmantar, one has to accept Guru Granth Saheb Ji as their Guru.

How does that happen? ----- By getting Amrit.

So, step by step --- 1. Take Amrit

    2. Accept Guru ji to be your spiritual guide.

    3. Get the Gurmantar (which can only be given by the Panj Pyare).

    4. Japp Naam

    EASY PEASY! :D
