  5. WJKK WJKF Just an idea I came across that makes doing the seva that involves using sttm alot easier and neater, and I thought i'd share it with everyone. Normally when people use sikhitothemax on a projector screen they make it so the projector screen is a duplicate of their own monitor screen. The problem with this is that the slide navigator has to be on the same screen as the powerpoint presentation which can get distracting to the sangat because you have to keep scrolling up and down, and it takes up unnessecary space on the preojector screen. Also, everytime you finish one Shabad and need to search for a second you have to turn off the projector display or else everyone can see you searching, which is more distracting. The solution is to use the projector on a dual monitor or dual display mode, and make it so the projector is acting like an extra monitor that extends your laptop's monitor. That way you can have only the presentation on the projector screen (2nd screen), and the slide navigator on your own screen. With this the slide navigator isnt seen by the sangat. Also you dont have to keep turning off the projector when you search for Shabads because it is in the second screen (which you leave otherwise clear) and all the searching can be done on your own laptop screen, without the sangat seeing. All you have to do is set your laptop to dual screen mode (this depends on make and model, google it!), then when you load a ppt presentation from sikhitothemax, press escape on the presentation and go to powerpoint, then to the toolbar-Slide Show>Set up Show>Show On (then select the 2nd display from the menu). also you can do this seva wirelessly these days, with equipment that cost less than £100(!) http://www.hp-sales.co.uk/products.asp?partno=WPG-100 all about the wireless revolution
