  1. in every Gurdwara i see moneh, alcoholics and drug takers make the langar. Those that distribute it are also of the same. Thats why its better to avoid langar. The women are also similarly full of negative attributes. This is an indication of the poor work done by the Gurdwara committee. So long as the speakers are at fulll blast in the main hall and the langar is noisey they say yes we are doing a good job.

  2. such as KATHAK PURANMAASHI as day of GURU NANAK DEV JEE GURUPURAB which should had been on 29th October as per Jantri published on sgpc.net website.

It cannot have been on 29th Oct as kathak pooranmashi went about 2 weeks ago. Some celebrated yesterday and some are today. The proper day is by the solar system of when it is full moon (pooranmashi) which has passed. I am not sure of the exact day. Its a shame we have not followed this but two days of different celebrations no where near pooranmashi. The Sikh clergy is in a mess and so is the calendar. Lets see what happens with the avtar of Kalgiyawala Patshah

  3. If your problem skin is acne related then you need to minimize creams and use a anti bacterial creams like dettol creams etc. Also drink everyday fresh lemon juice. If you are feeling hot this may be an indication of allergic response or high blood pressure. Therefore nowadays everybody is advised to get a food allergy test on the NHS. Going to a steam room/sauna may work for you as it clears the skin.

If you are suffering from dry skin and itchiness then reduce salt intake, drink more water, reduce stresses and bring more artificial happiness ie, play compter games, etc. Also the best thing to do is drink lactose free milk as this is is high in nutrition and milk is good for your skin as it makes it more soft and supple aswell as making it more fairer.

  4. I've also wondered whether words such as in the Japji Sahib phrase (chose this example because all will recognise it):

    Vakt na paiyo kadhia

    Should be pronounced as:

Waqt na paiyo qazia - as you would in normal Punjabi. Was it a restriction of the Gurmukhi Penti, or the accent of Punjabi at the time...I do not know. However for such words or lines, I have just stuck to the way its written in the Bani and not adopted the way I think it should be pronounced.

    What do others think?

No !!!!! ............thats going to far, S's and j's such be pronounced as they are ie s as s etc

  5. theres no way you can read every sihari and onkar as the flow of the paat becomes slow and broken it loses its chaal. I believe they are there for arth purposes. I would emphazise not to read them. Just look at how slow and be -ras Bhagat Jasvant Singh Dodar Canadavale's paat is who read all the siharee's and onkar' and then see how beautiful the jaap is by Bhai Jarnail Singh Damdami TaksalVal

  6. are you sure your citation from PPP is correct....it seems like the parsang of Ghanni Khan and Nabhi Khan and Sri Guru Gobind Singh Jee enacting as an Uch Da Pir after machiwara......Here meat was offered by muslims as halaal meat and Sahib Sri Guru Gobind Singh jee turned it into Pancha Amrit Karah Parshad. At machiwarra Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji offered coins to a man to stop him from exposing the Guru to the evil regime. Guru Sahib eventually did chatka stroke with his shamsheer sword and killed him.

PPP has got a lot of mistakes in it like Singh's drinking tons of sukh nidaan

  7. The soul suffers by taking on different bodies to settle the accounts of the actions committed, be it good or bad. In Japji Sahib it is stated that repeated actions become engrained and form sanchit karam. This is an excellent topic and very deep to answer, only a true scholar could give a detailed answer as all aspects of Sikhism have to be looked at; the philosophy of karam and atma, and maya etc. In Gurbani it is also stated that the 5 evils kaam, krodh, lobh, moh, ankaar are like illegal squatters who rob the soul, because you have not put naam into the soul....... and they force you to committ sins, but when you die the 5 evils laugh and go somewhere else but the soul has to suffer the consequences of its actions.

Not until the human enters the fourth stage will he overcome the sufferings (and happiness) the soul has to indue by taking physical forms. These can be also any of the 84 million life species aswell.

  8. vaheguru ji ka khalsa, vaheguru ji ki fateh,

I was reading up on the life of Siri SatGuru Arjan Dev Ji and came across the following video and article which I found interesting.

I never knew that Siri SatGuru Arjan Dev Ji asked Baba Sri Chand for his input in completing Sukhmani.

Can somebody shed some more light on this please???

    http://www.sikhiwiki...ex.php/Sukhmani

here are some comments in the youtube video section

Baba Sri Chand, the elder son of Guru Nanak, came to Amritsar to meet Guru Arjan, who was engaged in writing Sukhmani. The Guru had completed sixteen astpadis (verses) and requested that he continue the composition. Baba Sri Chand recited the salok i — “adi sachu, jugadi sachu; hai bhay sachu, Nanak hosi bhay sach." The mantra can be recited to get you "unstuck" when you are facing a block in yourself.

Correction:- Baba Siri Chand went to Amritsar to meet Guru Ram Das ji and Guru ji bowed to him in reverence and humility and it was there where the Raj Jog throne was also given to Guru Ram Das ji.While reciting/composing Sukhmani sahib, Guru Arjan Dev ji stuck on a pauri and went to Baba Siri Chand ji (Gurdwara Barath Sahib) to let it keep flowing then Baba Siri Chand gave Aad Sachu Jugaad Sachu Hai bhay sach nanak hosi bhai sach

P.S- This katha was in one of the audios by SSS j

At the4 moment i am listening to Sukhmani Sahib katha by Giani Gurbachan Singh JI Khalsa. The first mp3 files discusses this topic, Baba Ji states that the 5th master requested Sri Chand to write towards Guru Granth Sahib but Sri Chand declined out of humility. However, upon the insistance of the 5th Satguru, Sti Chand repeated his fathers words from the mool mantra.

To suggest Gurbani got stuck is the most disrespectful thing you can say about our Satguru's. Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji were God himself taking the form of human body (the bhatts clearly state this), to suggest Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji has not the ability to complete Gurbani and that it has become stuck is a complete contrast to the Satguru's limitless shakti.

  9. This is believable for the reason.

It's quite obvious PAL07 has an agenda and hates a particular group and will find a way to wiggle his bias into the equation.

Provide proof or you're simply slandering Bhai Kahn Singh Nabha and the Mahapursh Brahmgyanis who are in the photo.

Bhai sahib please dont make up assumptions about me and come to your own conclusions. I have only ever said that it is wrong to spread doubts about Guru Granth Sahib Ji, and have named those people and groups involved in this. This has now gone to such a bad extent that even Panj Piareh at certain Amrit Sanchaars are saying "you are not to read Rag Mala it is 'kanjaree di bani' (the writings of a prostitute)."

Once an AKJ Singh who is a relation of mine came from America to see us. He spent an hour trying to fool me into believing Rag Mala is not Gurbani. It hurts and upsets me that a great jathebandi such as that of the AKJ have hardcore Singh's who doubt and preach doubt about Gurbani. I have merely raised this topic and put it in the public domain, i dont have no hate or agenda but will continuwe to speak the truth.

If you listen to the larivaar katha by Sant Gurbachan Singh Ji Bindravale he talks in detail about the mangalacharan issue and also critcises Kahn Singh Nabha. I cant remember the exact mp3 file but when i listen to Baba Ji's katha again and i come across it, i will post it.

  10. When is Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji's birthday this year. I been told its on 28th November, but i remember reading somewhere that Sant Baba Nand Singh said Sri Guru Nanak came to be an Avtar on 21st November at 12.21am.

very sad........as i myself was unaware of this but kattak pooranmashi has past by, we are following some calendar date or whenever it suits the clergy

  11. The photo was taken on the 11th September 1959 at gurdwara Akhand Prakash Bhinder Kalan. Great Sant Mahapurkhs held an urgent meeting regarding the changing of Guru Granth Sahib Jee's Mangals by the SGPC. These great souls of the panth would not tolerate the beadbi of Guru Granth Sahib Jee and stopped it happening.

There were several sant sanmelans during this time.....Sant Jawala Singh Ji Maharaj decided upon forsaking his body as a sacrifice to uphold the satkaar of GuruGranth Sahib Ji because of this mahaan beadbi....there were also attempts to omit the banis of the bhatts and saints aswell as Raag Mala and other chapters of Guru Bani, the culprits were the bhausaria minded people and their "vidvaans" such as Khan Singh Nabha
