I truely believe that in your opinion you have done no wrong, however i can honestly say i dont believe you are exprressing your thoughts in an appropriate manner.

I to could post pictures of Sikh guys who drink, smoke and do drugs - who sleep with anyone with a pulse. I could focus on the negatives, but instead i choose to respect everyone think of the postives - for all those girls who have stumbled of the Sikh path - there are hundreads more who are still very much on the path. The same is true of the guys in our community, sadly people generally accept that it's ok for guys to be drinking - but by your own definition there are far more male 'sluts' then there are females - because of course guys are always drinking, out on the pull.

I'm happy to say that none of my female peers fit into your stereotype - although most of the guys do, but i hope with time they too will get back on to the learning curve, and find out more about Sikhi. For Sikhi really is a peacefull, tolerant fulfilling religion.

I dont wish to argue, or attack anyone. I will continue on my path and strive to be an honest Sikh, i will help all of my younger Brothers & Sisters when ever i can. As i'm sure that you will too.

And I clearly our sisters in faith do not care to whats happening out there so that is why I do not value their views I do not see them trying to help their own sisters in faith so why should we listen to your opinions. I have not judged ALL sikh girls I made a destinction between religious Sikh girls and punjabi girls.

why you defending the slaggish type, why take offence..

I would give a warning to these punjabi girls to fix up or be exposed for the slags they are because they devalue the reputation of the girls in our community and in turn put off decent guys who in turn seek other (non-sikh) girls because they dont want their kids mothers to be have known as whores.

And no why shud the hi5 references be removed? they expose the type of modern "sikh" punjabi girl today. And its just to do so... if we have "sikh" punjabi guys causing bezthi to our kaum we would do the same so why have double standards? why should we tolerate the antics of girls calim to be sikh yet who damage the image of our sisters in faith.

Its time harsh tactics were adopted to stop the down ward spiral of whats acceptable these days. Years ago girls would not dear to wear these outfits in fear their parents would beat them black and blue, years ago they would not openly drink alcohol and sleep around. If we want that to become the norm.. then dont complain when its becomes the norm to be a s1ut, a male hoe and family values are discarded for non-sikh lifestyle.

Punjabi males need some serious introspection at male punjabi cultural practices before criticizing women. If I was a woman amongst current mindsets of many punjabi males, I would want to run as far away as possible. lol not even a few thousand. I would say a handful at most... afterall nearly all those who convert to islam are females who are weaker sex in emtions and very is to manipulate. You will hardly ever get a case of a Sikh male giving up his faith and converting to Islam even with the temption of sleeping with many a muslim woman. I only heard of one case of a Sikh guy converting to Islam and that was in NWFP pakistan where he did so out of economic and social survival in 99.99% muslim area he did not do it out of religious conviction.

basically to me being a Sikh is to live life in peace and tolerance and follow the wise words and teachings of the SGGS ji. I'm not amrithdari or keshdhari, I cut my hair and shave but I still have love of Sikhi. Because to me my only guru is SGGS ji and nowhere in there does it state one must have uncut hair or apperance of a Khalsa to be a Sikh so its all down to interpretation.

I believe, if you or Sikhs in general are attacked then then you have a right to do to the same to the perpretors as they do to you.

Bro, like it or not, but you will always have sluts, thugs, good guys, good girls etc... in the community. Yes, you're right about how people take advantage of equal rights and justify them when doing some thing negative, but equality is part of the sikh belief.

bro, not all punjabi girls are "slaggish" and there Punjabi girls that do have loyalty towards our community. Also not all "khalsa" type of girls are saints. I understand where you're coming from with this issue though, but I think your solution to this problem is wrong. Also keep in mind that there are sikh guys that fool around a lot too.

Bro the way i see it the female is the queen of the household, but once the house is broken down then the family and kids etc are messed up. We need to go back to the past social order of things but that cant be done with equal rights for womens bullsh*t. So the only way we can change things is exercise our right to go with non-punjabi sikh girls to bring decent gals into our community and in turn let the slags do what slags do and not let them let them have so much power over the future of generation of Sikhs.

Forget them if they religious (khalsa types) then they will find appropriate Khalsa sikh guys. For us lot were stuck with slaggish kind these days. If Sikh punjabi gals (non-khalsa type) showed any loyality they wouldnt be going with non-sikh guys. So their view dont count as their reputation is already in gutter. So the way I see it we dont have any contraints any more and why should we stay loyal when in nature its known that men have more of a sexual desire and programmed to partner up and procreate with more than one female.

Oh please, forget The Tories and Labour, vote for Dr Jasdev Singh an independent candidate who is a Amritdhari Singh with REAL values. He is commited to increasing investment in southall and solving the many problems we face. He isnt after just the sikh vote unlike some other candidates, infact he was outside the southall mosque yesterday talking to Muslims and people from other backgrounds.

The Tories have stuck some multi millionaire who doesnt live in the real world. His kids probably dont go to one of southall's failing schools, he probably doesn't even live in southall.

Why should he represent us? If his radio station is anything like him, then people will just tune out. Sikhs dont need the Tories and Tony Lit, they need a Sikh representing them.

Lets use our vote wisely, and put a true Gursikh in Parliament so he can serve all of southall and not just one group.

Tony lit is a Sikh though not gursikh admittadly. Sikhs need modern people representing them and their communities aspirations not backward committee types who turn a blind eye while their daughters or sisters get drunk and sh@g about like slags. The independants have no power and in turn have little influence, conservatives have a big political cloat.
