I don't really know where to start, just because the whole thing looks unsubstantiated. If you look at experience, Obama has Hillary beat, because he's spent more years in state legislature and congress than Hillary. The reason most people say that Hillary has more experience is because she married Bill Clinton. To quote a wise man, "if that's true, then Robin Givens is the next heavyweight champion of the world." Also, you clearly haven't done your research, because on Obama's official site, he outlines in a 60+ page paper what he plans to do for America, and how each point will positively affect America. If you want to talk about experience in terms of legislature, you should take a look at how many bills he's entered and had passed, and what makes them significant is how he got representatives from both sides of the aisle to support his bills. Look at the quality bills he entered and how they affect people. And you CLEARLY don't have a clue about international relations, otherwise you wouldn't be suggesting that we should be supporting yet Another military style dictatorship in Pakistan. Hey parwinder singh i didn't mean to disrespect you or you martial art bro. I mean five years is great dedication and i'm sure you are really good at it now. Respect to you that you as a singh are actually learning a martial art. You may have an instructer who actually wants the betterment of his students. All I'm saying is a lot of people are out there for your money so be careful. Yeah the wrist lock thing maybe true but i've just seen personally a second degree black belt who was the best student at a hapkido place which is known for its forty year experienced master get knocked out in a street fight by a street fighter. Who had no martial arts experience just a natural fighter. I still stand by krav maga and shastar vidiya as the martial arts to learn. Again muy thai, wrestling, jujitso and judo mixed in and you will be a killer. But again u have to find the right instructer. I mean having flashy kicks is not gonna help u if he goes for a siingle leg take down and u have no ground game. The mma dude is gonna end up in your mount punching your face in or having ur back choking u out. Trust me its the worst feeling in the world being chocked out knowing the guys not gonna stop even if u do tap.

agreet with you, boxing is insane to learn for defending yourself in a street fight cause most fights ive seen involve just punching the daylights out of eachother so boxing is essential to learn to learn to fight same goes for kickboxing.

I was very disappointed to read Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's statement about Sikh separatist threat on rise in Canada. I don't know what Indian government is seeing in Canada that we people living in Canada don't see. The only thing that we see is that Sikhs in Canada want to see Sikhs living in India treated fairly and they keep asking for punishment of Congress leaders who were involved in 1984 massacre of thousands of Sikhs.

The Indian Prime Minister can see terrorist threats in Canada and wants the Canadian government to take action but that Prime Minister doesn't see that in more than 23 years not even a single person has been sentenced for killing thousands of innocent Sikhs, raping women and burning properties in New Delhi in 1984. The Sikh Prime Minister can make a statement about Sikh separatist threats in western countries but the same Sikh Prime Minister doesn't feel sorry for thousands of innocent Sikhs killed in 1984 and doesn't want to get them justice and punish the guilty Congress leaders.

The Indian Prime Minister wants to show himself off as a tough Prime Minister raising his voice against terrorism but does this tough Prime Minister have guts to question the Indian justice system as to why not a single person has been sentenced in more than 23 years for killing thousands of innocent Sikhs in 1984? Can he question the administrators why they didn't take any action to save innocent lives? Can he question the Delhi police as to why they didn't take a single action to stop mobs from killing innocent people, raping women and burning properties? What was Delhi police doing in those days? Who was the police officer who decided not to allow the Sikhs in Dehi police to go out and save innocent people from killers? Even Sikh army officers in Delhi Cantonment were not allowed to go out and save innocent lives. Doesn't all this show that the massacre in 1984 was well planned and executed by the big Congress leaders and administrators of those years and that is why not even a single person has been sentenced so far in more than 23 years?

Mr. Manmohan Singh should know that Sikhs living in western countries feel very sorry for the injustice and unfair treatment being given to Sikhs in India. Manmohan Singh, a Sikh, is just a nominal figurehead and can't do anything to provide justice to the Sikh community and we had a similar figurehead President Zail Singh in 1984 who never raised his voice to get justice for innocent lives lost and the families who lost their houses and businesses. The government of India should think about how much foreign investments they have lost for their failure in being fair to the Sikh community. The majority of Sikhs living in western countries decided not to invest their money in Punjab or the rest of India because of this unfair treatment and innocent killings.

Honeslty in punjab whats causing the problem when i was their, is this jatt mentaility oh im jatt i have this much money so i buy my kids cars, they dont' get educated their kids dont' get educated to start buisnesses get jobs and help industralise punjab and they cut up their land and hang themselves running into debt, their kids are spoiled and are given no responsibility which is the worste thing a parant can do to their kid cause humans need a sence of purpose, and instead these kids have no work ethic so no way they can reach any purpose they give themselves.

Basicully soccer or football if your from england, do you want to play on the national team and fight for it all the way to the world cup giving yourself a purpose to win it, or would you rather play on a dream team and win every game easy? so humans need to give themselves purpose and need to give themselves a work ethic to reach it but parants rob this of their kids in punjab.

The only way we can begin to fix these problems is to IGNORE people who thrive on attention. Ignore them and send a message to them clearly.. that WE DUN CARE. If we are in a Gurudwara, it is because of the GURU and NOT because of these power hungry people. This will have effect if EVERY young sikh follows this regime.

Hahah I am not against rich people. However, I do believe in equal distribution of wealth.

When it comes to pharmaceutical companies, I see the economics of it as being very simple, they are a drug dealing business. Lets be critical, these companies do NOT cure their customers and they're goal is NOT to cure anyone. They are a BUSINESS and generation of Capital is their goal. To eliminate disease, sickness, etc would be counter productive for them, whereas increasing chemical dependancy benefits them.

If you havent noticed they have a pill for almost everything these days, when you can easily use natural alternatives. The sad part is that every pill has side effects, which in turn can be helped with the use of another pill lol.

It's not difficult to understand, if pharmaceutical companies researched for cures and provided cures, they would eliminate their market and it would be bad for business. But if they can create more side effects and create pills for everything, which in turn leads to the dependency of their customers on the pill to "stay healthy" this increases their profit and is good for business.

Regardless, my concern is with how our community puts so much emphasis on monetary wealth as a measure of success. Look at how quickly this post was made, in regards to these individuals being good role models based on no knowledge other then the fact that they were RICH.

im not a socilist i believe in competition, and don't believe in equal distribution of wealth i believe ppl who work hard at right things deserve it, ive seen sikhs come to canada knowing 11 words of english get wealthy just by working hard at right things.

should they have to share their wealth with ppl born in canada with all the oppurtunity's but refuse to work hard enough to use them.

But i believe ppl who are successfull at what they do make good role models because they show ppl what a person can accomplish if they put their mind to it, i believe god has given everyone limitless amount of potentials and ppl who succeed help inspire ppl to do the same and start making most of their potential.

To me i believe we are in desperate need of role models, especially in punjab were half the youth are on drugs, and in the west to pave the way for other sikhs.

To be honest, I'm not sure what we can ascertain from Sikhi with regards to animal testing. Also, I am not sure about how much animal testing is about drug companies tryign to get drugs out to market ASAP to maximise profits, as opposed to buildign up potency of drugs by slowly testign on humans first, which I guess would take longer.

From a totally non-Sikh view, I suppose you can say it's better to test on animals than humans. That's fair enough.

As for these guys, the fact they chose to be pictured and featured in a billionaires showcase article (I'm assuming htey did otherwise they would ask for their mention or their photos to be removed), shows that they have too much ego, attachment to money, and pride in their wealth.

THe person that springs to mind to me is Bill Gates. He is so rich, but also does so much good with his wealth in terms of the most deadly diseases for the poorest people, e.g. AIDS and Malaria in the 3rd world. So good can come from mega wealth accumulation, so not an easy topic to discuss. Which is why I said it's hard to judge these people straight off. Forgive me if they are actually good Sikhs. Not that I am one to judge.

Honeslty in punjab whats causing the problem when i was their, is this jatt mentaility oh im jatt i have this much money so i buy my kids cars, they dont' get educated their kids dont' get educated to start buisnesses get jobs and help industralise punjab and they cut up their land and hang themselves running into debt, their kids are spoiled and are given no responsibility which is the worste thing a parant can do to their kid cause humans need a sence of purpose, and instead these kids have no work ethic so no way they can reach any purpose they give themselves.

Basicully soccer or football if your from england, do you want to play on the national team and fight for it all the way to the world cup giving yourself a purpose to win it, or would you rather play on a dream team and win every game easy? so humans need to give themselves purpose and need to give themselves a work ethic to reach it but parants rob this of their kids in punjab.

In punjab ppl who practise caste are to dependent on their land and not educationg and if not education they need to get financial education, most familys in india in middle and upper class family's teach their kids financial literacy even if they don't finish school we need to learn financial literacy thats also why jews and gujaratis are rich.

Sports helps give ppl their own purpose and relise the adrenaline that their brain releases when they fight for their goals and dreams and reach them rather then replace that adrenaline in their brains with outside chemicals like cocain and heroin alchole.

MOST IMPORTANTLY PARANTS NEED TO TEACH THEIR KIDS SIKHI AND SIKH HISTORY, I MEAN OUR HISTORY IS SO INSPIRATIONAL, IT SHOWS ORDINARY PPL CAN DO EXTRODINARY THINGS, PUNJABIS BECAME SIKHS, WE BEAT THE ODDS, SIKHS WOULD FACE ARMY'S 10 TIME THEIR SIZE AND WIN. ALSO TO TEACH THIER KIDS ABOUT THE INJUSTICES SIKHS HAVE FACED IN THE 80'S AND 90'S

Sikhi to me represents that we can accomplish extraordinary things, that we are suppose to be leaders, that were suppose to welcome all challenges cause their is no challenge we cannot overcome, looking at our history were ordinary ppl came from all walks and took up the Sikh face and became extraordinary beating the odds fighting and defeating army's who had better weapons and outnumbered us over and over and bashing them. Sikhs are suppose to lead the world but instead were falling apart.

So what angers me is how is it that our problems have gotten big as they have, im frustrated i work at my local gurdwara and the leaders and elders frustrate me cause i think their more concerned about power and image then they are about the community.

Were is our community going to end up in 20 years at this pace
