Your reasoning is wrong you obviously havent looked to gurbani for an answer just some dodgy rational thinking on your own part.
In bani it mentions numerous times that within your hair you hold power/shakti.guru's grace, im not going to put the quotes up as i believe you should do your own research. Really half assed effort i mean even a search on this forum would lead to your answer
Stop whinging and start doing!

One day during a ride, the Guru halted and knocked at the door of a poor woman and said,"Good lady, I am very hungry, bring me the bread you have prepared." The woman, throbbing with joy, brought out some coarse bread which he partook on horseback, without washing his hands, and relished it very much. He then blessed the woman and cut off the shackles of her transmigration. Next day the Sikhs prepared dainty dishes with great attention to cleanliness and offered them to the Guru at the same hour. He laughed and said,"O Sikhs, I ate food from that woman's hands because she was holy. This food which you have prepared with attention to ancient ceremonial is not pleasing to me." The Sikhs asked,"O true king, yesterday you ate bread on horseback from the hands of an old woman whom you did not know. There was no consecrated space and the food was in every way impure. Today we have prepared the food for you; no impurity is attached to it, yet you reject it. Be kind enough to explain the reason." The Guru replied," The woman with great devotion and faith prepared food for me out of what she had earned from the sweat of her brow. On this account the food was very pure, and I partook of it. The Guru is hungry for love and not for dainty dishes. In the matter of love for God, no rule is recognized. It is not what man eats that pleases God, it is man's devotion that is acceptable to Him."

Think this is a hard question for most people to reply to not having experienced the hardships you have gone through
Keep up with your nitnem and try not to bargain with god ie. the more nitnem you do doesnt automatically mean guru ji should bless you with a child!
I would definetly talk to doctors about any problems and reasons why preganancy is taking so long
Good luck

Normally protests include chanting slogans so as to educate and inform both media and the public attending?

Wow only five although your post answers all the questions above it is incredably ignorant and self sufficing.
Instead of asking others if they listen to katha...perhaps you should open your mind and think if YOUR INTERPRETATIONS are correct
Perhaps instead of reiterating this is a sikh forum you should realise that it i again only your interpretation of gurbani you are putting across it is not gospel instead you are subject to interpretating bani in the same way as us all with bias.
The thing that is prevelant in most of your posts is your ego. We are all brothers and sisters is this how you would speak to your family with snide remarks?

Hit the nail on the head last poster!
Rebel Singh once you start using those slang words and talking that way it is incredibly difficult to get out of the habit, asthe previous poster mentioned we are the youth trying to be something they are not?

so sikhs killed the prime minister is that not a crime which these bodyguards need to be punished for? if some hindues killed a sikh leader surely all sikhs would incite their fellow to kill hindus..
It was a crime and they were punished but there were reasons behind their killing of a tyrant. Are you posting in all the forums about hitlers death and saddams death?
No for unlike you we wouldnt call for the death of all hindus but for people to be tried for their crimes. The singhs who recently killed that <banned word filter activated> from a dera handed themselves in to the police, whereas the masses who killed sikhs still go about there lives and try and forget. Lets you know who the lions though

i dont think smart necessarily means expensive.
True however that if your dressed in joggers and trainers more likely to be classed as the "working feral class"
All about perception and people will be intrigued by seeing well dressed protestors.

agree with a lot of what only five says however unless you live in that persons circumstances than who are we to judge their choices.
Im not saying if your depressed you should be given the chance to kill yourself but each cicumstance should be taken into account sikhi doesnt cover every situation you will ever encounter in life sometimes it comes down to common sense (refer to the case of nanc ruzan below)
Nancy Cruzan lost control of her car one day in January 1983 in Missouri. When the paramedics arrived, they were able to restore her breathing and heartbeat and she was transported, unconscious, to hospital. She continued to be fed through a surgically- implanted gastrostomy tube. After several years, a court found that, although her respiration and circulation continued unaided, she was oblivious to her surroundings except for reflexive responses to sound and perhaps painful stimuli; her brain had degenerated, irreversibly; she was a spastic quadriplegic; she suffered contraction of her four extremities, with irreversible muscle and tendon damage; and had no cognitive or reflex ability to swallow food or water or to maintain her essential daily needs nor would she ever recover such an ability. She lay in persistent vegetative state even though she had told her housemate that, if sick or injured, she would not wish to continue her life unless she could live "at least halfway normal."

wow i can see why your under quality control singh!
more over the nature of the question was based on sikhs choosing to adopt black culture? If you actually read the question you can see it has nothing to do with "gangs" but gangster culture!
I agree the 60/70s had gangs off their own but our parents hardly joined up and SP was actually quite a small number of people.
p.s what exactly is an "oxford mug"....... if your struggling to articulate yourself i guess this section isnt for you!

I dont know if anyone has noticed but a lot of the time i see a lot of young sikhs taking on some parts of the glorified gangster culture.
This is from the way they dress with low jeans and the latest Yeezy 2 trainers to the way they drive s low down in there cars. But easily the most annoying is the way they speak and type "innit", "wagwan", "gwarnin". Even on this forum you see people giving advice using slang language
I myself sometimes easily fall into the trap. But surely we should do something to combat this problem makes us look like a joke.

DisagreeYour comparing something like a runny nose to a period should we not do seva as men then as we could potentially need to urinate at any time? The concept is flawed, and very unfair on bibia. Waheguru gave them this cycle and it seems weird to demonize it as unclean/dirtyThe "curse" of menstruating. Let me try explain a few things, you dont have to agree. The body has 10 orificies, 9 physical on the body and 1 in what we call our dasam dwar - the 10th gate.
Whatever comes from the other 9 are seen as breaking the sucham of the body, so you will see sewadars using hazooria if they need to touch their noses, eyes ears etc. If someone has a runny nose etc, it is better if they dont put themsleves in a position where they might affect suchamta.
Sorry to be crude, but if someone has loose motions and did a fart and followed through they would be sitting there dirty, how many of you would put yoursleves in this position?
The same is with menstruating, women do not know when the orifice is releasing blood, and as such it has been the tradition that when women are affected by this "curse" they dont get into places where suchamta is affected.
This is not just in Gurmat, it is a sankriti that has started from Satyug.

there is a reason euthanasia isnt legalised here for some people would exploit it. All those people who think they have it bad may just go to a clinic and end their lives. However if there was a rigourous process which showed your quality of life was poor and that the chance of improvement was low then i would be for it.

yes indeed osingh is correct for he shall decide who is a gursikh and who is a manmukh?
He has not idea because he lives in a sheltered world but no doubt he gives all his money away for what are materialistic possessions to him? e no doubts pends al his time in a cave away from people just reciting bani for if not he is surely wasting his life? i hope he is not married because he must be overcome by lust?
The world is never as black and white as the above poster would have you believe.
You obviously want to go so go experience it if its not for you dont go again simples
