Hello, can anyone provide an update on this? As someone who is both Sikh and has parents from Fiji, this is of interest to me. I've tried to locate the Gurdwara (Guru Nanak Singh Sabha?) online, however, I can find not reference to it in Sacramento. Yes, there is a fairly large population of Sikhs who have some ties to Fiji in Sacramento & Bay areas. Most, however, were only in Fiji for a generation or two, and still have strong familial ties with India.
I'm interested due to my family's (diminished) ties with Fiji, and because I know the problem of Kava to be quite widespread amongst Indians in Fiji, often to their detriment. It is all consuming.
