I'm not sure why I think this, maybe it's from my minimal understanding of Gurbani or my own thoughts alone: I always think of the mind as something which can be corrupted, which has a lot of useless thoughts/ideas, which I use for work/study. I think of the soul as something purer, something which has a connection with God.

Sikhism isnt just about fighting and dying and becoming a shaheed every two seconds. The whole point of life is about LIVING LIFE. What point is there to it if you actively go out looking for a fight which you can get involved in (right or wrong). The primary job of a khalsa is to live a 'pure' life. Fighting for good causes is just one of them.

for those who have said it doesnt matter who organises the amrit sanchar (singh bling, k_z), be honest now, if the day before you took amrit, there was an amrit sanchar organised by akj, would you have taken amrit?
the answer is so obviously no. your views reflect the views of damdami taksal jatha therefore why would you take amrit where the rehit given opposes your views.
there have been posts before asking for an amrit sanchar organised by taksal, may i ask where was khalistan zindabad ans singh bling then? why didnt you two tell the person not to bother about jatha then?

No? I have not fully mastered the swaas giraas technique. Amrit russ: i'll give you a hint to what it is, the taste is exactly like amrit that we take from khanda bhata di amrit, but can only be achieved through naam abhyaas and letting go of gossip/back biting/hate/jealousy
