Here is exactly what you do..... 1) Rip the video portion using smartripper. 2) Demultiplex using TMPEG. 3) At this point your audio and video should synch. However the audio is in AC3 format. So now convert the audio to WAV using ac3 decoder http://www.mediatwins.com/. Make sure your settings are 48Khz 2 channel stereo. At this point you should be able to import the Mpeg file and audio to vegas, and they will synch. If you need to re-encode to a lower bit rate, use TMPEG 3.0, its the best

It is a 2 DVD set whereas Disc 1 is a 3 hour lecture held at UC Berkeley with three speakers, the main speaker being Sardar Simranjit S Mann. Disc 2 is entitled "Quest For Freedom...A Look Back" and is essentially a compilation of many of the different things floating around different websites. It features a 1,000 photo picture gallery of the Khalistan Movement '78-'93, 1 hour speach by Sant Jarnail Singh Khalsa Bhindranwale, part of the 60 Minutes interview of Sant Bhindranwale by Harry Reasoner, 1 hour video on police torture and fake encounters, part of the special feature from Hawayein (which Bollywood Entertainment also made onto DVD).

To All The Sikh Sangat, This is my first posting since I announced the Quest For Freedom DVD. And I would like to say that it is an absolute travesty and injustice that this site decided to delete the Saint Soldier section due to the Bolan controversy. Due to the wrong comments of 1 person, people like myself who enjoyed logging on everyday and reading the postings in this section are now denied access to this section. We say we want Khalistan, but I hate to say that such actions as this will never get us there. To the Admin, monitor comments more closely, but you should not have killed a fly with a hammer. God only knows how we will achieve Khalistan when we are too scared to even mantain the Saint Soldier section due to one reporter who is a nutcase. The way it can be achieved is to be brave, and not be scared to say what really happened in the Sikh holocaust, as Bollywood Entertainment did in the Quest For Freedom DVD, which incidently sold out with 3,000 units shipped so far.

The DVD is a two DVD set....Disc 1 features a three hour lecture by three individuals. The main speaker being Sardar Simranjit S. Mann. The seminar was held at the campus of UC Berkely. The seminar delves into the history of the previous Sikh Empire, and why the previous empire was actually temporarily suspended by the British, and thus technically lays in suspension. Mr. Mann goes into discussion on the Punjabi Suba movement, and other Sikh Morcha's, and of course the events of 1984. This disc is not dramatic, but very informative, and is intended to provide information to the community, and mainly the new generation as to why Khalistan is needed, who are the Khalistani people. The second disc entitled "Quest For Freedom....A Look Back" is a disc that goes thru the Khalsitan movement of 1978-1993. There is a 1,000 photo picture gallery.....the other features are the ones that you would find on saint soldiers.net. The best piece is a 1 hour video from Dateline (Australia), whereas they did an investigative report into the genocide in Punjab. It deals with the Jaswant Singh Khalra abduction and murder, as well as the Punjab gestapo tactics. So this sums up the project. Very nice menus....I will post screen shots of the menus shortly.
