    Soohee, Fifth Mehl:

Where is that place, where You are never forgotten, Lord?

Twenty-four hours a day, they meditate on You, and their bodies become spotless and pure. ||1||

O my Lord, I have come searching for that place.

After seeking and searching, I found Sanctuary in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy. ||1||Pause||

One who practices the Teachings of the Saints, by Guru's Grace, is carried across. ||1||Pause||

    Malaar, Fourth Mehl:

The Ganges, the Jamunaa, the Godaavari and the Saraswati - these rivers strive for the dust of the feet of the Holy.

Overflowing with their filthy sins, the mortals take cleansing baths in them; the rivers' pollution is washed away by the dust of the feet of the Holy. ||1||

Instead of bathing at the sixty-eight sacred shrines of pilgrimage, take your cleansing bath in the Name.

When the dust of the feet of the Sat Sangat rises up into the eyes, all filthy evil-mindedness is removed. ||1||Pause||

Bhaageerat'h the penitent brought the Ganges down, and Shiva established Kaydaar.

Krishna grazed cows in Kaashi; through the humble servant of the Lord, these places became famous. ||2||

And all the sacred shrines of pilgrimage established by the gods, long for the dust of the feet of the Holy.

Meeting with the Lord's Saint, the Holy Guru, I apply the dust of His feet to my face. ||3||

And all the creatures of Your Universe, O my Lord and Master, long for the dust of the feet of the Holy.

O Nanak, one who has such destiny inscribed on his forehead, is blessed with the dust of the feet of the Holy; the Lord carries him across. ||4||2||

I humbly request you to read the mahan vismaadh arth of Maharaj di pavitar Bani in this pothi Gareebi Pothi Go to Ang 94, you can also listen to the arth in this track: Shabad Arth The recording starts at ang 89.

Guruvah u are not spoiling the thread at all, it is very important to read sukhmani sahib and pay attention to what Guru Sahib Says Bout the Lachan (Qualities) of a Brahamgiani!

  3. Sangat Ji,

Please visit Gursevak and read the pothiya for FREE online along with the recordings,

Bhagat ji (Baba Jaswant Singh Ji) has no desire to obtain any worldy wealth, Baba ji just wants to spread Guru Sahibs Word in the form of Arth and Sakhiya so that we can connect back to our Mool (God)

Another thing they focus on is teaching Santhiya especially to the Youth, So that our coming Generations don't loose this amolak gem of Shudh Ucharan.

If you live in BC, Bhagat ji is there rite now,,, I fall at your charan and humbly request you to go meet this Guru ka Piyara who learned in the charan of Dhan Dhan Sant Gurbachan Singh Ji Khalsa,,

You can get hard copies of Pothiya directly from Bhagat ji if you go see them, and they will give u alot of encouragement to walk towards Guru Sahib,,

Waheguru i can't even explain how much Love they showered on this maha-moorakh,,, its a quality of God, Daya (Mercy) to even pick up the most dirtiest fallen kaljugi jeevs,,

Waheguru there is sooooo much peace in reading these pothiya----- Play the Gareebi Pothi in the car and/or have it Play in your house 24/7, Gareebi Pothi

For Parents-- Read Punj Sankar Pothi-- Janam Sanskar---Section 2: details the conduct for the birth of a child. It covers from the initial ardaas for a child and covers up to raising the child (womb ardaas, health care, Amrit, nameing the child, method of raising the child etc). It is supported by examples from GuruSahib’s time and complemented with the lives of many Gurmukhs.

    Punj Sankar Pothi

If you want to speak to Babaji you can contact BC singhs and ask them for Baba Jaswant Singh Ji (bhagat Jis) number, that way you can find out where they are staying and go visit them and pick up pothiya,,, there are alot of new pothiya that just got printed such as Health Pothi, Bal Updesh(in detail learning of Shudh Ucharan) and Sloak Bhagat Kabir Sahib Jee, Bhagat Farid Sahib Jee. Ang (1364 to 1384) Steek

    :)

  4. Waheguru-- all rehat maryadas can be found online,,, i read through the rehat maryada be4 taking amrit and it was identical,

Dhan Dhan Sant Kartar Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale

Waheguru i almost forgot,, If u have a recorder on ur MP3 or phone i dont see whats wrong with recording Punj Piyarey talking bout rehat, i think its a GREAT idea,, cuz we do forget,,

then we'll have backflashes ohh yeaa punj piyarey said to wake up at Amrit Vela,,,

    Great Idea

    SHABASHHH

  5. LifeInBeautiful,, the purpose of a Elevated Soul and Spiritual teacher is to help us on our path by encouraging us to read bani-- which is extremely hard becuz there are soo many distractions,,

Sat Sangat is a School where u learn about the path of spirituality of those who have already treaded the path and passed all the tests,

So u can just imagine, one meeting with a True Gurmukh is life changing, their eyes are pure and full of Amrit, Their sweet words break through our ego and pierce our heart,,

We have alot of blockages inside us such as doubts that dont let us walk towards Guru Sahib,, A Sant is one who holds are hand and brings us back into Guru Sahibs Charan Sharan,

All the treasures are found in being the dust of the feet of Guru Sahibs sevaks

  6. Bhai Sahib bhai Jeevan Singhs house=

so figure out where Guru Gobind singh ji NRI sara is--- from there u would head towards the main road -- then go right----- if u go left that would lead u to one of the entracnes of darbar sahib

so when u go right it'll be a straight route- theres lil stores to the right and garden to ur left

when u first see a street going into the houses from the right ask the dakhan guy--he makes keys--- to where by sahibs house is,,

i dont rmeber which gali it was but on the house it says Bhai Sahibs name above the door, and u will ring the doorbell and say u have come to meet bhai sahib,,

i met them a couple of months ago

i wrote bout my experience in another thread:

    My link

another thing,, in india everyone asks around for directions and stuff so dont be shy,, When u say sumones name if they know of them they will surely tell u where they live, so dont be worried if u dont get exact directions, just ask around the area,

  7. vjkaram, who is N30?

Becuase u have the thirst in your heart to meet a brahamgiani u will surely meet many, u will see the sparkle for amrit in their eyes, and when they speak it will be pure straight from the heart/hirda

Just walking into the aura of a Brahamgiani will enlighten you :)

read sukhmani sahibs pauriya about bhrahamgiani and saadh sangat,, this wil give u more sharda trust and prem bout the sangat of such elevated souls :)

  8. Bhenji that was a really beautiful post, bless you<3

It reminded me of this shabad from Asa-di-//:

Those who are false within, and honorable on the outside, are very common in this world.

Even though they may bathe at the sixty-eight sacred shrines of pilgrimage, still, their filth does not depart.

Those who have silk on the inside and rags on the outside, are the good ones in this world.

They embrace love for the Lord, and contemplate beholding Him.

In the Lord's Love, they laugh, and in the Lord's Love, they weep, and also keep silent.

They do not care for anything else, except their True Husband Lord.

Sitting, waiting at the Lord's Door, they beg for food, and when He gives to them, they eat.

There is only One Court of the Lord, and He has only one pen; there, you and I shall meet.

In the Court of the Lord, the accounts are examined; O Nanak, the sinners are crushed, like oil seeds in the press. ||2||

  9. thanx for all the help :)

i think its going to be more complex if i am teaching a gora-sikh,

so they have been in sikhi for a long time which means they understand phrases that are used over n over again but for punjabis we are born in a punjabi family so its really really easy to understand punjabi and with lil bit practice its easy to upgrade our punjabi,

The focus of the one on one class would be just teaching conversational punjabi

    hmmm :umm:

  10. Wjkk wjkf!

So i am very fluent in punjabi which means i can read, write, speak punjabi,,

Soo, Sumone wants me to teach them how to speak conversational punjabi but i have no idea how or where to start?

    Any ideas??

or like is there sum kind of english teacher curriculum thingy i could use towards teaching how to speak punjabi,,

I am teaching sumone who understands punjabi but speaks very poorly and doesn't understand big words,,

    :D thanks!!

 please reccomend books you know of that coulod be of help,

  11. what sunsingh is talkin bout is poogarey sholayy say that to ur mom and she'll kno what ur talking bout, good source of vitamin A which means its good for ur eye sight and it has alot of energy so theyre sprouted kaley sholay, and just get them to sprout and then make normal dhaal so loon haldi jeera, without thorka is the best,

onion is tamo gun, also onions increase kaam energy so do raw soybeans so thats why they shouldnt be eaten alot like sum ppl eat a handle of raw red onion with roti,

lemon achar really good for ur stomach digestion

Watermelon!!!! best fruit to eat on a hot day itll cool u donw and quench ur thirst, all other fruits are awsome too ;)

hmm so organic daleeya i think that would maybe be called cracked wheat not sure, but make it in the slow cooker in milk or water,

and then add punjabi shakar or sugar for taste and add raw spoon of butter,,

dont let ur mom fry/toast the daleeya in oil or butter, raw is best. so add butter after :)

eat badams,, all type of nuts walnuts, pumpkin seeds,,

and like on the internet u can find out what ur dosha is so pitha vata or kapha,

so u can do the quiz and find out then read through what foods are good for your body make so ur element i guess

    Whats your Dosha

so this is ayurvedic, healthy diet, yoga diet stuff,

Yoga diet is what u want to eat,,,, but why ??? becuz simple foods are easy to digest and u feel good after eating em

after eating heavy foods like frenchfries and cheese allot of ur energy is wasted digesting ur food so u will have less energy and processed foods arent gonna give u nutrients basically empty carbs,

    "Good Food

    Good Mood"

    - Bhagat ji (Baba Jaswant Singh ji)

bhul chuk maff sorry for my horrible use of vocabulary :BL:

  12. Waheguru ji,

My answers gonna be kinda blunt straightforward but i unno how else to explain why a kashera must have a nala,

so back when singhs would fight it wars, u wouldnt want to have a elastic kashera that could just slip off,

The way Guru Sahib created the technology is great,

wherever u tie ur kashera i wont move, and it gives full coverage!

And if a amritdhari bibi fell into a situation where sumone is trying to take advantage of her, the Kashera wil help her soooooo much,

    boxers, underwear just slips off,

And the colour White Symbolizes Purity and High Moral Character,

Theres a sakhi i 4get the details but singhs had there hugeeeee long kachera hung up to dry during the night and the enemy thought the kachera were tents from far away soo they got scared!!

KAschera is comfortable, easy movement, i just love it!

  13. Bibya in Punj Piyare has been discussed plenty of times on this forum there was another thread also that had videos and had alot of insight to both sides so really theres no point to re-discuss this topic,

  14. hahaha theres always a good and bad,

YEs sum ppl get stuck with a partner that doesnt walk on the path of sikhi, and maybe they looked like they did becuz looks are decieving,

it is kalara if we make it a mess,

so we making a mess would be dating every girl in town HAHAHAHa-- u kno what i mean vikaar dristi naal kuriyaa dekhi janeeya, not cool and not good for ur eyes,

if its a nice bibi she wont like u becuz she can see the ghand/dirt on ur eyes,

respect everyone as a sister, Maharaj apay rista karlogay thru family/ gursikhs,

jsut dont get excited that just causes us to fall becuz our mun becomes kaala(fast) so when we do things in a hurry that is usually when we make a mistake (like driving for example-better safe than sorry! happened to me today worst highway driving day ever lol)

me persoanlly i would never want a girlfrend they Pi** me off soooooooo much, they say to their bf--get me this get me that,, ohh u never think bout me why didnt u do this,, always complaining and wanting attention,

Bhaji i kno exactly what ur talking bout as to why even bother getting married, U can take 2 paths, dont get married but for a single man with hormones ur gonna have trouble controlling so u gonna need alot of abhyaaaaaas and kirpa, on the other side u do get married--- that does not mean kuli shooti( ur free to do w/e) u still have to control kaam, I heard in KAtha Mahapursh Dhan Dhan Giani Gurbachan Singh ji said that a women-Suhaagan should not see anyone as a man but her husband, she does not have the desire to look upon anyone else--

As for a Male-- ur are only to see ur wife as a women, everyone else is family-sisters,mothers,daughters

Sum ppl there minds are so dirty every where they look they have kaam furney, thats groseness to the max, its sooooo bad man its KALJUG,, i was innocent about this but Maharaj made it clear to me, that even Guys that are 30 year olds they look upon teenage girls in a bad way,, thats disgusting

And girls tell me they see uncles married men with older children,, looking at them with their dirrty eyes, :o

Oh Satyug why cant we go back to u, when everyone spoke truth
