It is indeed a great blessing from the Guru that this centenary falls in our lifetime. The Quadrennial Centenary (400th) of the installation of Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj the Divine light of the 10 Kings (the repository of spiritual knowledge & embodiment of Shabad Guru doctrine) in the Sri Harmandar Sahib at Sri Amritsar falls in this very year. Lets not drift away from Guru Sahib, to any pakhandi/Fake Guru, like Numahalia’s ashutosh, Bhanianrianwala’s, Radha Soami’s, Nirankari’s, Darshan Dassia’s, Naamdhari’s or any jadoo toone wale (Black Magic), or any idols or superstitious fakes, who have just one intention of leading us away from the truth (Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji) and fill our minds with lies & hatred against the Granth Panth. Sikhs From Across the country and many from over the world will be uniting in london to remember the sacrafices and injustice against Sikhs since 1984 up until this day! 1984 (the year of the darkest year in modern Sikh history) the attack on the Sri Harmandir Sahib (the Holiest Sikh shrine), by the Indian government, killing thousands of innocent Pilgrims (over 250,000), then just funded a total wipeout of Sikhs In delhi and other states and still having innocent Sikh youth in the Jails around India (around 70,000) and then came Black November after the assasination of indira ghandi by Shaheed Bhai Beant Singh Ji and Shaheed Bhai Satwant Singh ji And Shaheed Bhai Kehar Singh Ji, Sikhs Were Killed In their Thousands across Delhi and other areas where Sikhs were a minority! So Come Let us unite and let the world know that our wounds have not healed! let them know that Khalsa Is awake! let the world know that it has been 20 years and we have no received no justice whatsoever. Sikh Federation U.K.(Birmingham Branch – Guru Nanak Gurdwara Smethwick) 16th May 2004 RE: BBC Asian Network Program Tuesday 11th May 2004 at 10.00am Presented by Sonia Deol The Sikh Federation UK Birmingham Branch would like to express how disgusted it felt after hearing of what had been said on Tuesday 11th May 2004 on the BBC Asian Network program presented by Sonia Deol. The comments made by a young girl (who wasn’t a Sikh), who was talking on live on air deeply saddened, shocked and created anger in Sikhs across the country. The girl clearly spoke wrong and against the Sikh religion and against Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and against Sikh Guru’s yet, she had said that she had studied the Sikh religion but could not even pronounce Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji’s name correct and called him “Guru Nanak Singh” which was not stopped by Sonia, live on air. The Federation Birmingham Branch totally condemn all action, we condemn the comments made by the caller (young girl), the action taken by the Presenter Sonia Deol and by the BBC. Religious hated was preached on the BBC Asian Network. If this has happened now, how do we know this will not happen again? Production Teams are said to have done research, but how? When there is not a single Sikh in your Production team? We would like you to take action on this very serious matter.
