  1. After Super Tuesday, Americans are frantically Googling move to Canada http://www.vox.com/2016/3/2/11146024/move-to-canada-super-tuesday
  2. Being celibate has its merits as well as demerits similar to a Grehasti. http://igurbani.com/?shabadid=5210&id=58534#bmb=1 Majority is neither Dharmi householder nor Attachment-free Bairaagi. So people in Grey Area are classified as Abhaagi or unfortunate. They might call themselves Householders or Renunciates but they are hypocrites.
  3. A shocking news story about a racially motivated assault on a young Sikh boy in Melbourne A shocking news story about a racially motivated assault on a young Sikh boy in Melbourne. Sikh Youth Australia will be putting together a legal team to follow up the incident and ensure the appropriate response from authorities. Our thoughts and prayers are with the affected family. A terrified schoolboy has told how he was tormented and punched for wearing a turban in a shocking attack on a Doncaster bus. Video available at https://www.facebook.com/AuSikhs/posts/978285695551840
  4. Fine but unless some big shot gives order, supervisors will not analyse recordings, spot the clips & edit. No sgpc employee will dare release official coverage without green signal from above. Anyway I hope that ailing & suffering do get better after Darshan of GuruSahib ji.
  5. Why would sgpc edit, release & circulate cctv clips in public ? Gain & loss is for traders Sikh Sangat must only be concerned whether it's TRUE. I know that the Almighty killed Kennedy, Guru Arjan Dev ji, Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib ji and so on. The One Lord Himself destroys and also preserves. ਮਾਨੁਖ ਕੈ ਕਿਛੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਹਾਥਿ ॥ Maanukh Kai Kishh Naahee Haathh || मानुख कै किछु नाही हाथि ॥ Nothing at all is in the hands of mortal beings.
  6. This has been on my mind for some time, has the present system produced Khalsa's or Khassi's ? What sort of a hero is one who is afraid to face the battle? What sort of satee is she who, when her time comes, starts collecting her pots and pans? ||1||
  7. I think her parents should send her to grand parents home for change. Nanke or Dadke. This will put time & space between them which can help to forgive n forget.
  8. I too am skeptical. Why was camera focused on Sevadar/relative while carrying this person ? Who shot the video & how did they catch three different shots 1) wheel chair ferrying 2) Sevadar/relative carrying the person 3) sitting & standing in front of Guru ji It is not possible to cover all three within a matter of five, ten minutes by one camera unless it was Planned propaganda!
  9. Let Sangat judge for themselves whether they want to support or not. In general I would like to see all Gurdwara Committees round the world to change every term. Look at Punjab & Sgpc and learn from mistakes. Sangat should opt for change & deny individuals in power to become even more powerful ! Frankly Gurdwara elections is waste of money & energy. As per Sikh history Panthic matters should be sort as per Tat Khalsa & Bandhei Khalsa method. If not then to crush ego, law of the land should appoint office bearers from various class, caste, intellect, occupation to serve a fixed non extendible term. There is no point forming a committee which is anti government as no plans will get sanctioned. Now if your family member is contesting then forget what you read above & hire a spin doctor to swing votes :-)
