How were they able to show this much power of numbers showing the Indian congress party the strength of Sikhs. And now if you look at the situation Sikhs do not congregate in large numbers unless its a religious event like vaisakhi, gurpurb or something. The only time Sikhs got 500,000 was during sarbat khalsa in 26th april 1986. So has the time come to call a sarbat khalsa? Can Sikhs again drew enough numbers like in the past?
