I'm a member of many Sikh Discussion forums, but I must say that I have throroughly benefited from SikhSangat, simply because we are all at that learning level. Other groups tend to get too academic about the smallest things which confuse many youth. The idea of a discussion forum is to inspire and encourage, not to bombard with all the world's chatter.

I like being on SikhSangat. I like humour and good nature of our members. They are young and they do not involve themselves in slander, which many forums are infected with.

I have learnt a lot from my young brothers and sisters on this forum and through them have I found many more doors that lead me ever so closer to my Guru . . .

And good work, to the the moderators and Waheguroo Network. I'm inspired by your seva.

perhaps you're not aware that kim bolan works hard at killing any hard-earned image that Sikhs work for, especially in Canada..

perhaps you're not aware that sikhsangat had once been called a sikh-terrorist forum by kim bolan in her lil column.

perhaps you're not aware that for whatever reason, kim bolan has a large large following in B.C.

perhaps you're not aware that her columns are among the most read in B.C.

perhaps you're not aware that in her columns, she consistently implies that sikhs are an irresponsible group of people, who don't extend any concern for other citizens that they live with..

perhaps you're not aware that the less educated people (of which some communities in B.C have many) don't care to investigate further, and will take news as fact, and will believe everything a reporter says.

perhaps you're not aware that freedom of speech is a right, not a privelige, and that you're not supposed to simply use a stage without thinking when given one...

perhaps you'er ont aware that your comments, from your computer in manitoba, may (or may not, who knows) harm a brother or sisters' life who LIVES in B.C and has to dela with the backlash of the words of people who don't know how to extend etiquette....yes, even on an internet forum.

WE COOK SHAHI PANEER, PALAK PANEER AND MATAR PANEER.

THE BEST METHOD IS

TAKE 5 ONIONS, 5 TOMATOES

FIRST GRIND ONIONS AND MAKE ONION PASTE

TAKE SOME OIL IN PAN FRY ONION Paste till it goes brown and get separated from oil.

u need too much oil to fry onions , but after it fried then u can remove extra oil .

then put some haldi ( turmic powder), chopped green chilies, salt, then put the tomato paste in it.

fry till its beacme thicj gravy and heat still oil is separated. put some water also . dnt make it like taari lol

juz make a thich gravy, put a one kadchi ( or 2big tbs) of courd and 2 tbs oh cream or malai.

then put some diced paneer.

same is the case with matar paneer but dnt put cream and curd and dnt make it too thick and cook matars (peas) with onion paste.

I was just wondering if there was any updates on piyaaray keertan sevadaar, Bhai Avtar Singh Ragi.

Last I had heard, he was coming to Ottawa for a few days, and then abruptly cancelled because he was recalled to India for treatment of leukemia. At that point he was given three weeks to live, but a couple weeks later, that had been increased to a month-and-a-half

i guess, my question is...is bhai sahib ji still with us? There's been no updates or anything... does anyone know anything about his condition and situation?
