You need to wakeup why do you think these Pakis are going out with the Sikh women ( who are blind) its to have sex with them or to convert them. Just because you have not heard of someone converting does not mean it will not happen or has happened. I ask all my Sikh brothers and sisters in America and Canada to be more proactive and become aware of these cases, and stop this problems before they occur. Just take the UK as an example. Sikhs in the America and Canada need to take this problem more seriously and make it the top one on the priority list as these problems will occur in the respective counties. kds1980 - Listen you probably have some real liberal cousins, who are so liberal they have fallen into the realm of stupidity, these problems also occur with other religions such as HINDUS and MUSLIMS maybe you know of some of these cases also. Are you're cousins marrying people from differnet religions or Sikhs which are clean shaven? If they are marrying out of religion then , which religion do they marry into? I still find it hard that your cousin sisters have married to so called "non-SIkhs" weather in the PIND or Cities, even in Cities this does not go on people that try are locked down. The girl that was been physically assulted was the guy a clean shaven Sikh? soorma84 - I disagree not all Sikhs are wimps, there are wimps from all religions look at these Pakis they are wimps when they are by themselves but they seem to grow in strengthen when they are in a gang of there extreamist brothers but even then are wimps, the Hindus in this countries are beyond wimps and just bend over. The Blacks are just so "high" all the time and workout all the time as they do not work, that they are up for it most of the time. I actually think "Whites" are the hardest , when I was younger I thought they were wimps, but they are hard as nails. At the end of the day, the GURU has told us to "SAINT Warriors", if we simple listen to the GURU we can become the ultimate human-being and do not need anyone else. My advice is "think hard" and " workout hard" go to the gym, go kickboxing, go MMA, go wrestling, etc. The GURU has ordered us to be phsycally and metally fit. It should be the Sikh race which are invincible, like we were in the past, not any other group.

One thing we have to be aware of also is , the Indian authorities have a interest in causing trouble between the Sikh and Muslim communties abroad like in the UK. Why because they know the respective communties are a threat to them in terms of lobbying the western goverments on issues such as human rights, so instead they make the enemies of the India state fight aginst each other . Indian Agencies like the BJP and RSS take advantge of this. The last entry made by kds1980 , have you any evidence of this, there maybe a few cases, but not as many as you are trying to indicate. The fact is in India if a woman from a drifferent religion marries into another she is dead the next day.

I tell you why this is all happening , its becuase we are weak SIKHS and are not even worthy of kissing the dust of our ancestors let alone bowing our heads to the Guru Granth Sahib. WE Sikhs have to stand up to be counted and stop moaning about cases that we do not do anyhting about, and I absolutley hate this attuide of "giving in " that some Sikhs have, normally saying that "if God wants this way then this is the way it should go" I feel this is a pathetic attuide, our GURUS taught us to standup for each other and not fear anyone. STOP MOANING OR DO SOMETHING these are the options we have . OK I agree the Punjabi culture has alot of failings, but so do other cultures . The muslims culture is the worse of them all . G-Kaur talks about a young lady running away and her father disowning her, this is exactly what muslims want the old support structure of her Sikh family rejecting her, once she had told them that she was pregant by a Mulslim, the young lady has fallen into a trap. Now all the young lady can do is turn to the Muslim, and she will find it really hard to talk to her family again. If she is pregant and her family will not except her, why can't the Gurdwara's help her and keep her away from these mulsims and accept the unborn child as Sikh, the sangat should stop thinking this is just "standard " and common. We need to stop this, before it is your daughter. All we have to do is have the basic belief that we should not trust muslims no matter what weather someone knows about the GURU's teaching or not. Lets discuss , experiences of these cases. Jagmeet you have stated you know of cases , how many cases have you experienced? How bad is the situation , is it really that bad?

We need to deal with this topic once and for all, there is no point our community continually repeating itself. The problem we face is we do nothing about htis issue, thats why its an important topic and thats why we get angry. We need : - Stats - Evidence that we can take to police so that it can be investigated. - We need evidence of forced convertions, blackmail , rape, drugging and prosistutuion here and abroad. The problem is not enough of the Sikh community care, if the majority of Sikhs cared then none of this would happen. What do you think? When it comes down to it we Sikhs face 2 option, either we getup like our ancestors did and take a stand, OR we stand in the corner crying and moaning ! I WANT THE FIRST OPTION
