Lt General SK Sinha, who twice refused to attack Sri Darbar Sahib, in 1982 and 1983. He also refused to attack Damdami Taksal headquarters at Mehta Chownk. For his refusal to obey Indira Gandhi , Sinha was not installed as Indian Army Chief, instead he was superseded by a Junior A S VAIDYA and Vaidya finally carried out Indira Gandhi's plan to attack Sri Darbar Sahib and Massacre Sikhs. General Sinha also believed that both India and Pakistan should give up claim on each other's territory and accept LOC in Kashmir as International border to bring peace in Sub-continent. This noble soul passed away yesterday and his funeral was held today in Delhi.
