  1. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! That was an excellent letter none the less. As a first measure of restricting war criminals such as Tytler, I'm sure it would have gone far and been voiced by many in the United States, even organizations not explicitly tied to our religion. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  2. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! The power of the word. An endless joy written between lines and dots of digital ink. Immeasureable joy fills ones heart after reading this. 'Guru Gobind Singh Ji is the soul in every body (151) Guru Gobind Singh Ji is very loving and affectionate Guru Gobind Singh Ji is the light in every eye (152)' Isn't that inspiring? This is immortalization by words alone, how powerful and evoking they can be! And yet even here, these words can never fully capture His generosity, poise, bravery, intelligence, compassion, determination for justice, Waheguru. We are left with only words to describe Him! Yet he extends beyond all meaning our words withold. Instantly he is infinately greater in magnitude than the most revered, poetic and devout prayers too Him. Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji is immortal because he defies the contraints words leave us with, Waheguru. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  3. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! Jaap during Amritvela is the ideal meditation, its true. It exercises our minds our hearts and our metabolism! Its very refreshing! Just reciting 'Satnam Waheguru' over and over brings harmony to the soul. Where ever you are and what ever you are involved with meditation is a great way to connect to Waheguru. And it prepares us best for the things we as human beings face on a daily basis. Oneness with Waheguru. Thankyou for that post! Parnaam to Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji as well, for teaching us: Naam Jaapo Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  4. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! Anyone have any thoughts to my earlier post? I'm eager to discuss it with my veerjis and bhenjis. Please provide your thoughts on the whole post in general. Thank you. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  5. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! Freud stressed that many dreams of this nature of granduer were merely the result of forced repression inflicted on the mind and often could lead to "Dreams that manifested themselves through desires of dialogue and explicit coitus with the person and subject of Divinity." ~ The Interpretation of Dreams, Freud S., pp. 65. Maybe you wish to be nearer your Sant, and you repress it because you don't want to feel selfish because many want to be just as close to such a human being, so you experience these dreams. Just a hunch. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!

  10. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! Given your argument, and in full respect of Dham Dham Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, do you believe that our first Guruji was a Sikh then? If He had the gift of knowing absolute truth and Oneness with Waheguru, wouldn't it have been appropriate for Him to react the same way Guru Gobind Singh Ji would have? Just a question, veerji/bhainji. I mean no disrespect to either Guruji. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  11. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! Sorry for all the confusion, but I assure you that I am not the Tiger of Khalistan. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  12. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! As a symbol the kirpan represents much more than a blade used in a historical battle. Because it was not just a historic battle but a battle of Sikhi ideals. "guru gobind singh je first wrote, but did fight" He fought with words, and he fought on the battlefield, Waheguru. He was an artisan of weaponry of words and ink, which run through paper and men, Waheguru. Our Great Founder Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, never lifted a finger against Khoda Rakhi and Vali Khundari. Gurudwaras were built at the sites where Guru ji encountered them by Him and he encouraged Sikhs to come to these sites and pray for these poor misguided monsters. Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji came before there were kirpans, and He managed to preserve our religion. I mean no disrespect to any Guru, but why do we always reflect on Guru Gobind Singh Ji's teachings and not other Gurujis like our Father Dham Dham Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji ? He fought when there were no weapons to fight with. Why can't we assume we are without weapons and follow His example? Sikhs are all over the world. We are not bound like many other faiths to soil and dirt. That is why Sikhism will survive today and forever. And if we each do parchaar, and teach others about the Sikhi way, Khalistan won't just be a borderline between Pakistan and India, Khalistan will be everything we see in this world. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  13. "Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! There is an issue in Saudi Arabia that Khalistan must work towards preventing if it truly will be a combination of church and state. Many terrorist factions, fundamentalist islamics, if you will, act out in the name of Allah and appropriate very narrow minded beliefs and values that demonize other cultures and people. It's negative prevalence has led to many terrorist acts within the Saudi Empire and across the Muslim world. (We have all heard the recent news of the occupiers that are being attacked all over the middle east as a result of these fanatics). I think that one of the main reasons that the Saudi Government, and many countries of the middle east are held back in apprehending many of these individuals and squashing public sermons propagating fundamentalist views is the fact that the Saudi Government, as well as many Arab nations base their consititution integrally on the Qur'an. Here's my reasoning: The government upholds the laws of the Qur'an which to them are steadfast, absolute and indisputable. All laws and regulations are derived (for better or worse, from the Qur'an). When a terrorist faction uses the same religious scripture as its justification for the assaults it carries out, the government is put almost immediately in a deadlock. I'm sure this is solely on the principle that varying thought and interpretation on something that is understood as absolute amongst many muslims, can lead to religious war. I think that this is prevalent in many religions. St. Luther allowed Christians to interpret their religion in different ways and saw to the end of th e dominance of the Roman Catholic Church. But many different sects of Christianity exist today, and encompass 66 different scriptures. There is heated warfare between Presbytarians and Prodestants in Ireland as an example. Maybe to secure that Khalistan does not fall victim to such warfare amongst those that treat Sikhism fundamentally or moderately, (evidence of this is already prevalent today), we should discuss approaches to appease varying sects into some common understanding. I treat this with all seriousness as Sikhism as with many faiths, communicates absolution through our Immortal Guru Granth Sahib Ji via writen dialogue. We all have the freedom to read a word and see it differently, because in one respect we are all different individuals and bring different backgrounds to our faith. A country that is led by the Immortal Guru Granth Sahib deserves our attention to this matter as we should try and convey universalism in the Khalsa society when it comes to the understanding of our faith. An obvious solution may be to rectify schools sponsored by the many Gurudwaras in Khalistan. But when absolution is decreed via our Holy Immortal Guru, it sometimes cannot be equally made evident to students from a teacher, no matter how well versed that individual may be in our religion. Should we assign a single Sikh that decrees exactly what the Guru Granth Sahib Ji explains and teach that to teachers who then convey it to the masses? This is not unlike the beginnings of the Roman-Catholic Church and its institution as the head of state. And it spurred the beginning of segregation amongst one religion, which I personally view as the separation of absolution from the religion itself. Any ideas as to how we can avoid this? On a side note, I'd like to here your views on this: If a religion sides with absolute truth, (as most do) then shouldn't its discource be interpreted one way? If it isn't, does that mean that because the truth is understood differently by any one person, the religion fails to justify itself as the true path? We can universalize this to any philosophy. Should anything written that sides with absolute truth need stories, and other literary devices to promote absolution? If it is so evident, why 'sugar it up' to get it across? Can any form of literature be absolute truth? I personally believe that the Immortal Guru Granth Sahib Ji is no book but the words of all our Gurus made unerasable by time. But I refuse to believe that any one of us Sikhs can fully understand the True meaning of its dialogue. Do you agree? Thank you. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! " So any views at all?
  14. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! A kirpan is not a weapon. It is a symbol. It symbolizes our ability to stand up for what we believe in. I am not against children standing up for what we as Sikhs believe in. I am against children being taught that the kirpans they wear in honor of our Gurus and Sikh history are just swords to be unsheathed whenever their views are not met with consistent agreement. The edge of the blade of a kirpan is the sharpness of justice. They kirpan is meant to train the mind to be just as sharp and exact in the search for justice. Guru Gobind Singh Ji fought with his famous pens, before he even lifted his sword. A child can stand up for what he or she believes in and will be heard far louder than a rambling gun in their hands. Preserve innocence, for it can be a weapon of righteousness as well. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  15. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! My other ids have been blocked. Or I can no longer use them. I'm sorry this will be the only ID I use. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  16. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! In turn by calling you insecure, you should respect what the Tiger of Khalistan siad by your own defense. And the fact that you referred to Tiger's post as 'dumb' isn't respectful at all, regardless of your beliefs. I respect that you may see something clearly in one light, but there are many perspectives that we don't always understand or agree with. If you think that Tiger of Khalistan has not properly responded to your topic, then show him/her how you justify your view, and he/she will also provide the facts. What harm is there in that? That is what heated discussion is all about. Not mudslinging. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  17. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! Regardless of who I am, I think I posed a valid argument, veerji. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  18. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! Putting arms in childrens hands is no solution. Bloodshed begets more bloodshed. Why mark our children as targets? They are innocent and know no wrong. To arm them with bullets is to brainwash a generation. I'm not saying we should just let our children die. And I'm not standing around while the oppressors continue to enslave. But our children need to understand the ideals of peace before live ammuniition is placed in front of them. Regardless of what has happened in the past, we will survive because we are Sikh. And we can do it without putting the idea of warfare in such innocent minds. Yes, children suffered at the hands of our oppressors. Let us not make the mistake of sentencing more of our younger generations to slavery struggle and death. I entreat you. Our children should be our vision for peace. A gun in the lap of a child is spilling the seeds at our childrens feet. Mourn and bless those that have been killed wrongfully, but don't curse many more to the same fate. Protect the children. This is what the young shaheeds would want you to remember. Don't arm them so they are targetted. Protect them so that Sikhism survives. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  19. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! In the end, many religions bow down to one God. Even in Hinduism, many of the lessor gods are just personalities of One. Therefore, Guruji identified that in a way, everyone was in some way connected to Waheguru. Not all muslims kill in the name of Allah, and many Hindus identify a highest entity in their thiestic hierarchy. And isn't it nice to know that at one time all religions will converge to Waheguru? Isn't that an ideal situation. We are all Sikhs because we are all disciples of Waheguru. It just takes time for some to realize than others. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  20. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! A Sikh approaches both sides with caution, and reasons out the Truthful one. One article against another is never enough to validate one viewpoint from another. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  21. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! Regardless of who sang it, they words are still powerful. Chamkila believed in this song, that is why he sang it. Can only one who is absolutely holy unravel the meaning behinds these words? I believe that if everyone sees the truth behind these words than it holds significant bearing. Let's not show prejudice to the song because of who sang it. Despite what many people believe if you actually listen to the songs of Chamkila, you will find he was singing about the ails that plagued our culture and society. Many of which, we ignore to recognize and rectify today. Though his songs were strong and sardonic, they revealed many underlying things about our culture that we cover up today. I think they were controversial because he showed no discretion to how he shone light on the issues. He did not hint at it, he just sang about it so everybody could here and address it. He never sang against Sikhism. He sang FOR Sikhism in my view. He revealed truths, (albeit grim) about human nature and the degradation of punjabi society. This song is a testament to the truth he wished to seek no matter how controversial. We cannot judge a man based on the songs he sang so quickly. Listen to a few of his songs, optimistically, and you might see that he was sending a message not an attack. Maybe that is why Akal Takhat allowed him to make such albums. Maybe that is why Akal Takhat allowed him to make such albums. Your views are welcome. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  22. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! Of course, there are paths that are in direct opposition to Waheguru, but I believe that many of the recognized faiths today in part are connected to Sikhism. Oneness (or monothiestic beliefs) are prevalent in many faiths. I believe that these faiths all Matha Taikh to the One Waheguru. That being said, it is only a matter of time before these distant Sikhs learn of our common destination and join us on our journey to the true path. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!

  24. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! Its actually a classic song sung by Amarjot Chamkila. About the part that was brought up in discussion, here's my take on it: Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji interpreted Ram and Rahim as simply the Hindu and Muslim God. Since God is One, (Waheguru), incidently we all preach of and pray to the same God. "Hai raste vakho vakhre par ik tikana The paths are diverse, but the Destination is One." I think this statement really outlines the Oneness of Waheguru, so unique that it is celebrated by every religion. Each faith promotes Matha Taikh to the highest One, our Waheguru. Any views? Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
  25. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!! This is a beautiful song written by Swarn Sivia. I'd love to analyze this poetry with my veerjis and bainjis. I think its a crucial peice on the condition of our culture today. Again, I welcome any healthy discussion. Waheguroo Jee Ka Khalsa! Waheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!!
