  1. barack HUSSAIN obama is the most liberal politican in america, look at what liberal politicans have done to europe and england when it comes to islamic terrorism, barack obama's family is muslim well half, his dad muslim step dad muslim and he grew up in muslim country, how hard is he going to be on islamic terrorists, i think he's going to be soft on them iran he has to go to war with iran, iran made another thread of blowing up isreal this week, what is he going to do with iran, what is he going to say to them to stop making weapons, and if he bails iraq then how is he going to position the us army for iran??? iraq war was for three reasons according to richard clark, former head of anti terrorism under reagan bush clinton bush, then he quit few years ago 1. bush sr's pay back on saddam 2. oil cause to fight terrorism in middle east you have to control the oil since america is so dependent on it 3. to have a position to try controlling the middle east through military force, and they want to use iraq and a battle ground to move into other country's like iran now america is winning again in iraq, a victory is stabalising the country so america can position itself to attack iran, one good thing out of this war is the sunni shia civil war, less time for them to attack anyone else and obama has no experience, i mean what has he accomplished really, whats his track record, mccain is dumb but obama i believe is dumber, he hasn't done anything and is making big promises, he attacked bill clinton of falling short on some issues when he was president, so obama better keep his promises cause if he falls short just a little he's gonna get roasted and burned alive, if hilary was running it would of bin another 4 years of bill clinton and under bill america saw prosperity and peace, but only issue would be if she would attack iran and stay in iraq cause even though its bush's stupid war america has to stay in iraq. or iran will mess them up only smart move mccain can make is try convincing bobby jindal to run as vice president and it would be pretty cool if we had a punjabi vice president but he refuses to run, but if he did he would destroy obama on every issue, and jindals resume makes obama look dumb. and he's only 36.

  4. http://sikhhelpline.com/cms/index.php?opti...7&Itemid=36 Source: World Sikh News Written by Harjot Singh Saturday, June 09, 2007 LONDON: In a sensational piece of news, the Birmingham Mail has reported that a teenage Sikh girl was being guarded by police after claims that she had been forced to convert to Islam. An armed gang smashed their way into a house in Erdington last month and threatened the occupants, apparently in search of the girl. She was reported missing from her family home in West Bromwich a few days earlier. They are concerned that the girl, understood to be a student at Sutton Coldfield college, could have been forced to switch religion, it was reported. "This lady has been located and is currently in the care of West Midlands Police," a force spokesman said, assuring community members that the girl was "safe and well". An investigation was launched on May 25 following the aggravated burglary in Erdington when masked men broke into the house and threatened the occupants with weapons, possibly believing the girl was staying there. Police said no one was injured in the incident. The police is also inquiring into the motive behind the attack, and has not ruled out the possibility this may be linked to a report received concerning the whereabouts of an 18-year-old female from West Bromwich, who was reported missing by her family. A spokesman for Birmingham City Council said: "We are working closely with the police to deal with a number of sensitive issues being raised by members of the community and will be working together with other interested parties to consider the wider and longer term implications for the city."
  5. no offence to anyone, but i have a serious question and alot of ppl have talked about this regarding the nagar keertan parades world wide, if we look at the costs of running these naggar keertan parades its itleast over $100 000 dollars, arn't their better ways we can invest that money on helping the sikh community rather then have parades can't we use that money to rent out stadiums or huge halls so we can educate our community and other community's about sikhi, are history, and problems we faced in the 80's and face today regarding human rights, can't we use that money to start finding solutions and putting solutions into effect with all the problems are community is having regarding drugs alchole gangs and so on When i went to the parade in surrey when it came to the youth i think majority of them learned nothing much regarding sikhi, most the youth went to hang out with their friends, you had girls showing off their new suits and guys their just to look at the girls, this is why i think we need to use that money to improve our community educate are community and other community's involving sikhi.

  10. CHICAGO - Sikh Religious Society of Chicago organized a peaceful vigil and demonstration on Saturday May 10, 2008 at Northwestern University Evanston Illinois, Kelogg School of Business Management where an India Business development conference was organized. Kamal Nath, commerce minister of India was invited as a key note speaker. Nath was reported by eyewitnesses as involved in leading the killer mobs at Rakab Ganj gurdwara in Delhi in November 1984 where the gurdwara was set to fire by the miscreants in his presence and Sikhs were burnt alive. Nath was reported as “controlling the crowd.” He has been through various inquiry commissions. In a very short notice, more than 50 Chicago Sikhs showed up to demonstrate with placards, flyers (copy attached) were distributed to students and passersby. The purpose was to educate the university management, conference organizers, university students, and the public in general about the crimes against humanity committed by Nath. “The university will think twice before inviting people like Nath again. Such demonstrations should follow him wherever he is invited to speak.,” said one of the organizers
  11. best thing is to educate youth, cause unfortanatly many of the youth don't know the difference between punjabi culture and sikhi. They think sikhism and punjabi culture and bhangra are one thing.

  13. SEATTLE - Dozens of Sikhs gathered in a SeaTac neighborhood on May 10, mourning the death of a local taxi driver. The victim, also Sikh, was found dead in his cab about 3:30 a.m. after firefighters responded to a call about a car fire. After dousing the flames, they made the grim discovery near South 177th Street and 38th Avenue South. King County Sheriff's spokesman John Urquhart offered few clues as to what happened but said the death is being investigated as a homicide. Fellow cab drivers said the 43-year-old victim had been dispatched to pick up a passenger in the area just before he was killed. The driver has not been officially identified, but friends and a relative say he was a four-year resident of SeaTac, originally from India. For the past three years, he worked the night shift for Farwest Taxi. He was married in January to a woman in India, and he had hoped to bring her to the United States soon, according to a man who identified himself as the victim's nephew. The nephew said he planned to call her tonight. Friends say the victim had gained permanent resident status and described him as a nice, polite and helpful man. Lakhvir Singh, secretary at the Singh Sabha Temple of Washington, said the victim volunteered at the Renton temple, cooking and distributing food. Another friend recalled the victim's generous spirit. One night, when the victim had finished a shift when he was working at gas station, he dashed over to another station to fill in for a friend who desperately needed some time off. In 2004, after another taxi driver was killed, the city of Seattle required that digital cameras be installed in every cab. The cameras snap photos of anyone who's picked up, which are recorded in a sort of black box hidden in the vehicle. . A back-seat sign in each cab informs riders about the camera. That could be why the perpetrator set the taxi on fire, taxi driver Vikram Bains speculated. "Maybe he thought he'd destroy the black box," he said. Although drivers are well aware of the dangers inherent in the business, many say it's rare that they're victimized. In 14 years of driving the day shift, Bains said someone ran off without paying only a few times. But, he said, "the risk factor is multiplied when you drive at nighttime."
  14. when you say government oppresion do you mean government corruption cause to stop corruption in a democracy you have to have a leader to lead the ppl to give power back to the ppl, in a real democracy the ppl are spose to be in power and politicans work for ppl but in punjab politicans have power and the ppl work for them. Whats the best way to give power to the people? Difference between america and punjab is that americans had seized the power the ppl had the power and still do though politicans have more power today then they did before, and in punjab the politicans have the power, so how do we turn it around like america? How do we stop the drug abuse in punjab? How do we get the youth going to school again and get buisnesses started up in punjab
  15. what needs to be done to have the ppl behind the anti sikh riots hung what needs to be done to have men like kps gill and other punjab police officers hung for killing inocent sikhs how can we bring ppl in punjab together to bring power back to them and take it away from the corrupt politicans, cause in a democracy the people are spose to be in power and the politicans as public servants were right now in punjab we have corrupt politicans in power and the ppl working as public servands how do we as a community bring war on drugs in punjab and get youth off drugs how we as a community not let punjab fall behind after being ahead for so many years economically and help kick charge punjab's economy again how do we see to it the whole community is educated on sikhi how do we make sure that corruption is kept out of the gurdwaras
  16. will khalistan be, why not focus our time and money on sikh issues right now and after we fix the problems now and then if ppl want then they can think about khalistan their are way to many issues effecting the sikh community for khalistan to happen. over 70% of the sikh population have no clue on what sikhi is and many mix punjabi culture for sikhism their's no leadership in the community we can't even run gurdwaras we just keep fighting and have ppl running the gurdwaras stealing from the gurdwaras youth are into drugs and gangs many boys and girls carry low self esteem 1 in 2 youth in punjab is hooked on drugs the water is giving ppl cancer in punjab less then half the youth are finishing college the punjab economy is growing slower and slower while rest of india speeds up if khalistan was given today how many ppl would stay to live in it, and how fast would the country collapse into 5th world poverty with so many problems we first have to overcome if we have all these challenges and have yet to overcome them, then how in the world do we expect guru ji to give us khalistan.
