" Dr Amedkar was very curious to become Sikh along with his large followers. He made ceaseless efforts to attain this goal. But, he was encircled by the then circumstances and situations, besides betrayal by certain people in his group and deceitful and mean tactics used by the then deceitful, Braminical leaders led by Mohan Das Karam Chand Gandhi. Others included were Rao Bahadur MC Raja, Dr BS Munje, Raj Gopal Achyriya, Madan Mohan Malviya, etc. Sikhs response to his wish to join the Khalsa Panth was definitely positive.
