I'm thinking, with all of the emphasis on travelling abroad at least two times a year (even for economically constrained chav types). All the importance put on socialising (pubs, restaurants, clubs, bars, concerts etc.) with the related economic reliance. All of the international flights taken to various destinations to fulfill promiscuous desires i.e. Ibiza, Bangkok etc. All the taking for granted what we find on supermarket shelves. Does the emergence of coronavirus (and possible future variants) herald a point of no return for the widespread indulgence of this sort of lifestyle?
