  1. A pahari bibi lives in a village in kullu district in himachal Pradesh. She was in extreme poverty. Her husband had expired some years back. She used to go to Gurdwara Manikaran Sahib on weekends and get a good langar meal and fresh milk. One day some nihangs visited gurdwara Manikaran Sahib. This bibi was attracted towards their blue banaa. She bowed in front of them and told them that she is very sad in life and is in extreme poverty. Nihangs gave her some money and told her to visit them in Anandpur Sahib. She visited them in Anandpur Sahib. Nihangs made her bow in front of Guru Granth Sahib and taught her paatth of mool mantar and brahm kavach and told her to do 6 maalas of each daily. She started to do the same. In a short time, one of her son got a good trucking job and other son got job in a local hotel. In couple of years time they came out of poverty. In those 2 years, this bibi started doing 8-9 hours of mool mantra and brahm kavach. After 2 years, she again went to Anandpur Sahib and fell at the feet of nihang Sikhs. She wanted to get baptized. Nihangs got her amrit chakk and gave her training of gurmukhi and how to do gurbani paatth. At present, this bibi does 12-14 hours of simran and gurbani paatth daily and is inspiring her fellow villagers to become Sikhs.
