Thats wicked Singh! Does it mention Bhai sahib Randhir Singh in the same records/logs as well? It would be awesome to know that the British have a record of Bhai Sahib visiting Shaheed Bhagat Singh as well.

All jails must keep a log of all people who come to visit prisinors, which must have been especially true during British Raj. I've heard a lot of arguments both ways about Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh visiting Bhagat Singh. To clear up this debate, wouldn't it be easier to get hold of the visitor's logs at around the approximate time that Bhai Sahib went to visit him. Does anybody know if this has already been done?

Nihangs believe that hooka refers only to smoking (ie tobacco) and bhang is (and always has been) exempt. Question for anyone that knows: how long have Singhs been drinking bhang at Hazoor Sahib? I saw a picture where the 'bhata' (?) that they use was actually built into the ground at this Gurdwara, suggesting that it had been there for many, many years. Also, Hazoor Sahib was never under British rule, so can we take their maryada to be unaffected by outside influences (eg Hindus, British)?
