  4. Advertisements To Ban

    Why not remove advertisements out completely?

    Sure the main focus is obtaining maya to run the site, but im sure there are plenty of sevadaars here that can commit to monthly seva to help cover the costs.

    In the past there have been many changes that you guys have done to further improve SIKHSANGAT, this is as important and many think that it should be implied. There shouldnt be any non-sikhi advertisements anyway on a SIKH forum.

    Just my two cents..

    A time for all youth to come together, from little pre-schoolers to high school teens to university grads,

    all under one roof singing har jas kirtan all night long with our great guru before us.

    How lucky are we to have such a great oppurtunity!

    Let us ALL convince our families and friends to come out to this Youth Kirtan Darbar. A humble request to all kirtanees, please try to do any preet (love) vale shabads. Even if we do not get kirtan vaari, sing with others and remember to focus all your attention on shabad and guru ji. Singing with other guru pyaarai is also a vaar (turn). Lets dedicate this night once again to our guru, and understand exactly what is TRUE LOVE through Gur shabad.

    One thing may be positive from making a movie, but it may also be opening doors on the bad end.

    If a movie is made by hollywood portraying guru saahib, what would stop bollywood from making a similar type of movie with their sort of downgraded disgusting content ? Who would stop them from putting a clean shaved with a fake beard to represent guru saahib?

    Next time jee, most sites now have a 'searching' option built into their kirtan sections. If you look usually in the top right hand portion of the page you will see you can search the whole kirtan page. In this case, simply search in the shabad and you will get the following results (above link). This is the reason we include shabads in file names so it is easy to locate a specific file. Most other sites have done this as well.
